I'm a 42 year old mother of two young boys. Like many know, as you get older, your body changes (especially if you give birth.) I'm 5'2" and was always a very tiny person - never had to diet - etc....then I had two 9lb plus children (both c-sections) and suddenly...BAM...my body had become something I wasn't familiar with. Lots of extra belly skin, fat pouches, stretchmarks, etc. My stomach muscles were SEVERELY stretched out and it was making me feel miserable for a long time, because I know had this giant fold of belly flab and extremely fleshy belly fat that wasn't gonna go ANYWHERE, despite any dieting/exercise I did. Pants didn't fit me. Couldn't wear fitted shirts. Bathing suits? Ugh... Am I preaching to the choir yet, ladies? :) I researched tummy tucks, etc. and the idea of having such invasive surgery to cinch my muscles back (and/or possibly have the extra skin cut off) just seemed way too much to deal with, so I sadly accepted this was how it was just gonna be. I saw women with "tummy situations" VERY similar to mine (some even more damaged than mine) and their after shots were unbelievable. Laser lipo was able to fix all that!??! Are you kidding?!?! I was sold. I went in, had a consultation, discovered that a lot of my "fat" was the type that would be easier to get to (over the muscle) and just hearing that I could have so much of my problem fixed just blew me away. Long story short, I am now 1 week post procedure. I had upper/lower abdomen and waist done, and I am ALREADY seeing the results. Yes, this is not to be used for weight loss (of course, you WILL lose a little weight from it though) It's to help re-shape your body. I am still a bit bruised and sore, but I couldn't be happier. I've already been doing a diet/exercise regimen and this absolutely jumpstarted my confidence level. There is work involved. It takes a few months before you will be back to "normal" (ie: lumpiness, etc) but seriously, if you are struggling with how you are looking, I highly recommend you check them out. Best thing I could have done. Looking down and seeing already the VAST improvement that has been done and knowing it will just keep looking better just....I don't have words. It makes me feel wonderful, and I'm glad to do whatever it takes to keep up with the healing process to make me look and feel my best. FYI: I have a high threshold of pain (2 c-sections and many tattoos) but the procedure is NOT that bad at all. You get a valium and a vicodin, and I was pretty lucid thru the whole thing, asked questions, etc. The numbing of my stomach was fine, and really, only a few times during the whole thing did it get REALLY uncomfortable, but it's brief, and frankly, totally worth it. It's not bad AT all. You will be "leaking" saline/lidocaine for a couple days afterwards, but it's pretty easy to tend to. You also have to wear a compression garment while your stomach heals for the first 10 days. Very necessary, and helpful. Am I going to have a swimsuit model physique? No. Will I have rock hard abs? No. Do I still have some stretchmarks? Of course. It's not "magic"....BUT...do I look already 10x better? ABSOLUTELY. I thank you, Sono Bello. I didn't think this could be possible for me. In 2010 I did a consult with Sono Bello and chickened out. 5 years later, I was still battling the same bulges and scheduled another consultation. I had already consulted with a couple plastic surgeons and was not excited about the scars or the down time. When I called in, they still had my records from my first visit. I met with Bailey and she went thru the everything with me and she gave me information on the doctors to let me make my choice. I signed up that day and scheduled my appointment for July 31st. I had a pre-op meeting with Dr. Crawford. Everyone is very professional, friendly and communication has been top notch. I don't remember much from my procedure, they claim you are awake, and my husband said I was when he picked me up. I did sleep all day Friday. I am 52, good health. I did my stomach area upper and lower and sides. I took the pain pills Friday and Saturday. Advil for few days after that. I felt really good Saturday - sore. I needed a little help when you put the compression garment on in the beginning. Sunday I actually was up and about grocery shopping and went to a movie. I was at work on Monday. It has been 12 days, I had my first followup and everything looks great. The areas are healing, the bruising is better, I am still tender in areas - but my stomach area is looking really good. My new compression garment will be in this week. I have one venus freeze scheduled in a few weeks. I am very very happy at this stage. I will update and will most likely add that last star! :) update: 9.3.15 - It has been little over 4 weeks since my procedure. I am still very very happy with my results. There is some odd tingly sensations that are still around, the Dr. said this is normal. My incision areas are completely healed. I am not crazy about one of the garments that you wear. It is hot. So I have ordered another one similar to the one I came home in. I am diligent about wearing them. I had my first Venus freeze treatment yesterday - now that was awesome. I can't say enough wonderful things about Sono Bello. Having had traditional lipo over 25 years ago I new pretty much what to expect. I read some of these before going. Honestly thought the folks with bad experiences didnt do their homework...I was right. I was a yoyo dieter but came back to the same weight and shape everytime. I run 5 to 6 half marathons a year and run at least 2 miles every day. I also play ice hockey sometime 3 times a week. This year I am hiking the Grand Canyon too. Went to family doctors and my cardio and blood work came back all great. Research and frustration brought me to Sono Bello because my weight is not my issue. From everything i could find I was just going to have a gut. I wasnt going to accept that answer any more. Stopped the beer, stopped the sodas, stopped the fried foods and sugars. Nothing seemed to work to get rid of the gut. It took me 6 months to research and really do my homework before making this decision. It is not something just to say, this will kick start something. You need to try everything else to make this work correctly from what I found. The Austin team has treated me with nothing but respect and professionalism. Which I want to praise them for their hard work. I am 3 weeks post treatment. Swelling is going down. Things are tapering down as they said. I have the hard spots but massage and make sure i still walk for 10 min every hour. Wear my garment for at least 10 hours a day as well. Kicking in weight lifting into my routine. Notice GI tract and metabolism working different with my new routines and also taste buds have seem to charge. Not having the cravings I used to have. I am excited to get to my 3 month check up see their pictures and the ones i have been keeping. Hope this proceedure keeps on track and the hard spots keep working out of my body. I drink close to 140oz of water not to keep flushing the system. It is not over night and everything is explained clearly. Listen to the nurses and doctors. They want you to succeed and want you to enjiy the results. Do your homework and dont just do this for an easy out. Sono Bello has truly been a life changer for me. Normally I'm the type of person who doesn't necessarily like to have procedures done as I get very nervous, and I'm very shy with my body. However, after much reluctance, I decided to go in and see what kind of results I could expect if I were to get liposuction done in a few areas. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Rachel, one of the front office staff, and almost immediately my worries were put at ease. She was very warm, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable. 2 procedures in the past year and I'm on top of the world. I'm 8 months post-op from my first procedure and about 3 weeks post-op from my second procedure. I had lipo done to my upper/lower abs, waist, bra roll and lower back, as well as Ex Procedure to remove loose skin at the bottom of my stomach. The scar on my tummy isn't bad at all and I'm pleased with the length and symmetry of the line. It is easily hidden near my bikini line so I'm not complaining! This office is amazing and I'm so happy with my results! My consultant, Bailey, is the sunshine in a bottle! She really went to bat for me to make sure I got the results I wanted and didn't disappear after my procedure. She still texts me occasionally just to make sure i'm healing well and is always there to answers follow-up questions. Dr. Okapku snatched my waist and removed fat from my lower back - giving me the perfect hourglass shape. I already had a big butt, so the procedure gave the illusion that I had a brazilian butt lift-which is exactly what I expressed I wanted. My experience with the Austin Sono Bello was FANTASTIC !! I'd always eaten healthy and kept active, but couldn't get rid of that last little bit and even worse, I'd developed what I called my "kangaroo pouch" in that the belly skin hung at my pelvis (no matter what I tried )!! This review is for the consultation service and how I felt about the process. I was searching for the best weight loss centers in all areas. To be honest, I looked at Sono Bello because I've seen all the commercials. I am very reluctant when it comes to publicized commercials on things like these because they can appear like a bad company. The first thing I do is research thoroughly for the company. Sono Bello had a lot of bad reviews, but I decided to give it a try because centers like these tend to get reviewed badly. The staff was super friendly. I was able to ask all my questions. Mind you, these questions were very detailed. They were very knowledgeable and was able to give me everything I asked for. These procedures can be difficult and they don't work for everybody. I get that, but the best thing I look for in a company that will take control of how my body will look after, this center was able to make me feel comfortable. They genuinely told me all of the facts, risks, and concerns. I am 28 years young, and I am getting cellulite. They told me what treatments are for my body contouring needs and skin rejuvenation process. They said that these treatments were less invasive and these will tighten my skin. I asked if I was too young to be doing a process like this? They said no, and that many others have asked about this procedure. I am very satisfied with their customer service and management. I would like to say at first when i looked online and saw the reviews i was scared and did not think it would work. but after making an appointment and talked to Bailey by the way is very nice and answered all my questions that i had and listened to all my concerns i made the decision to go ahead and do it. i did my stomach up and lower, and hips. and they Tri X which cuts the bottom flab that i could NEVER GET RID OF NO MATTER WHAT I DID. i went in for my surgery and met Doctor O which is AMAZING by the way listened to my concerns answered any questions and i was ready to get started. after results the next day i was swollen and all bruised of course. but i did take pictures so i can see the results. Doctor O told me to walk, walk walk and thats what i did. i ate healthier by the 3rd month i saw a big difference and even my boyfriend noticed it. i was so happy to see the flab gone and my stomach shrunk, my hips smaller, even my co workers want to go to Sono Bello now when they saw my results i get so many compliments, they even told me what did i do to lose weight. :) even now i am on walking and running all the time now and very impressed with my results. if i do not lose the weight in my thighs i will go and get that done. this is the first time i ever did something like this and i will never forget that Sono Bello changed my life. i eat healthier and work out all the time now to keep the weight off. my flab from having 4 kids is GONE. I had liposuction in 1992. It was worth it but it was very painful and my recovery at 6 weeks was worse that one week at Sonobello in Austin, Tx. The procedure was not completely free of pain but the pain was minimal and infrequent--less that a quick bee-sting where the small spots for the lipo instrument insertion were made. These are about the circumference of a #2 pencil eraser--a lot smaller than I thought they would be, much smaller than I expected. I was drugged with something for anti-anxiety but Dr. O and I talked throughout the procedure about what things are healthiest to eat. He introduced me to The China Study which I read and found fascinating. I paid for my daughter's procedure. She was afraid of the surgery and asked for the most drugs she could have since the surgery is not done under general anasthesia. She doesn't remember anything about the procedure at all. Both of us have been impresses by the phone calls to check up on how we are doing. We're also pleased with the emails sent at certain weeks to let us know how we should be progressing. Dr. O gave me his cell number and told me to call about anything that concerned me. I could not be happier with Sonobello. I advise listening to the staff when they explain what to expect about bruising and swelling and to follow their advice. I just had my one month follow up and have swelling and uneven patches of subcutaneous fat, but I knew to expect them. read more

As a female at age 52, I have always been in good shape. I work out, swim, golf - basically very active. However, I had been slacking off in my work out regime and started to put on weight on my stomach and for the first time, I had fat on my back and hips. I had a private doctor perform smart lipo 8 years ago, and the results from Sono Bello are much much better, I am proof that you get what you pay for...cheaper is not better!! Plus the staff at Sono Bello is more professional than the previous private doctor I used, (the Sono Bello doctor called me to check on me the night of the procedure and gave me his private cell in case I had any emergency, and the SB nurses have been available as soon as I call to answer my questions....I just wanted to add a follow up review. It has now been 1 week and my results are much better than I expected. I have lost 2 inches in my waist and 1 inch in my thighs and 5 pounds but when my friends saw me they said it looks like more than that! The nurses have followed up with me everyday and been very helpful answering my questions. I can't wait to see the results as the final bit of swelling goes down. And as I said before there was no pain, just a little bruising and felt like sore muscles similar to the soreness after exercising. This is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I had the best experience. I would highly recommend Sono Bello to any of my family and friends. I was so unhappy with my extra skin from having my son . im a petite person got back to my weight in a year but the skin was just hanging there and a few fat pockets I couldn't kick. I had the best experience ever. I am still well into seeing the results of my treated areas. Dr. Bekanick was super amazing during my pre-op visit. Oh and I cannot forget about the amazing Consultant, Bailey. She new her stuff and had high spirits towards wanting to help me achieve and seeing a better me and to help me gain my confidence back. Like I mentioned I am still recovering and I am seeing results. You have to fallow what is being told you by the doctor. If you don't fallow the diet and start to work out then the opposite will happen. This is like any one who is wanting to lose weight, you have to fallow a diet and fallow a good exercise program. It takes time, and results wont happen over night. I had a baby almost 2 years ago. After diet and exercise, I could not lose that baby bulge. So I decided to get Lipo. Its only been a month and some change and I'm loving my new bod!!! I have a waist again!!! No love handles!!! No baby bulge!!! They took two liters of fat from my abs and waist. The staff is amazing. At the last minute, my ride bailed on me. The staff at this clinic is wonderful. Being a first time patient, I was a bit nervous, but they quickly made me feel at ease. Bailey was so knowledgeable and realistic about what I could expect from the procedure. The nurses, Lindsey and Felishia, explained and reviewed everything, from the actual incisions, to my recovery process. After meeting with my doctor, Dr. Erella, I was so excited about what my outcome would be. The procedure went fine and was painless, but the 2days afterward were the hardest for me. The medication helped with the discomfort. Dr. Erella called and checked on me that evening, making sure that I was doing alright. I am into my 10th day of recovery and feeling much better. I can already see a difference, and I know each day will get better. Wearing the undergarment and massaging the areas will help further the tightening and smoothing of my stomach. I am estatic with my results from Sono Bello! First off, the staff and doctors couldn't have been nicer; but the best part is that I finally feel confident about my shape!
