Update: FYI: Customer service did not contact me and there is no private DM. Previously were very good. Now all new hires. Original: I got second degree burns from laser hair removal. I have bought LHR and clear and brilliant as well from them. I am afraid to go back for services - not only did the nurse aesthetician burn me, she brushed it off when I said it was a burn. I was given no immediate first aid (cold water to calm the burn. All they had were ice and hydrocortisone which are not appropriate for treating burns). After the manager at the Domain "Kelsi" decided that putting my cat down was not an excuse for missing my appointment. I have been a customer with LaserAway for a few years now and I had an emergency this morning with my cat so I was unable to make it to my appointment. Had to put my cat down and then ended up talking to the manager, Kelsi and she stated that I would still have to pay the $50 cancellation fee. Keep in mind this is the first time I have ever missed an appointment. So needless to say I will NEVER purchase another package from LaserAway and will tell my friends to stay away. I want to express my disappointment with my experience at LaserAway. I purchased a package that included a lip filler and body laser sessions. It was my first time getting this type of aesthetic treatment, so I had no way of knowing that the filler had an expiration date. I received the first filler without any issues and was told to schedule the next appointment within a few weeks. Due to scheduling conflicts, I couldn't attend within that time frame, but at no point was I informed that the filler would expire after 30 days. When I finally rescheduled and returned to continue with the lip filler, I was suddenly told that the product had expired and that I would now have to pay an additional $750. This came as a complete surprise and was extremely frustrating, as no one warned me that there was a time limit to use the filler. I find it unfair that these conditions are not clearly communicated to clients from the start. I hope they review their customer service policies, as this situation has been truly disappointing. We had a terrible experience here. As another Yelper had indicated, they do not provide transparency in their pricing. We were unable to get any ball park info on the phone. They pressured my daughter to come in for a consult. They also had her sign up for a credit company. She was then charged $800 without her authorization and without her agreeing to move forward with the treatment. She attempted to contact the clinic but they would not return her calls. I tried to assist and when I called they hung up on me. When I called back they would not pick up. The third time I called, the receptionist answered and stated she would give the message to the correct person. We never heard back from them so we contacted the credit company. The credit company opened an investigation and immediately reversed the charge as it was not authorized. Shady! read more

I'm genuinely disappointed with my entire experience at LaserAway, from start to finish. It began with a phone consultation where I felt intense pressure to sign up immediately. The representative was persistent in keeping me on the line until I agreed to open a loan for the hair removal package, which totaled over $3,000. The moment I hung up, I was left thinking, "What did I just get myself into?" I felt taken advantage of, and honestly, a bit scammed. I ended up signing up for Brazilian, underarm, and leg hair removal. They gave me a small discount because I had tattoos on my legs, but looking back, I should have trusted my gut and ended the call before committing. Throughout my treatment, the technicians were all very kind--but the quality of care was inconsistent. A few appointments felt rushed, and I could tell the laser intensity wasn't as strong as it should have been, even after I expressed that hair was still growing back. Ironically, my last appointment was the most effective; the technician used the proper intensity and explained that the rash I experienced afterward was actually a sign the treatment was working. That should've been the standard all along. After that final session, the front desk staff tried to sell me three more visits for over $500--down from $1,900. But given how much I'd already spent, I decided I'm better off continuing my treatments elsewhere. I also had issues with customer service. On more than one occasion, I was hung up on when trying to reschedule. I'm a kind and patient person, but I now realize that I let that kindness be taken advantage of. I followed all the aftercare instructions closely and was genuinely excited about the results. I had saved up for this and was looking forward to ditching my razor for good. Unfortunately, after investing over $3,000, I'm left with minimal results and a lot of regret. I feel disheartened and, honestly, scammed. The only reason I'm giving one star is because of the friendliness of most of the technicians. For context, I don't live a glam aesthetic and have never felt much interest in body modification practices aside from tattooing. I just moved to Austin and was looking for a reputable medical spa to get Clear and Brilliant laser sessions. I have done this procedure 3 times a year, for the last 2 years for maintenance of my skin and am trying to continue that in Austin. The person shared they had Black Friday specials, that an initial consultation would be necessary and that they were free that todaor next day to discuss. I was excited to try lip fillers and went to LaserAway (in tribeca) which I thought would a great experience, till my lip filler settled.. not only was some of my syringe discarded after I purchased a full syring, telling her I want the whole thing... I used the 2 syringe I had purchased, only to have put more on the bottom lip leaving me with an uneven look At the time... & as of today, it looks as if I haven't had any fillers done.. . 2 syringes from apr -June I should have notice a difference. after a consultation, they tried to have me purchase yet another syringe. Nurses always miss the inner labia when you get a Brazilian, even when I've asked them to get that part. Regan got every inch without me bringing up any areas.
