I first thought I would go implants but did have belly fat to work with after having a child, so DIEP and not having to worry about negative reactions to implants anytime on the future felt right. Dr Potter is a highly skilled microsurgeon. My outcome for DIEP post 6 weeks has been positive thus far. The caring the team shows is immense. Her PA Whitney and Bernaise are knowledgeable and fast to respond. Mary at her front desk was a patient so she give great encouragement understanding and support. I love the nurses!! Kathy! Samantha! Elaine! I know I am forgetting others. When I told Samantha that the expanders and the bras I had were so painful she made great suggestions and even had one in office for me to try and head home with. My surgeries were at St David's and went extremely well the nursing care I got post DIEP was absolutely fab very closely guided by Dr Potter's requirements. I recently started massage with Annaliese who is in Dr Potter's office twice a week to support patients. She is lymphatic and post surgical manual lymphatic drainage massage therapy certified. SHE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD good!! You don't have to be a patient of Dr Potter to see her. Dr Potter is quite effective with her time so a lot of your care comes from her team but she has hand picked them and trained them and they are awesome. It's ok with me if she spends less time with me in order for her to see my patients and help my women heal.

She took time and was extremely informative about what was happening and what was going to happen. And things progressed very quickly and every question was answered with the time to explain it in human language. The office staff were also extremely helpful and supportive. Always smiling and very friendly, which is a huge benefit to anyone going through what my wife is. Bedside manner earns her a place in the top docs of all time in our book!!

He spent so much time making sure he understood my concerns and validated me without making me feel self conscious at all. I saw multiple surgeons for consultations, and Dr. Weinfeld's was so far above the rest that it wasn't ever a question who I would go with. I am only two weeks post op today, but I am so, so happy with my results! His follow-up care has also been phenomenal. If I were to ever get another procedure down the road, it would absolutely be with Dr. Weinfeld. His entire staff and surgical team are also amazing! They are so attentive and caring. Truly a 10/10 experience.

After my nose was broken in an abusive incident, I contacted Dr. Weinfeld's office for a revision consultation. The first nurse was kind and said they could get me in quickly. When my financial situation improved a couple weeks later, I reached out again and explained the urgency. Another nurse then reviewed my message and told me they no longer wanted to take me on as a patient. This was very distressing, especially as someone reaching out for help after trauma. When I called to clarify, I received scripted, dismissive responses and no willingness to reconsider. I'm posting this so others know how the staff handled my situation. If you need supportive or compassionate care during a vulnerable time, please take my experience into account.

Having cosmetic surgery is a big deal and requires self examination and getting accurate…read moreinformation. In February 2020 I met with Dr. Sharma and his nurse Sara about getting liposuction. About me- I am 64, 6 feet tall and weigh 160 lbs. My concern was that, even though I was fairly thin, I was kind of cylinder shaped and had a protruding stomach. At that time they recommended liposuction and tummy tuck because liposuction alone would not address my protruding stomach (2 children, a surgery scar.) Matter of fact, without tummy tuck, my stomach might stick out more and I'd have loose skin which could cause a flap Ugh! So I was considered this new information seriously . Corona came up so I followed through 7 months later. This time I brought my husband of 41 years with me to the consultation. With great patience, Dr Sharma once again explained the situation. Kind of embarrassing in front of husband but I needed his buy in. I decided to go forward. Between the two appointments, I believe the doctor, himself, with his nurse spent 1.5 hours with me. You could tell he was 'Patient first', unlike some physicians. Since I was leaving town for a few weeks, I haven't had surgery yet. But I am very confident that I am making the right decision now and I will feel better about my appearance later. In addition, I feel his rates were reasonable considering his level of expertise. This is no time to use a Groupon or go to Mexico to save a few bucks!

I did not have a good experience with him . Had bbl lipo 360…read more, had to have a bbl revision and i'm stilll stuck with an ugly dent . gave me a discount for Aveli treatment and i paid 1700 . Well after my bbl revision he didn't offer to comp me for that procedure since it was all a waste after a much needed revision .. no instead he offered me another discount only . As if 1700 was nothing . In regards to my BA i came in with CC and he offered to help since i was originally going to go with a surgeon that's specializes in CC and he made it seem like a quick fix . Instead of making changes to prevent CC as other surgeons suggested he used same site , no specific after care , and ultimately i developed a CC almost immediately. he didn't try any other options to at least prevent cc . Yes CC cannot sometimes be avoided , it's your bodies reaction to a foreign object and each individual scars differently. But why repeat the same process again ?!? and why shy away when there is a process to CC removal and to help your patients get a satisfactory end result. Revision for my BA a complete mess . He knew how to put in the implants but he doesnt seem confident when addressing complications and even the ones he created . When i was developing a CC in my right breast the inflammation was making it hard to my right breast incision to heal and dr franco and his staff gave me wound healing instructions contrary to what I needed . Instead I had to go to wound care and ring up a $9000 wound care bill . Instead of taking out the implant he just closed me right back up leaving a horrible scar and now i have a CC in my right breast Now i have one CC breast and one that he revised leaving with severe ptosis and looks completely different from my other breast . Cant wear a bathing suit top can't go bra less . These new Preservaion aka over the muscle implants preservation is just a fancy word . pros and cons . One of the biggest cons is your at higher risk for CC and hard to read Mammo . and that's fine and all because there are risks with the under the muscle too but my point is Get a surgeon who will follow you through, not only when it's easy . And one that will take ownership of there mistakes . Dr franco would forget what he would tell me. Change it up last minute. Gets irritated if you ask too many questions , does not take ownership of his mistakes and will tell you everything looks Great!!! when it actually doesn't If anyone would like photos for reference , I don't mind sharing . Would hate for someone to go through what i'm experiencing. Aesthetically and financially a waste. I spent close to 30 grand with this guy and could t even my Aveli Apparently this guy thinks I came to him for just for a capsule removal for 12,000. Ummm noooo i wanted to look good too .. Isn't that a plastic surgeon's specialty And of course it's now radio silent from his staff . Now i'm in the process of finding another surgeon to fix his mess .

From start to finish, the communication and support were exceptional. Before the surgery, the team texted and called to check on me, provided detailed paperwork about the procedure and risks, and thoroughly reviewed my medical history. I never felt rushed, and Dr. Franco truly listened to my concerns. He was kind, patient, and reassuring through the entire process. This was my first-ever cosmetic surgery, so I was definitely nervous, but it's something I've wanted for a long time. I flew in from Denver because I didn't feel confident in my local options, and after a lot of research, I found Dr. Franco through Bliss, which connects patients with vetted and highly reputable plastic surgeons. I immediately felt I made the right choice. My pre-op appointment was smooth and efficient. I arrived a few minutes early, and they brought me back almost immediately. Dr. Franco walked me through everything step by step, answered all of my questions, and made sure I fully understood the process. On the day of surgery, even though I was anxious, I felt completely taken care of. The entire team from the nurses to the nurse anesthetist to Dr. Franco himself , made me feel safe and supported. They were warm, professional, and attentive. I'm currently one day post-op, and everything is going great. The results already look promising, and I'm excited to see how everything continues to heal. I'll update later in my recovery, but so far I couldn't ask for a better experience. If you're considering surgery and want a surgeon who is skilled, thorough, and genuinely cares about his patients, I highly recommend Dr. Franco and the team at Austin Plastic Surgeon.
