I have wanted a breast reduction for the last 20 years. I have had many consultations, but there was always an issue with Insurance or timing. I believe now that was truly divine intervention so that I could meet Dr. Mosier and have him perform my surgery. I went from a G to a B and they look AMAZING. Truly they almost look fake and I still can't believe these are what I get to have now. I have spent my entire life hating my large chest and am finally free. My back pain is gone, clothes fit me, I don't have to wear seven bras to workout, truly it's incredible. I wish I would've done this sooner, but then it probably wouldn't have been with Dr. Mosier. From the very first appointment where I almost cried, he was so kind and so was his entire office staff. They are truly the best. So kind, so understanding and answered ALL of my 1000 questions. Then finally came surgery day which I was so nervous for. PIECE OF CAKE. I've had two children and this was one billion times easier than giving birth and recovery. I guess I should have expected that, but I've never had surgery so didn't know. I cannot believe how easy recovery was and how quick. Dr. Mosier repeatedly assured me before I left that if I had any issues, they would be there for me and would be easy to get ahold of and so responsive, and they were. He even talked directly to my husband after hours one night when I was concerned about an off looking suture (it was fine, I'm just anxious.) Truly, Dr. Mosier was so kind, supportive, and so TALENTED. I don't know that I had the highest expectations, not because of Dr. Mosier, but just because I felt like what I was working with before was so bad. And WOW. When I tell you they look FAKE they're so good. Every post-op everyone again was so kind and Erika is the sweetest person in the world and would talk me through every little detail and every question I had. I would do this whole process again in a heartbeat. To have such an AMAZING visual outcome was life changing, but to have it with such a wonderful doctor and equally wonderful office staff was also just such a pleasant experience. THANK YOU DR. M! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend David Mosier. I am not sure whether to give 1 or 2 stars as he and his office staff are both cordial and very professional. My experience with this practice started 3 years ago. I went in for a reduction and replacement of my implants. After 3 surgeries and almost $13,000, I have 1 breast that is a solid 1 inch lower than the other. It's not just lower, it feels different in my bra. As if it's falling out. It is depressing every, single day. My last surgery, which was an attempt to fix this problem, was just this past April (2024). I was never provided with an explanation as to what went wrong during this entire time. I followed post surgery instructions to a T. If I had to guess, it would be that the time frame given to resume activities, such as pushups, was way too early. I can only imagine what I will look like in 5 years. read more

Let me start off by providing a bit of background info about my perspective which may help. I come from a family of physicians (except myself), so I am well aware of the quality of care one would expect/hope for (and many times not receive) from a physician. I am highly critical of the quality of care, especially since I moved from an area that had a greater number of top notch physicians. Since I moved to Texas, particularly Austin, I have found it hard to find a physician who meets my expectations (whether it be quality of care, bedside manner, post-operative care, staff at the office, etc.), but Dr. Mosier and his office exceeds every single one of my expectations, hands down. Let me break my review down by category. First, I had a breast reduction and lift. It is a MAJOR surgery, and I had consultations with 3 other physicians over a year period to determine who to see for this. The other 3 physicians did not take insurance, but more importantly, did NOT agree to provide post-operative care after surgery except by having patients meet with their nurse or PA. The surgeons said they do not see their patients post-op except for 2 weeks after surgery, 6m, and a year. That is ABSURD! Dr. Mosier sees you personally. Yep - he sees you. He is meticulous about everything. He is a no-nonsense kind of person, who sets expectations on pre-op/post-op, sees you consistently post-op to ensure everything is healing correctly and on track, and is extremely personable. He doesn't pawn you off on an NP or PA. He sees you himself. His patient care level exceeds any other physician I have seen in Austin (and I have been here 20 years). You just don't find practices like this around anymore. His office staff is also wonderful. When you call, you talk with an actual human being! You aren't put on hold for hours or asked to leave voicemails. It is a very small office, and the women who work there are truly on top of things. Erika, Dr. Mosier's assistant, is super. She is responsive to questions, she will email as well, and when in doubt, she asks Dr. Mosier and he gets back to you ASAP. I rave about this practice and Dr. Mosier because this was truly the best surgical experience I have had. And, the appointments are on time! You are not waiting in the office for an hour to be seen. If insurance didn't cover my surgery (it did), I was ready to pay for it because Dr. Mosier's skillset cannot be matched. I would highly recommend Dr. Mosier and this specific practice for ANY plastic surgery need someone has. I am only 6 weeks out, I feel fantastic, I look fantastic, and my scars are healing wonderfully. *I will say, if insurance pays for it, take up the ability to stay overnight in the surgical center. They were fantastic as well, and they take care of you throughout the night after surgery. read more

Did not have surgery but did go in for a consultation but felt awkward and left the office more questions than I went in for. I had a consult regarding a revision and explain to the scheduler about my previous surgery and what was done so she scheduled a date. When I get to the day of my consult the nurse brought me in I explained to her in detail again what I was looking for and what I would like to achieve. Then finally Dr moiser comes in the office and explain for a third time what was previously done and what I would like to achieve, they had me put on a robe and Dr Moser analyzed my me and then after analyzing tells me no he does not do the procedure i requested. This was a little weird to me because I repeated this three times to staff and I don't understand why I had to undress and display my private area just so he can tell me he does not do such n such. What was the whole point of getting undressed and why doesn't the nurse know that the doctor does not do this procedure?? Please ask detail questions and before you display your private parts make sure this is something they do. I give two stars because everyone was really nice and it was a clean office but that was a little weird to me especially I was asked to undress when they know good and well the procedure is not done in this office. read more

I recently had a breast reduction done with Dr. Mosier. I have absolutely no complaints. I had large, pendulous breasts that caused me a lot of pain. I wasn't really sure what size I wanted to go but gave an approximate description and just sort of told him to do what felt right. The results actually exceeded my expectations. I was minimally bruised-- even under my armpits where he liposuctioned me. I can't even get my eyebrows to look the same and homie really managed to make my titties look the same?? Let me just start off this review with saying I had a terrible experience with Dr. David Mosier. I DO NOT recommend him in the least bit. I came to him wanting to have some surgery work done. He put in a claim and then told me that the insurance was asking for some more scans and work to be done. So I went took and time off of work and got these very expensive scans done. When I had the results I came back to him and he straight up told me "No we are not going to be putting in the claim for you any more." A total JERK move on his part after I had spent all this money and taken all this time to get these done as he had told me to do. It wasn't until I protested that his assistant finally agreed to send in the scans to the insurance company. But, apparently they were asking for more information that he FAILED to provide to them because he was way too lazy and selfish and basically got me denied for failing to provide the necessary documents with them so that I would have to pay out of pocket. When I asked him what the out of pocket costs would be he quoted me an exorbitant amount of money. I then counter-offered with a lesser, more reasonable amount and he told me he was severing our doctor-patient relationship and could not see me. I am in worse shape now then when I walked into his office. I still didn't get the work done that needed to be done and now my credit and finances are ruined a little more. I wasted money, time off work, etc and landed in a worst place then when I stepped into that office. What is my advice to you? Walk away from this BLACK HOLE before your life and finances get messed up! read more

They took every precaution to make sure the office was clean and the patients were safe. That was the first thing that I loved! Then, the staff was extremely nice and helpful! I have been wanting a breast augmentation for quite some time now, but by the time I really felt ready COVID-19 hit and most offices were closed. I took the time to do research on surgeons in the area and even going out further out in Texas. Let me tell you there were NO photos at any other surgeons that compared to Dr. Mosier. He really does great work. Offices started opening in May but Dr. Mosier's office didn't open for about a week and while I got impatient, I am so so glad I waited and didn't go anywhere else. My entire experience here was absolutely AMAZING. From the first visit they were very making sure I felt safe with screening, sanitation and mask requirements. They take you into the room for the doctor immediately and I don't think I ever waited for the doctor for more than 3 minutes. I am a pretty shy person, especially taking my top off in front of someone else lol! But he and his staff really have a way of making you feel comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and so experienced, I ended up booking my surgery right away. Surgery was easy, I recovered very fast and I am in LOVE with the end results!!! So I'm making my very first Yelp review because I HAVE to gush about my new nose from Dr. Mosier, it's perfect! I was hesitant because I hadn't heard of him and was originally going to go to one of the flashier doctors, but I am so glad I decided to do a consultation with him. I now know he only works based on referrals so that is why I hadn't heard of him prior to my moms friend recommending him. I'll start from the beginning.. I booked my consultation about a month out - it was free - and met with Dr. Mosier in early January. His office is clean and nice and the girls working there are sweet and unbelievably efficient. Dr. Mosier listened to everything I wanted and gave me realistic expectations for my nose as opposed to the other doctors who had more of the attitude of "sure sure, whatever you want" which made me appreciate Dr. Mosiers honesty and trust him more as a surgeon. The surgery- not going to lie, it was uncomfortable! I had my bump shaved off the profile of my nose and my round tip slightly defined. I went in for surgery in mid February. The healing process went quickly though and I was in Dr. Mosiers office every week checking up, he was patient with all of my questions and concerns. My bruising was minimal and I could feel myself healing quickly; I know that's because I was in the hands of a skilled surgeon. Fast forward now to early April and my nose is so cute! I can't stop looking at it still. I'm still having follow ups with Dr. Mosier which I appreciate because I would feel odd having two check ups post surgery and being sent off into the world with this still healing nose.
