I want to share my experience so other patients, especially transgender patients and domestic violence survivors, can make informed decisions. After my nose was broken in an abusive incident, I contacted Dr. Weinfeld's office for a revision consultation. The first nurse was kind and said they could get me in quickly. When my financial situation improved a couple weeks later, I reached out again and explained the urgency. Another nurse then reviewed my message and told me they no longer wanted to take me on as a patient. This was very distressing, especially as someone reaching out for help after trauma. When I called to clarify, I received scripted, dismissive responses and no willingness to reconsider. I'm posting this so others know how the staff handled my situation. I went in for the "skinny shot" one of the nurses helped me understand what it was about, I went in weighing 193lbs I am 4'11 so believe me when I say I couldn't even breath lol, but anyways I decided to go with tirzepatide/b12/glycerin compound and at first it was $250 then after two months or so it went up to $320 and now it's $400 and I have not decided to go up the dosage because the 3.8 works very well for me, I am now 159lbs and my goal is 125lbs. so I'm not sure if they're gonna keep raising the prices of it but if they do i am gonna have to stop using them and go somewhere else, i would hate to do this because i am planning on getting other procedures with them and if the prices are like these for other things i rather just not. I definitely made a great choice when I picked Dr. Arrendondo as my surgeon for a breast lift and augmentation. Initially I picked a smaller implant since my whole life I was annoyed at having bigger breasts. The surgery and recovery went great, but my implants did not drop as expected. I finally received an email response after playing phone tag. The response made me feel uncomfortable, which is ironic considering he's listed as the "HR Director". I shouldn't have to interrupt evenings and family time to talk after hours when he could easily pick up the phone during work hours or respond to email. The below is such a gaslit email. It just further proved how much I don't want to do business with them any longer:: "I don't know if you got my message several weeks ago to call me after hours (7 p.m.) so that we could visit. I know the vendor and their programmers are working out system errors. I hope the system errors have all been resolved. I had my 2 week post op visit this week. I found myself very nervous since I was also to be having drains removed. I communicated my feelings to Lauren and she was so reassuring and obviously competent that I trusted her immediately. She explained everything before it was done and before I knew it, it was done. Jenna recently did RHA filler on my lips. It's one cost for the filler, but she broke it into two appointments to make sure it didn't migrate and came out exactly how I wanted. That's more time spent from her with no extra cost, I've never had someone do that. Also with doing the filler, I've never had someone spend more than like 15 minutes on my lips, she really spent time on them to make sure it was proportional and fit to my face. She listens so well and really takes her time to understand and give you perfect results. I went in today for some more filler and she suggested I come back in two weeks so they have more time to heal. She could have easily taken my money then and given me 50% effort and not perfect results instead of 100%. I absolutely appreciate her and my lips have never looked better! This type of filler has been the longest lasting and best results on me and I never even heard of it until her. Highly recommend Jenna! Also from my very first visit the front of the house staff has been so so extremely friendly. They are all excited for you to feel more confident and make you feel really welcome and happy to be there, especially Val. They are never are too busy to kindly greet you, look you in the eyes, and welcome you with a smile and kind word, even though they are always actually very busy. This, to me, is so important, especially in a vulnerable place like a plastic surgeons office. Even if I loved a doctor, an unwelcoming reception area would have me go to another place but that's definitely not the case here. I recently had a breast and bra-line lift with Dr. Chris Micallef of Austin Plastic Surgeon and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and with the results. I expected nothing less than an amazing result as that had been my experience with a previous surgery (tummy tuck with 360 degree liposuction) that I had with Dr. Micallef. That I am a return patient speaks volumes about the quality of his work. He is as much artist as he is surgeon. From the initial consultation thru aftercare, Dr. Micallef was always approachable, available, and concerned for my wellbeing. This was particularly important to me as I am considerably older than the average patient. I had a consultation scheduled for June. I was called in March and told surgery spots in May had just happened to open up, but I had to pay 1k before my consultation to hold it. After I paid there was no communication with office staff besides for a messenger system. No one helped me with financing or what next steps were. I finally got a virtual consultation with Dr.Franco because he didn't have availabilty to meet me in person & it was 5 minutes long. He didn't explain the surgery at all. The entire place is sketchy. I wouldn't meet the surgeon until my pre-opt visit? A legitimate place will have a surgeon who sits down with you & explains every aspect of the surgery. There should also be a patient coordinator to go over your estimate and answer any remaining questions. They didn't ask pretty important questions about my medical history. if you are looking for a high quality plastic surgeon's office, then this is not the office for you. The parking lot is super small as is the waiting room. The amount of clients booked does not meet the seating for the waiting room. The door to the rest room is dirty and needs a fresh coat of paint as does the wall by the receptionist desk. There are three employees who will greet youbehind the desk, however, they are so busy conversing with each other, that following up to ensure you are taken care of with your scheduled appointment time is not a priority. Also, if the company policy is a non refundable $250 consult fee, I expect to be see on time, especially when I am early for my appointment. if this is a reflection of the business there is no way I would give a doctor at this place of business well over $20,000. Can you imagine coming into this environment for your check up after surgery. When I expressed my concern, the male at the front desk rolled his eyes at me. For the amount of money plastic surgery cost, these surgeons need and should expect better. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Dr Franco and his staff lied to me. His staff lies and he co-signs the lies and brushes the mistakes under the rug!! He canceled my surgery less then 30 days before the date I was promised!! And all because I caught them in a terrible lie due to a estimate that was given to me at my fist conflict and then being changed at the last minute to cover up some mistakes. Making it obvious by creating a new estimate yet leaving the same date. He was dishonest with me by telling me the patient care coordinator that made the mistake wasn't there due to her having to be out for a while for covid reasons. It was brought to my attention by someone that works there, that that was a lie and I won't speak much on this because I'm not going to risk someone's job just because they didn't agree with what was happening and being honest to me. When I confronted him with the lie and also beginning up yet again the issues I had at his practice he got offended and told me he would not be doing the surgery on me anymore!! That was his way of resolving how horrible his staff is at communicating and at lying by taking my payment on Tuesday yet now changing his mind for no legitimate reason just because he knows his staff is incompetent at keeping up with the patients and doesn't want to deal with me just in case. He said he was worried I would get upset if they didn't reply to my messages if I had a emergency after getting out of surgery and recovering!! It was going to be a problem for them for me to want a quick response and attention if I came across issues!! I mean who says that?? If not a Dr who does not care about his patients only the money and takes his staffs side as to even give his patients the time of day. They wasted 7 months of my life with hopes and a promise to do my surgery and that task was way out of Francos reach!! It was too much for him to handle and he rather turn patients away then to simply apologize resolve the issues that may arise and to carry on. He will not admit they are wrong and I never for a apology from his staff. They lied to me and didn't fall thru with their word so please be careful and don't waste your time here make sure you have a backup plan and you document everything and get it all in writing!! And most def make sure you don't let Linsey Mays handle your progress for the paper work. Everyone says she's is the worst at communicating there. They are too distracted being on social media. If they put the same effort and energy in to their patients as they do there, they would be able to keep up with their patients and not make so many mistakes!! This is all a blessing in disguise because he has botched people before for what I see, and someone I know had a revision done after a tummy tuck so thank you for the favor Austin Plastic Surgeons!! You might of had taken away a surgery but you didn't away my integrity and my pride. Remember being honest and caring and kind doesn't cost a thing. I hate to have to share my story but I would hate for the same thing to happen to someone else and gave their time wasted. I don't regret speaking up for myself and bringing issues to his attention. I am one month post op BBL & had the best experience with Dr. Franco. He is very realistic about your results you can expect. He is honest in recommending procedures to his patients: I am 5'3" 155 lbs. I did liposuction of my arms, back, flank, abdomen and transfer to buttock/hips. I also added on Jplasma to the same areas. I had a few "problem" areas I specifically wanted addressed that we discussed at my pre op. (Excess fat to my flanks, uneven areas to my abdomen) and he exceeded my expectations.
