I flew in from Denver because I didn't feel confident in my local options, and after a lot of research, I found Dr. Franco through Bliss, which connects patients with vetted and highly reputable plastic surgeons. I immediately felt I made the right choice. My pre-op appointment was smooth and efficient. I arrived a few minutes early, and they brought me back almost immediately. Dr. Franco walked me through everything step by step, answered all of my questions, and made sure I fully understood the process. After my nose was broken in an abusive incident, I contacted Dr. Weinfeld's office for a revision consultation. The first nurse was kind and said they could get me in quickly. When my financial situation improved a couple weeks later, I reached out again and explained the urgency. Another nurse then reviewed my message and told me they no longer wanted to take me on as a patient. This was very distressing, especially as someone reaching out for help after trauma. When I called to clarify, I received scripted, dismissive responses and no willingness to reconsider. I'm posting this so others know how the staff handled my situation. They apologized for the error, however did not offer any compensation for their prescription mistake leaving me to bear the cost of their error. I've never had either of these issue happen before.
