Well where do I start .. I got a BBL February of 2023. By May of 2023 I was in the hospital 3 different times in the month of May into beginning of June to figure out WHAT THE FUCK dr charepoo infected me with .. turns out he gave me a flesh eatting bacteria called myco bacterium abscesses & I had to be on antibiotics for 6 months!!!!!.. it only happens in about 1% of surgeries & is ONLY due to cross contamination. Needles to say I was left with a HUGE ass scar over my ass cheek & they are two different sizes .. now I need to figure out how tf I'm going to fix all this so I can feel confident again. Please do NOT ever spend your money here. This could have taken my life from straight up negligence on Dr charepoos behalf. read more

I had a Lipo 360/ BBL Procedure done on Nov 27, 2023. My surgeon was Dr Kashyap. I have to say that I read all of the reviews I could find for this location before I decided to book my surgery. I am very pleased to say that I did not experience ANY of the problems that were described in the other reviews. My first contact was through the website...,I got an immediate response call to answer any questions I had. I was sent an email with instructions on how to take and submit the photos that were required for the surgeon to review and give suggestions. A few days later I received a call from a surgical coordinator to set up my surgery appointment. As soon as I paid my deposit I was sent an invoice with a complete breakdown of every single charge. There was no extra charges or hidden fees. She stayed on the line with me while she helped me set up and log into my patient portal account. All of the requirements were there on a checklist, and any paperwork was available for download and print. I honestly don't understand how anyone could be confused about the specific instructions that were given on the patient portal. As the surgery date got closer, I continued to get phone calls checking my progress, continually checking my BMI, and my paperwork that needed to be turned in. I paid several payments personally and then in the end I ended up choosing a financing option to finish it off, so that I was ready before surgery. My surgery happened to fall the week after Thanksgiving, so any pre-surgical appointments that I had were not able to be scheduled due to a holiday. In order to remedy the situation, my surgery was scheduled on a Monday, but they had me come in for my pre-surgical appointment and drug screens and everything earlier in the day before my surgery time. Literally every person that I met at the front desk, the staff, the anesthesiologist, and the surgeon were all very helpful and very welcoming and very kind. I didn't meet my surgeon until about 30 minutes before my surgery was ready to start, however he had excellent bedside manner very kind and very sympathetic to any phobias or anxiety that I had, and explained everything in great detail, and was very very kind, he spent actually quite a bit of time with me, explaining and marking me. Once they had my IVs in and I was all marked up and ready to go, they walked me into the surgery room and once I was comfortable, I honestly don't remember anything until I woke up and was ready to get in the vehicle to go to my destination for recovery. I had a post surgical appointment 12 hours after my surgery was finished so I went back the next morning at 7:30 AM for my first lymphatic massage and my first post surgical appointment. The girls at the front desk were very kind and welcoming in the morning. All of the staff was wonderful and the Massage Therapist was very patient and very gentle with me. It actually didn't hurt the first time, and I was very impressed. I also saw my doctor and he was also very kind answering any questions, very complementary explained all kinds of details that I needed to know, and was very informative and available to me so that was wonderful. I had another lymphatic drainage. Massage the next day, which was my second massage. Then I came back the following Friday for my third and final massage and then my second postop appointment. I have received three phone calls after my surgery during my recovery to check on me and make sure that everything is OK and answer any questions that I have. I still have a follow up appointment at four weeks and the last at three months. Overall, I would say that I am very pleased with the staff, very pleased with the process and exceedingly pleased with my surgeon and my results I would highly recommend my surgeon and I would highly recommend this office. read more

First of all this place can be very deceiving. Do not be fooled by the social media posts of "post op" patients that show no body damage. This place seems to intentionally hide what these patients actually come out looking like. Its absurd that you do not meet your actual surgeon until about 15 minutes before your surgery! What!? So then you're kind of stuck because you want the surgery that you paid a lot of money for, have been waiting for and you don't want back out even if they suggest something you don't like. Most of the staff working here is okay, a couple are really empathetic and the rest give off a weird, "i hate this job" vibe. Scheduling an appointments is a mess, one person says one thing and then another person says another, so be sure you get names of the people you speak to! For example My partner was rescheduled twice for massages even though she pre-paid for 3 and scheduled them all at the same time. Today, she was told she missed her 0800am appointment and when she arrives, would have to wait a minimum of an hour, which is crazy because the drive is almost an hour just to get to the facility. Then when she arrived back home since she "missed" her appointment she received a call from Doris asking what her ETA was for her 0930am scheduled appointment and she was confused because on the way to her appointment she was told she missed her appointment?!? So she's decided to get her lymphatic massages elsewhere. This place also highly misrepresents how harsh these surgeries really are and they "can't" do anything if the medication prescribed after surgery doesn't help with your pain, they also don't tell you how much after care is really needed until AFTER your procedure which is sad because some of these people aren't prepared for and some might not be able to afford it. I believe for the amount of money paid, you shouldn't have to pay for the Fajas, and there should be massages included that's just MY opinion. Something else I find weird is they don't even walk you out of the front door after surgery, they walk you out of a back door into an alley next to a dominoes to be picked up ‍ It's crazy how greedy these facilities can be and you just don't realize it until after. The facility is also not regularly maintained which is something else that is scary about this place. Just in the lobby I counted at least 4 ceiling fixtures that were noticeably broken and there are blood stains on the lobby seats from patients. The patient room seats and beds are outdated compared the facility appearance and there is noticeable outdated equipment in the facility. Next time we will definitely pay the extra money to get better treatment with Dr. Johnny Franco @ Austin Plastic Surgeon. Go see him, their team is wonderful! read more

I was so excited to book with Dr Charepoo after seeing his before and afters and reviews! Everything was great until I had to speak with the surgical coordinator, by her responds and tone I could tell she was so annoyed every time I would ask a question. Not only was she so unwelcoming but she was also giving me wrong information and refused to honor a promotion that is on Dr charepoo s page and is still promoting. I had to find another Dr for the surgery I want after she told me she would be in the surgery room during the procedure. What a great experience with Dr. Kashyap! He is completely honest about the outcome you will receive and doesn't sell you dreams. He makes you feel comfortable and makes sure all questions are answered before they put you under. I lost over 100 pounds and due to loose skin, I had a tummy tuck on Monday! They removed 4600 cc's. The wait time and pre-op probably lasted 20-30 minutes and DOOM I was on the table. I have had minimum pain (even without the pain pills) and no complications! Yes, communication throughout the process wasn't the best but I was always able to press 1 in order to get a call back while keeping my place in line! It never took more than 15 minutes for the callback. My massage was painless which was surprising because I knew for a fact it would be painful. The only complaint I have is that my drain is through the top of my vagina (which is where a lot of surgeons place them, especially if the vagina was lifted during the procedure WHICH IS A PLUS WITH THE TUMMY TUCK ) and I'm very sensitive when it comes to my goodies being messed with. It doesn't hurt but I'm paranoid and the thought of me accidentally pulling it makes me wanna faint. My final post op appointment is tomorrow. I'm excited and ready to see what my final results will look like! Please take all the reviews with a grain of salt. Everyone's experience is different. I am writing this review which I never do unless I am REALLY FRUSTRATED OR REALLY HAPPY! I am REALLY FRUSTRATED ! I have been trying to book and pay my down payment for surgery for last 2 days. I want 2 procedures. All I wanted was to pay the proper amount to the proper doctor. This was not obtainable. I regret that because I was really looking forward to meeting with Dr Charepoo and working with him to meet my body surgery goals. I love his before and afters and feel that it would have been a good fit. I kept receiving invoices with the wrong amount and even the wrong doctor. Yes I had changed doctors due to scheduling on the doctors part. But a Surgical CORDINATOR should be able to keep up . Especially if she is floating out money numbers and estimates! I received wrong numbers for what I thought was Dr Charepoo? However another staff member pointed out it was the wrong doctor and wrong location!! This is all I want/ed... Two procedures With 10% off This is what is advertised see the video below . Doesn't exclude anything! The CORDINATOR would not honor this . She would only give 10% off on 1 procedure . When I asked her to reduce the second procedure 10% she said that is 20% ? What? No it's 10% off two procedures. Then she changed the name of the second procedure to an add on . No It's a different area, different procedure . I even looked up what qualifies as a procedure . I kept trying to communicate with her but she would not reply. I found out her shift was over . Today tried again to resolve the matter and explain to them this is what is advertised. She said the sale is over I didn't buy yesterday. Are you kidding? I asked her why would I pay for the wrong amount of money to the wrong doctor? I have tried other numbers . Keep getting routed back to her . Even though they have clinic numbers listed you can't get beyond the call center to resolve anything. Obviously I don't believe Dr Charepoo knows anything about this? I can't get any information and no one will call me back regarding my visit. Gena the surgical coordinator keeps emailing me about a freakin BBL. That's not what I came to consult about. The team in Austin is unprepared unprofessional. I told the nurse I was allergic to penicillin and she prescribed me penicillin. When I took my pre op pics I disrobed and the nurse sat there in the room and watched me get undressed. The day I show up to surgery, there was 10 t0 12 women in the lobby all had their surgery and one was bleeding and dropping fluids on the floor! She said she was feeling faint and NO ONE went to assist her. Needless to say, I high tailed it out of there. I called to speak with a supervisor and he kept calling me Ms. Jackson that would've been okay except my last name is Jones! I was appalled at the treatment and unprofessionalism. This place is a joke! Please do your research on the location and practices before booking. You do not meet the surgeon until the day of your surgery. Literally minutes before. On the day of preop, it's only medical assistants who can't answer any questions and they all seem to have an annoyed attitude. They overbook patients on surgery days. This is an extremely dangerous practice for any surgeon as many of these procedures are tideous for any doctor. I had my surgery appointment at 2pm, I arrived and was taken to the back. The lady taking my vitals and asking questions had a bad attitude. The room was not clean there were hairs on the seat and on the floor. At 3pm I was still in the back waiting room and I asked what time my surgery would start since my appointment was at 2pm. Come to find out, the surgeon was still in the OR with another patient and there was another one still ahead of me. At that rate my operation was going to be at 7pm. I was told not to eat or drink anything past 9pm the previous night so I had already gone 17 hours without anything not even water!!! I had a horrible headache from lack of fluids. I ended up leaving because I did not want to be the last patient after a busy day for the doctor. Please reconsider when choosing a place. These are major surgeries and should not be taken lightly. Zero STARS!! This is a chop shop. They never show your initial photos to the surgeon. They cancel your appointment & reschedule it after you've paid hotels & lost work time; the morning of the surgery doctor walks in & totally looks lost & annoyed &!like it's the 1st time he's ever heard of you. Give you bad criticism about your body. He can't do this, it's not gonna look like the way you expect. But marks you non-stop; I wanted to RUN ! But I had paid thousands & sucked it up in silence. They operated me & woke my groggy ass up. And proceeded to throw me out the back door - where all their biohazard red trash bins are while I was BUTT NAKED & Crosseyed Drugged!! I was so weak & couldn't even talk my throat hurt! My ass was exposed and they had a puppy pad to cover nothing of my butt or vagina - which I couldn't hang on too! She Threw my clothes to my husband & walked back inside. I have hated they lack of communication their poor bedside manner, the ignorance of the uninformed doctor : Kashyap & the way they dumped me outside! Hello All here's my update after getting my surgery rescheduled. This time around they didn't even check my blood pressure, so they went through with the surgery. Seen the doctor that day for my lift and augmentation. The ladies in the recovering room were super nice. After a week I went in and spoke about my concerns which my husband also pointed out to me. One side was bigger then the other and my Areola was also bigger then the other and cut not round. He Disney use the cookie cutter for my Areola so they can be the same size. Long story short that doctor is no longer working at Mia and he denied fixing the issues when he said he would and I have it all recorded. I going to another doctor to fix my my breast and get other surgery done. BEWARE just because it's cheaper doesn't mean they are good. I found a better independent doctor and his prices are as good. I don't understand the negative reviews on customer service. I give them a 5-star rating! I've never had any issues getting through to MIA via email or phone. The moment I sent photos for review and paid my deposit, there was constant communication with instructions and updates. I even got confirmation from the lab department after they received my blood test results and medical clearance. To add, when I emailed Perla Guerrero, she replied the same day! I am having Lipo360 on 8/30/22 and will give an update on pre-op and the actual surgery. My surgeon is Dr. Shararah. My advice, write down questions on anything these reviews are concerning you about. I read you don't see the doctor during pre-op, so I asked, and they confirmed you don't see the doctor till the day of your surgery. They were honest. read more

Scheduled a surgery a year out did everything they recommended booked flights, hotels etc. spent over $10k and the morning of my appointment they said they could not operate b/c one of my daily medications was still in my system after they told me it would be out of my system in 2 months and after further research it's takes 3-4 months to clear. The entire experience leading up was terrible and unprofessional and they are totally misinformed abs wasted my time and money. Completely do not recommend using them. These guys are totally RED FLAG SCAMMERS! Their owners deserve to be thrown behind bars for their elaborate scheme of tricking people who dream of having a beautiful body. It all started with them canceling my appointment because my coordinator messed up and put another patient in my slot, lol. Can you believe it? I had already paid for it, and they didn't bother warning me or refunding my hard-earned money, even though I had to take time off from work. I'm kicking myself for not checking the reviews before splurging so much money. The surgery itself lasted just a little over an hour, and they didn't provide any care instructions. They just sent me home to fend for myself - sick, tortured, and utterly exhausted. Thank goodness my boyfriend was there to pick me up because I was in such a terrible state, words can't even describe it. I felt like I was practically dripping with blood from holes on my back, and when I walked through like almost crying of pain they just said me nothing. They even don't help me to go to my bf's car. And when I realized that they fraud me. It's insane how all the negative reviews here matched my own experience to a tee. This place couldn't care less about their patients. Hellllooooo, I give you my money, isn't I should have maybe a little amount of respect? Or you respects me only when I am paying, but not after surgery done? just now Let me tell you ladies who are deciding to go with MIA, why they jumped from a 2 star rating to a 4 star rating... When you go in for preop they bribe you with FREE CBD items to give them a good rating! I got a HUGE free bottle of CBD by providing a good rating, but all thay changes. Do NOT trust this place. I believe the surgeons are legit and good, but the staff don't give a F*** about you! I followed all the rules on my contract and did everything needed without complications. I went in for the day of surgery and waited 5 hrs to finally go back, the doctor saw me, drew on my stomach and I was about to get an IV by the anesthesiologist when they came in and cancelled my surgery! I was SO UPSET and thats an understatement. I cried and cried and begged. I failed for a medication I was told the ENTIRE time would be okay, it was never listed on the medications to avoid, and I was told "they will measure sure to add it so nobody else falls victim to this"... They eventually told me if I get them note from a doctor stating the doctor would manage my pain after surgery then they would do my surgery. So that's exactly what I did, my mom who works for pain management wrote a letter to them stating I will come in. Then I get the call, they "didn't feel comfortable doing my surgery and I need to find somewhere else"--- thanks LVN Brenda.. no sympathy, no im sorry, no you can get your money back, nothing. All them girls in thay office could CARR LESS about your or your safety. I cant say the same about the doctors, but they really need a better staff who's more professional. This was DEVASTATING for me. Especially after I dropped 350 on a hotel and a bunch of other money on labs and a deposit, just for them to cancel me over a medication they said would be okay to take and because they "forgot" to list it.
