I did not get in to see anyone for a consult. I waited for 45 minutes after my official appointment time. I walked up to the desk to ask about my appointment because other people came into the office and were called back. The front desk manager was very nice and apologized and explained that they only had one person to see people today and asked if I wouldn't mind waiting about 15 more minutes. I walked away and came back after about 5 more minutes and said that I would reschedule at a later date if I decided to. However, it is very concerning that the business is being run with such disrespect of other people's time. Either they should not schedule that many appointments or they should call their appointments to let them know they are running considerably late. I completed my consultation with Yvonne in the Waco location. She was very informative and explained the process. She listened to my request and I feel was very honest. She even shared with me her personal experience with the same procedure I am having to include before and after photos. Very impressive!!! She said multiple times that I will not have a flat smooth stomach after the lipo and tummy tuck. I assured her that was not my expectation. I just want my clothes to fit nicely. I am 59 years old and showing off my belly isn't something I will be doing They charge per area and when I suggested we add my upper arms to the list Yvonne said I would not be happy as the skin will sag and I will have scars. She said I could speak with the surgeon for his opinion. I know she is in sales and her bonuses are most likely rated according to the full sale she completes. So with this being said it spoke volumes that she was honest about the arm request knowing it would cut into her commission. I am scheduling my procedure in a couple of days and am so excited to have this work done. I've wanted it for 30 plus years. Pricing is reasonable and payment options are available. This review is long overdue, but wanted to wait a full year to give my full experience. I went in skeptical, I read reviews, and after all, this is a chain of liposuction/plastic surgery centers, could there really be caring professionals there who would treat me right? YES! First I met Erin, sweet Erin - she is kind and oh so patient as she helped me through the paperwork to prepare for my consultation. Once the paperwork was done I met with Bailey. The best word to describe Bailey is AMAZING. I told her what I wanted, one item was my upper arms - she was honest with me and told me I would not have good results and not to waste my money there. Yes, the sales consultant I just met told me this. Bailey did make suggestions based on what I wanted to do. We came to a decision, and yes, I was a bit sticker shocked, but in reality, for everything I wanted done, it really was/is a good deal - not to mention, if anything isn't to my satisfaction, they would correct it. Sign me up! Covid hit and appointments and procedures got pushed back, but finally I met with Dr. Okpaku. I liked him instantly. I also asked him about my upper arms, and he too told me no. I'm trying to give these people more money, but they are putting me and my results first. Now about those results...I have had melanoma twice so the laser procedure that is done some point after recovery was not an option for me. I was clearly told I would have some puckering and scaring. I knew what I was in for and yes, I do have some puckering and scaring, but again it was not a surprise and I told Dr. Okpaku, "I just want to look good in my clothes." Surgery day finally came and it wasn't the most pleasant thing I've ever experienced, but I equate it to childbirth. I know there was pain, but I don't remember it. They keep you comfortable and medicated. The procedures I chose had to be done two weeks apart. Recovery is hard, there is pain, you will wear compression garments. Now I had skin removed so I had some instant results, however, swelling will set in about 4 or 5 days post surgery. It hurts. You will have pain medication and the compression garmets really help. This should not come as a surprise, it is surgery and trauma is being created to your body. The night of my surgeries, Dr. Okpaku personally called and checked on me. In the days that followed I heard from the nursing staff and Bailey making sure I was going ok. Every single person I met during my visits at Sono Bello are extraordinary. For being a "chain" this Austin office is a Family. Given the age of Covid, post op follow up was done mainly by phone, however, I did notice that my left hip seem a tad bit bigger than my right hip. I went in to see Dr. Okpaku at about the 4 month mark and he noted the imbalance, said we had to give it more time, but if it didn't balance out they would fix it. Over the next few months my body started taking shape, and people started noticing a change. I lost a little weight but this surgery reduces inches, not pounds. However, I have tried eating better and exercising more to maintain my results. Over the past year, from time to time, Bailey has checked in on me just to see how I am doing, healing, feeling, and how I feel about the results. She didn't need to do any of this; my check had been cashed. Bailey is truly kind and has integrity. Now let's fast forward to February 2020, about 10 months out. I called Bailey and told her my hips were still unbalanced. I came in and asked if we could fix it now as I wanted to get the major healing done prior to the start of our vacations in April. So yes, I had the corrective surgery on March 1st and no I didn't have to pay for it. They are true to their word. I have seen the bad reviews and everyone will have a different opinion, but I truly believe if you go in with your eyes wide open, listen to what they say (and not what you want to hear), do what they say, and let the healing play out, you will be satisfied. So disappointed in the initial communications just to book a consultation. At first, I expressed my busy schedule with work. Then they said they could work with my schedule. I then asked was there consultation on the weekend because under their email it says "t's your Life. Live it Beautifully 24 HOURS | 7 DAYS A WEEK 1.800.511.6880" Then didn't answer my question about weekend consultation then proceeded to send me a questionnaire. Then I was under the impression that they have weekend consultation. When it come to booking the consultation, I asked again if there were weekend availabilities, they said no, weekdays only. I then expressed how busy my work schedule is and asked for morning availabilities to see if I could ask morning off, she then replied with afternoon and evening availabilities. Brother, do you just not want me to get an appointment, Period? Like what do you mean? This person clearly doesn't read through emails. At this point. I don't even wanna book my appointment with them anymore :( And they didn't wanna give me the address saying they would only give the address after I book the consultation. I was trying to see the distance from my home there and see how long to ask off work for.;-; So disappointing. I filled all the questionnaire and everything. And then after I expressed that I'll pass on the late afternoon apt, she then offered the morning slot at 9am on the same day. So she could have give me the morning slot to begin with?! Like what do you mean?! Why this patient ambassador make it so difficult for me to book and appointment and makes me feel unwelcome.? I think I'm so annoyed by the communications that I don't even wanna go anymore. P.s. this business called me to try to get me scheduled. I appreciate your effort in correcting things, but I had already booked my initial appointment else where. So this tells you how important the initial interaction is with a potential client. Well it has taken me a bit to finally write this review. I felt pressured and suckered into doing smart lipo at the end of year 2019. "Hurry and sign up to get a discount, we have openings next week"... that should have been a BIG RED FLAG!!! I am so disappointed with the outcome of this procedure. I have had 3 pregnancies and never did my stomach have any lumps bumps or stretch marks. After this procedure and thousands spent on Venus treatments my stomach looks disfigured. I expressed my dissatisfaction every time I went in for the Venus treatments. Never did anyone follow up with me. I never saw the doctor again. I am so ashamed and embarrassed to show my stomach. Well.. let me just start off by saying, for a guy to go to this place, I was a little reluctant to give it a go but I had some problem areas that I couldn't get rid of for the life of me. (My belly and my double chin) So I called in for a consultation and quote.. I was consistently about 180-185 lb and never been below 180. I'm already slim to begin with but still needed a little help. So spoke with Bailey their sales person. What an amazing chat. It's like talking to your best friend. She made me feel comfortable enough after seeing pictures of the areas I had issues with. She made me confident that they would be able to take care of it. So I went through it with. Lipo. Day of the surgery met Erin, probably the nicest person you'll ever meet! She kept me calm going through this nervous phase of the surgery and even post visits too. Now the surgery wasn't bad, I don't remember any of it, no anesthesia, just some pills that knocked me out. So make sure you research what they do during lipo because I had no idea lol. The only bad part of lipo is the recovery. That's the sucky part. It was going to be anywhere between 5months to almost a year they told me. So, I'm guessing for a bigger person they would see instant results. Since I wasn't that big, I saw some results but not until I got into this Venus thing. (Yes it cost a little more). It's a way to reduce that time. It's like getting a super hot stone massage. That's the only way I can describe it. My Venus person was Mckayla! (I also met Ryan too which she was awesome too) but What a delight it was having Mckayla as my Venus person. She made the whole thing very comfortable and not awkward. After the Venus, I can really tell the results. I finally finished my Venus on my chin and belly and now my belly is flat and my double chin is completely reduced! I feel so much better and very confident and now I'm at a 171-172lbs which was below my target at 174lbs. I'll update photos soon! If I could do it all again, for me I'd def just do the Venus. If you need to lose a lot of weight then do the lipo and Venus. Thanks ladies! One last thing.. people.. this is not just an instant thing, you're gonna have to eat right (or better) and work out and exercise. I'm not talking crazy but I'm talking about getting off your arses and actually getting back into shape. Drink water (I drink water and now flavored sparkling 0 calories beverages) and don't go and eat McDonald's everyday lol. I started eating beyond burgers whenever I can, I'm pretty active and such too so. I'm just saying, you will need to be active and eat right during recovery and it will speed up. I highly recommend this business. The customer service at this location is superb. I'm always greeted by the friendly, cheery staff and feel like I am well taken care of. Dr. Pittman was awesome during the procedure. I had a great time during surgery since the music she had playing was what I like (80's music). Yes, you are awake during the laser-assisted liposuction, however, the few little pills they have you take beforehand make you feel very little discomfort. There is only one part of the procedure that was uncomfortable and the Doctor let me know I'd feel some pressure ahead of time. It was short and bearable, but I enjoyed the procedure the rest of the time. Recovery the first two days isn't fun, but after that it was relatively easy to get around. I was taking walks that day and then working out (easily) two days after. The only slight downside I have is that I'm trying to get the right Stage 2 outfit. They have been very accommodating with helping me to get what works for me and it only takes 2-3 days to receive each order. My initial order was done perfectly. My two following orders were not completed correctly. I finally got the correct outfit, so I'm set. I suggest getting the one with the thin straps over the thick-strapped one (unless you do your bra roll, then I guess you need that one instead). I've had a great experience here and lost several pounds since my pre-surgery appointment. I'm looking and feeling better. Also, I can eat better much easier than before. Dancing, yoga, and working out are easier without the fat getting in the way! I was losing too much weight too quickly, so took a week to eat more calories to slow weight loss. Now, I'll shift to clean eating and drop pounds in stages to lose it at a reasonable rate to keep it off. Remember to follow the instructions given for the best results. read more

Let me say after months of careful research I finally got the courage to set up a consultation at Sonobello and let me tell you this has been one of the best decisions of my life! Everything from the consultation with the most caring consultation who listened not only to my concerns about the procedure,to explaining everything in great depth- she was very informative ! Then I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Fearmonti at my consultation before the procedure day. At this appointment she helped me understand even further the expectation I should have with the surgery results, went over the minimal downtime involved and was so positive and sweet throughout the visit. I "sought" a mommy make-over several years ago at a local popular plastic surgery center. Now, while they were good, over time and looking back now, I see that they could have been better. I had been unhappy with my results for some time now and when I saw advertisments for Sono Bello I thought I would give the free consultation a go. The staff were so friendly and professional. Aside from the "high fashion" bikini you have to wear, I was made to feel extremely comfortable and not embarrassed in any way. I signed up for laser-assisted liposuction in 3 areas. It took only a 2 weeks wait for the procedure. The pre-op was nothing like I had imagined the previous "sleepless" night before the surgery. I was nervous because this procedure is done while you are awake. But I had little to fear. They give you calming meds prior to the procedure and I was so relaxed. The procedure itself was also nothing like I had imagined. There was no pain whatsoever. It was over in about an hour, although it seemed like only minutes. While I will admit the comfort level afterwards was not pleasant, it was not excruciating either. I was back at work on the 3rd day after surgery. I could see results right away, which is not usually typical. It can take some time to see overall results after the swelling goes down. To sum it up, I am extremely pleased with Sono Bello and it's staff. I really wish now that I had gone to them years ago. I highly recommend them for body contouring. Far from wearing a bikini I don't think I'll ever want to show my abdomen again. I have deep regrets about doing this. I have scoured the internet trying to find images that look like mine and I can't. Essentially I look burned. I am a 42 year old woman who has four grown kids and three grandchildren. I work out four times a week for a hour each time. I've done all the diets (pills, DVDs, etc) and I lost 40 pounds on my own with just exercising and eating properly. First off... I had skin over hang over my c-section from having a child earlier in life. I was super scared because I was considering the Tri-sculpt ex procedure + trisculpt in the same areas. The whole procedure was so easy and fast. I didn't take any painkillers once I was home...& didn't even need them. There is soreness..., but no severe pain..., no real discomfort . I really enjoyed all the nursing staff , Bailey & Dr O. Zena was really awesome on follow up and made this whole journey easy... I'm 48, not sure that I'll ever rock a biikini, nor would I want to... lol! But I do feel and look better in my clothes and my current bathing suit thus far....happy girl! I read some of the other reviews that were negative on here... & it looks like some are looking for a diet program....this is more of help with stubborn out of whack areas....I recommend SB Austin !! Samuel G I believe EVERY word you printed. I went to Sono Bello and thank Heaven mine was not as botched as yours but...I had a huge lump on my right side. Like you, the nurse told me I just wasn't rubbing it enough and it hurt horribly to rub it. I went back a 2nd time and the nurse acted mad and asked if I wanted to see a Doc and I said yes. The Doc who didn't perform my procedure said it was fine and would go away. A month later it was still there, hard and dark blue. I'd rescheduled a follow up procedure to do my sides. The Doc who did my first procedure came in and agreed it was an abscess! He got a scalpel, sliced it and blood came pouring out and looked at the nurse and said we can't do the procedure until the abscess healed up. When I got my 2nd procedure too much was taken out of one side. I'll eventually go to a PROFESSIONAL to have it fixed. Luckily it's not really bad and can be fixed by someone who knows what they're doing!. I seriously think Sono Bello should be shut down. Let me add a respected plastic surgeon who did my eyes and had worked on other friends left Sono Bello after a short time there. I told him I was shocked when they sent out a press release to say he was joining their team and I had called his office to warn him! He said he couldn't believe how the patients were treated and knew he needed to leave. read more
