    Soma Outside Terrace

We sat on the terrace which was absolutely stunning and had the best views of Tulsa. We were served by Saer who was lovely and knowledgeable. The food was very fresh and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend the soup of the day that's served with the tastiest pieces of focaccia. The overall favorite was the tostadas, by far. Saer recommended them and we are glad we listened to her advice!

We came late afternoon on a Saturday and it was not that busy on the outdoor patio but it was a bit breezy so we decided to go inside. Our waitress was very friendly. We ordered a Mezza which is a large round flatbread with a choice of three items off a fairly delicious list of choices. We chose Trout Spread, Tahini Hummus, and Whipped Feta. It was served with a nice side of veggies including carrot slices, pickle slices cucumber slices and Jicama. The portions of trout, whipped feta and hummus were quite large actually and the two of us felt full after finishing that. It was really great. Cocktails are very interesting here. My wife had a Bees Knees which was gin spiced honey and lemon juice. I had a Monkey Island: vodka, gin, rum, orange liqueur and house sour. . You can't beat the views from the rooftop whether you're inside or outside. We love it.

We had out of area guests meeting us for lunch and I wanted to take them somewhere where the food is interesting, service is excellent & the rooftop bar has a cool vibe so naturally I chose Soma! The rooftop bar was closed due to high winds luckily we thought about that in advance and decided to make reservations for inside and we were seated in an excellent corner location in the restaurant, we could see the river as well as the buildings towards downtown. Our waitress Sar (I know that's not how to spell it) was great! She kept us informed because it was interesting being there in high winds, the power actually went out but hey we were still having a great time laughing and visiting! And eventually everyone left except us! The food was terrific and the drinks were as well. Bloody Mary was perfect & the Pino Noir was absolutely perfect with our Sunday brunch menu! I had the smoked Trout while my husband had scrambled eggs, ham, potatoes & fruit!

Beautiful views from both inside and outside seating. Great place to watch sunsets. We were there between lunch and dinner service so we were limited to appetizers only. We had the truffle fries and dumplings. The fries were nicely seasoned and we enjoyed the garlic aïoli dip. The dumplings were very small and not the greatest for $16. Service was friendly, drinks were good and vibe was vibing

Brunch review only. I've had brunch here twice and loved both experiences. If expresso martinis are your thing, you will love them here! Soma knows how to make them smooth (and no, not everyone does!). One hummus starter is fantastic for a group of 2-3; a nice mix of pita and veggies with a classic natural hummus. The Barge is incredible!! It comes with veggie or pork (the pork is delicious and ample!), scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, black beans, greens, pico de gallo, cotija, salsa verde, avocado, and cilantro. It all tasted FRESH and flavorful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern, clean, and bright from natural light. It feels fancy even though you do NOT have to dress fancy. There was a DJ playing nice background music at a volume that did not impact discussion at your table. The rooftop patio is huge and gorgeous, so I'm looking forward to trying it when it's warm one night! Recommend booking a reservation on OpenTable to be safe.

Our waitress was very accommodating and the food was very flavorful. The ambiance is great, especially when the weather is nice.

View-driven restaurants can be a gamble. Too often, the setting outshines the plate. Not so at Soma, where the city unfurls in every direction and the kitchen rises confidently to meet the view. From the start, the staff sets a gracious tone. On our visit, Jimmy managed a suddenly crowded section with ease and genuine warmth, making us feel well cared for throughout the evening. The menu delivers both finesse and comfort. The seared ahi tuna tacos were an undeniable highlight--delicate tortillas cradling ruby-centered tuna, crisp cabbage, a spark of chili, and a bright finish of cilantro. They felt tailor-made for a warm September night. Equally memorable were the costillas: ribs marinated to the point of tenderness, falling effortlessly from the bone, paired with corn relish, charred cabbage, pickled onion, cilantro sauce, and local flour tortillas. Dessert would have been a fitting finale, but time and appetite worked against us. No matter--Soma is the kind of place that invites a return, for both its vistas and its kitchen.

LOVE this outdoor rooftop bar! It's super easy to get to for us coming into town in 244, exiting SW Blvd into 23rd and a left onto Boulder. This is atop The Brut, a sort of bougie small hotel. This whole place is oozing w personality and the view from the rooftop is so awesome! One side you can see the river and other side the green spacious area where various events are held. We went for lunch and they have a brunch menu. I had the Caesar salad but it's a whole different take on that salad! Crispy frie chick peas, a dash of horse radish in the dressing and slightly grilled head of Caesar lettuce, YUM! I actually brought my husband back after my first visit and I ordered the same thing!! Plus the shareable hummus stray that is almost indescribable as it had various tries of radishes and carrots along w the big portion of hummus, and...there were those chickpeas again! So delicious! Def enough to share w a table if 3-4. My husband had the Trout Tostadas, also a shareable and soooo good! He's very much inspired now to do some trout fishing, haha! I'd like to go back for sunset and try the dinner menu. With the chefs they have, I'm sure it would be equally delicious! Oh...I forgot to mention the Parmesan frites The wine was GREAT! I was so excited to have a really good NZ Sauvignon Blanc, Stoneleigh, served very cold as I like it! The service was impeccable! We were there a bit early for the lunch crowd on Tuesday so it wasn't crowded and there's was plenty of seating, even some super comfy couches so... I could make an afternoon of it with or without company, teehee! They have a calendar of events so it might be really enjoyable to experience some musics there. I have to say...even though it's a bit pricey, I do believe that of the rooftop bars I've been exploring so far...this is my fav!! Definitely RECOMMEND

Great atmosphere with the plants hanging from the ceiling! Absolutely love the rooftop bar at sunset. The food is great too. Excited to try the Nomadic Menu in February

    Charcuterie board

Met a girlfriend here for drinks. Nestled on the top floor, so the views are really nice. We shared the charcuterie board, which was good. This is a really cute date night place! Now, the fire alarm did go off briefly while we were there, but that didn't deter us from leaving. Overall, a cute place!

    Lavender Kiss... best thing ever!
    Rosinha A.

At first glance, this penthouse floor restaurant at the Brut Hotel looks clean and pleasant, but once you sit down, the fun has just begun. Service is top-notch. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. Their cocktails are delightful, especially the LAVENDER KISS with dry gin, lemon, cinnamon orange agave and lavender. The Blackberry Garden is good too, but the Lavender Kiss is the best thing ever. Even my friends who aren't gin drinkers loved it. My friends enjoyed amazing breakfasts, but I chose the grilled cheese with fontina and bacon, which was wonderful. The bar and many of the tables have a wonderful view. When weather permits, there is a large pretty area outdoor seating as well. I'll be back... my friends have already beat me to it!

This is the newest rooftop restaurant/bar in Tulsa inside the Brut Hotel. Valet and self parking are available. The elevators were a bit slow and wonky (going down before up to 'R') but we weren't in a hurry. The decor is modern with a chic and minimalistic vibe- very clean and aesthetically pleasing. We made a reservation using Open Table for brunch on a Saturday. Thankfully they weren't very busy so we would've been fine without one. We were immediately greeted by a friendly host and directed to our table. The views are absolutely amazing, especially right now with the Fall colors. I wish they would've asked us where we wanted to sit, to maximize the view, especially since they weren't busy. They sat us in a place where we didn't enjoy the view as fully as other spots around but that's ok, we just walked around to check out the view. There's outside seating on a patio overlooking the south, inside seating overlooking the west and north. There's a bar but we didn't try any drinks this time. When it comes to the menu, it's Tropical Americana, not entirely sure what that means but my hunch is that it's American fusion inspired by Latin food. We had the donut holes with jam and they did not disappoint. I had the chilaquiles in salsa verde with pork - highly recommend. The waiter referred to them as breakfast nachos and that made me chuckle, I never thought of chilaquiles like that but he's kind of right! My friend had the Papa Bruce which was more of a traditional breakfast plate (eggs+sausage+potatoes+toast and fruit). She also enjoyed it. The portions were pretty big and we both needed to go boxes. They didn't have a drink menu but the waiter let us know what our options were. The service was fine but not impressive, definitely still new and in need of a bit more training. Our waiter didn't introduce himself nor ask if we had been there before. He couldn't confidently answer questions about the menu (he did go and ask), forgot refills, little things that would've made our experience extraordinary. Hopefully they'll figure those things out with more time. I can't wait to come back for dinner and drinks!

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern. We started with the Smooth Criminal cocktail and the Pineapple Sangria. Both great. Well balanced, unique ingredients, everything you want in a unique cocktail. We did order the whipped feta appetizer, but unfortunately they were very busy and there was some miscommunication. We didn't get to eat it at the restaurant, but they kindly packaged it for us to take home and we enjoyed it later. Although it was good, it would have been way better fresh. But these things happen, it didn't spoil our brunch. On to the mains: lamb shoulder hash...at brunch? Yes, please!!! Topped with two perfectly poached eggs, and brunch potatoes on the side with a nice crisp salad and fresh bread. The lamb was seasoned to perfection, and melted in my mouth. The biggest surprise for me were the potatoes. Brunch potatoes are usually overly greasy and bland. These were fresh, salted, and had the perfect crispness. I would like to think they are fresh, but even if they're frozen...well done! I would have happily eaten 2-3 of these lamb dishes. The French toast was the second entree. Brown butter and maple foam, on top of a piece of French toast that is the size of a small child. Even with all of the sauce, the toast was still crisp. It was a very heavy dish, some fresh berries with some acidity would be nice to cut through it, but the overall flavor was on point. The wine list is exquisite. If you enjoy good wine, this is the spot for you. Their reserve list has some absolute bangers on it at a very reasonable price. All in all, it was a nice experience. We would happily recommend and return.

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!
