When I went to the salon to show her the disaster that she left she simply wanted to apply a toner or cover the stains with dye. She told me sarcastically if I had a problem that I could get a lawyer. When I exited the salon she began to film me. Through text she called me dramatic and said it was not a big deal. Overall she had a terrible attitude. I will be looking for a legal solution to keep people like this from having a successful business. They will happily charge you a significant amount and then blame any mistakes on the client. read more

REVIEW ABOUT ANNIE TRANG @ Sola Salons in Brea. SUITE 126 This is her instagram handle: annietrangstylist I had initially booked an appointment with Annie due to several family referrals. Their hair turned out amazing and exactly the color I wanted. I was so excited cause I had been on the hunt for a new colorist for 2 years now. My appointment was booked for April but unfortunately due to Covid, it was cancelled. Then, I had rebooked my appointment for Sept 23rd and had received a confirmation email. Mind you, this appointment was booked on June 4th making it 5 months in advance. My birthday is on September 29 which is why I chose that day to get my hair done. Annie texted me one morning asking for a picture of what my hair currently looks like and inspo photos of how I wanted my hair done. We had gone back and forth about achieving a certain color and she asked if I wanted to keep my appointment for sept 23rd. I told her YES, I would still like to keep my appointment and in response, she CANCELLED my appointment. I told her that it was rude and unprofessional to cancel my appointment after it was booked 5 months in advance AND after simply sharing with her how I wanted my hair done. I believe she has her business card on her door if she isn't there. I've gone to her for many many years. She cuts the best bobs and texturizes hair like no one's business. I've never had a problem with her and I am PICKY. The best part is when my hair grows out it looks like another haircut. I literally don't have to cut my hair for 2-3 months cuz it still looks good. It's her texturizing skills I'm telling you! Go see her!!! read more

I won a giveaway on their Instagram. I came in to see Diana Bernal (@diana.bernal.blondes) for a hair treatment. I'm so happy I won because Diana is just the friendliest girl! Loved her energy. I visited Citrine Studio (suite 102) during COVID-19 so they took extra precautions to keep everyone safe. Temperatures checked at the door, they had me wash my hands upon arrival and we wore our masks the entire time. Their studio is one of the larger ones so there was 2 stylists and 2 clients and we had lots of distance apart. **** DON'T go to Verona at Sola Salon Studios 124 *** I just read her reviews and decided this hair salon. I called for make an appointment 7 times and left messanges. I contacted Groupon about it. She called back me after 2 days. I need to rescheduled my 1st appointment because of work issues, she said she will charge $25 if I rescheduled appointment again. Then she booked my appointment time after 1 month! (Oh well, I still gave her opportunity, I am too kind right?!) Sola Salon Studios is a very innovative concept for a spa of sorts. It reminds me of consecutive mobile offices where businesses that focus on health/wellness can open up in a small space of their own to do business. Imagine a long hallway with sliding glass doors where business upon business is co-located in a very clean and inviting environment. I came here to go to Waxxx'd, a waxing studio operated by Gina in Studio 116. I had no trouble finding her and it was kind of fun to wander down the hallway and see different businesses that are also there. In her hallway it seems to be a lot of hair places and people were walking around looking fabulous! See my other review for Waxxx'd if you're looking for a very experienced wax practitioner. I had Brittny to get a hair cut. I noticed she was very young like a new grad but it didn't bother me. I got a bad feeling when she started to cut straight across. At the end, the back wasn't straight and there were choppings here and there! My neighbor noticed the same thing immediately. Booked another lady I used to go to, she took me first thing in the morning because I told her I had to be somewhere that day... :( She shaked her head and kept telling me Brittny screwed up her first part where the hair cut should start so everything fell apart. My husband as a guy is not very sensitive to this kind of thing and he noticed the difference immediately after my hair got fixed the next day. He literally said the words, "She (Brittny) didn't trim the hedges." Sorry Brittny I wanted to give you 1 star but you were so sweet and nice to talk to. So you deserved 2 stars. read more

Went to Lauren Mellano at Studio #106 and had such a great experience! Just went in for a light trim on my hair and got my hair re-touched to be lighter and balayage! I hadn't been to her before & a few friends had recommended her. She was so sweet & nice and I really felt like she understood what I wanted with my hair. Place is really nice and clean! Love that it's close to the freeway so going back home isn't a hassle! Go see Steve Henson at Sola Salon, Studio 105. I've been a client of Steve's since 1999 (almost 20 years). Sola is by far the best location in North OC. It's not too loud or noisy like other salons he's been at. Steve is a fantastic color specialist. I have natural brown hair but over the years he has made me a platinum blonde, dark violet, chocolate brown with lowlights and highlights, and currently I'm a redhead. He also is very patient as I have lots of thick hair! He's hip on the current style trends and his prices aren't cheap but not crazy expensive compared to other stylists and salons. Sarah Arcilla at Retro Hair Lounge in Sola Salons is amazing! I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair that has a mind of it's own. I've had it long, short, permed, straightened, but have always struggled to find the right cut/style that works for my hair. Since Sarah started cutting my hair I've had the best hair in my life! I can wash it, put some product in it (serum, cream-gel, and milk spray) and let it air dry and it looks good, I've always wanted to have a haircut where I could do that. I took a tour as they where still under construction at this location. It was wonderful to get a sneak peak at what the studios looked like in terms of size. I had the pleasure to see the work behind the completed and beautiful salon studio suites. They were adding in flooring and brand new cabinets for hairstylists suites. In the back, they have a spa and massage area that has an additional door for added privacy and to keep it extra quiet. Overall, I love that Sola offers high end suites designed for serious salon professionals looking to take that next step in their career. The team in Orange County are true professionals who are really nice. I would recommended any salon professional to check out the suites at Sola. read more
