    The ULTIMATE WIZARD Bryan Berkett!
    Elizabeth N.

We seriously discovered MAGIC IS REAL here! Bryan Berkett is the ultimate wizard!!! Sorry Dumbledore, you are 2nd place now! My daughter has been blessed to have so many different cultures running through her veins, but the challenge of that is very stubborn combination hair! You definitely can build your arm muscles styling her hair! Bryan's expertise transformed her locks into absolute perfection! She is beyond happy and feels so good about how she looks for this cherished moment of her journey! He not only ensured to keep her hair healthy, but he took the time to educate her! Thank you, Bryan!

Long Shag with Curtain Bangs by Aubree (With a side of a confidence boost. )

I just have to say that I was fully blown away by my experience with Aubree today. I didn't have an appointment and somehow ended up with the perfect stylist. Aubree had this warm and welcoming energy about her that I noticed the moment she introduced herself. As someone who has really bad anxiety, I truly do appreciate all her efforts to make me feel welcome, taken care of, and heard regarding my hair goals. She was confident, efficient, and my hair turned out better than I could have EVER expected it to. It quickly became obvious to me that she's a perfectionist- in the best way possible. Not only does she care about the color/cut, but she looks out for the overall health longevity of her clients' hair. She's able to roll with whatever roadblocks are in her way and adapt. Her extensive understanding of the products and different hair types made me feel at ease in her chair. I was impressed by how she was able to multitask. She truly thrives in this field. She took my raggedy long blue hair that resembled a birds next and transformed it in just one session. MIND YOU MY HAIR HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN PURPLE AND PINK AS WELL. This beautiful lady is pure magic. She talked me through a little bit of color theory and was able to build rapport with me by showing me some pictures of similar cases in her portfolio. Her customer service is unmatched in the sense that she treated me just like she would treat a good friend. There was no awkward silence. I did not at any point during my appointment have any doubts about trusting her. She was able to accommodate my last minute request for color removal and didn't hesitate to ask the front to block off more time for my appointment. She went out of her way -even though it was after closing-time to make sure that I got beautifully styled and was taught what products to use in my hair and how to style my hair myself at home. Even though we were almost the last people there, she took her time and went out of her way for little old me. In summary: Aubree's charisma, skill, and attention to detail left me in awe. She is by far the best stylist I've ever had and I plan to keep her as my stylist for as long as I can. The thing that makes her stand out from other stylists is not only the fact that she is passionate about what she does, but she's compassionate to her clients as well. Compassion is something you can't teach. I'm very thankful for my experience today. 100/10.

My 4 year old was so excited to get her bangs cut for Christmas. We booked an appointment and they told us to come between 5:40 and 5:45 which I thought was weird how I don't have an exact time. I got there at 5:44 and they wouldn't take us because my stylist refused my service because she had to leave. Rosa, the front receptionist said she had a miscommunication with her and that she couldn't take me. I explained that I drove for about 50 minutes and she still couldn't help me. Attached picture shows people just sitting down doing absolutely nothing. Horrible service!

Janette is the best stylist at The Grand Salon. She is always helpful with getting you to the desired style you want safely. I get my color, highlight, cut, Brazilian blowout and extensions with her. She is a one stop shop which is nice because you don't have to bounce around to different stylist. Having extensions you have to get a good extensions stylist because you don't want anyone to know that you are wearing them. Janette offers Bellami extensions. I used the Ktip this time and I love them!!! They weigh a lot less on your head and look more natural! She installs them to be less visible! Which I love! I get a lot of compliments on my hair all the time. She is always continuing her hair education to stay with the hottest trends. She is friendly and fun. She truly is the best at what she does! Give her a try out!

Connie is AMAZING! and that's an understatement! She listened to exactly what I wanted, even gave some input when I wasn't sure which is what I needed. She and I had great conversations and when I showed everyone my hair they LOVED it and now want to go where I do. Thank you for working your magic you are super talented.

What a unique experience. I can easily spend 4+ hours here…read more I arrived on a Tuesday at 6:30pm and it wasn't that crowded. Upon arriving at the front desk, they give you a spa outfit, some towels, and a wristband. The wristband unlocks your shoe locker and your separate clothing locker. The hot tub area is fully nude whereas the common areas are clothed. I went to grab some dinner and had the croaker fish. The service was fast and easy. The food is a little pricey but their meals came with a lot of bonchon so it made up for the cost! After dinner, I checked out the charcoal room, ice room and salt room. All the rooms were clean and had plenty of space for relaxing! Finally, I had a body scrub appointment at 8pm. I booked the scrub with Jenny and it was an experience! For those who never had a korean body scrub before, you have to soak in the hot tub for 20-30 mins. Then your masseuse will call your name and bring you in the side room. Then you lie on your back on the table and get the ultimate scrub down! I felt so much lighter after the scrub. My skin tone was even and felt baby soft. Then she also give you a cucumber facial and wash your hair for you! My hair was super silky and smooth. They have dyson hair dryers in the women locker rooms which made it easy for me to get ready. Then, when I was ready to checkout, I brought the clothes and wristband to the front desk and I was out of there!

I noticed a lot of a younger crowd here (early 20s) - good for them prioritizing their wellness - I guess price point works for them too. And sadly maybe a lot of then, they do not know what is good versus atrocious. But, this is a place where one could leave with some serious skin and/or health issue, it is that bad. i was with MDs here. never again. i had 4 services here and each one was SO terrible (too chatty, bad services. it was painful all around). i found the slippers, towels, robes, showers - even the lockers/seating/walls/toilets/sinks/flooring - NOTHING was clean, just smelly/nasty - much less the amenities and pooled water/all seating. do not waste your money like i did. just YUCK. also why did they have like: zero q-tips, any product, disposable combs - like very basic items any spa always has. like even equinox has this stuff. Also their AC is always broken (we rescheduled twice due to their broken AC - they called us. guess what, we showed up - STILL NO AC it was stifling) so they bring in these loud industrial huge fans. nothing seems/smells clean (say 'green products'...). sadly, so many of the employees sound SO sick with heavy wet coughs/colds. they seem to hate their lives. and there is zero food. lucky to get water if it is not empty. too bad because it could be a nice place if they cleaned, cared, had good services. basic upkeep, and did not let in a gazzilion guests at a time. So much better to pay more at another spa and not contract some serious health issue here. i still tipped well because the employees seem so miserable and overworked/clueless, yet polite. but i want to warn others - do not repeat my mistake by going here (even if someone sends you for free, get a refund, or try a different location).

K Spa is in a corner shopping area with a big parking lot. It was surprisingly busy on Saturday but I was able to find parking. The staff were very friendly. As soon as I entered the locker area I was greeted by one of the staff that asked me if it was my first time. She showed me where all the different areas were. The facilities were pretty clean. It was a busy day but it did not feel overcrowded. Everyone was really respectful and it was not too loud. I like that they provide some common amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hairspray, and qtips. I brought my own shower supplies and they had convenient baskets where I could place my products while I showered. They constantly brought out fresh towels as well. The towels are small so if you want a bigger towel you should bring your own. Inside the women's area they have warm bath, hot bath, cold bath, steam sauna, and dry sauna. They also have a seated and standing shower area. The scrubbing area is in the back past the pools. They have a clock so that you can keep an eye out for your appointment time. But the scrubbing women do come out and call out for your number. I got called in a little before my appointment time. They do recommend you arrive 30mins before your appointment to soak in the tubs. The body scrub was really nice and the lady was very nice. It was a relaxing scrub with a good amount of pressure so I felt that she was getting the dead skin off. They also put product on your face and hair. The hair/head massage felt really nice and the products left my hair feeling soft. They give you an envelope to tip but they also have zelle and venmo if you do not have cash. The common area is smaller than the other spas I have been to but very nice. I did enjoy the salt room. Everyone was really respectful and kept pretty quiet. There is also a kiosk where you can order from the cafe. They text you when the order is ready and you have to go back out to the front to pick up your order. They provide slippers for you to put on and then you can bring the food back to the common area. The kiosk has limited options. For more food you can go to the restaurant itself with your spa clothes. The restaurant is very small so gets busy quickly. The food is delicious though.

One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! It was even featured in Beef on Netflix, so it already comes with that cinematic, aesthetic atmosphere The moment you walk in, you can feel the difference. The entire spa is designed with natural elements -- crystal chandeliers, wooden walls, and an impressive collection of over 500-year-old antiques. It doesn't feel like a typical commercial spa at all, more like a quiet, curated sanctuary for the mind. They also have separate lounges for men and women, which makes the whole experience feel more private and refined. The essential oils used are from doTERRA -- clean, natural, and not overpowering. I tried their 90-minute "Fresh Ginger & Mugwort Herbal Massage," and the whole treatment follows a very thoughtful, traditional wellness flow: It starts with freshly ground ginger applied to the body to warm you up from within -- you can literally feel the cold leaving your body Then comes hot stone therapy to raise your body temperature and deeply relax your muscles Finally, warm mugwort herbal compresses are used along pressure points, inspired by traditional Chinese medicine, leaving your body feeling light and rebalanced My therapist Tina had a very gentle and soothing technique -- not overly intense, but incredibly effective. The relaxation actually lasted longer, which is perfect if you've been stressed or not sleeping well. And honestly, the resort itself adds so much to the experience There are two 18-hole championship golf courses, plus private one-on-one yoga sessions -- it truly feels like a full-on retreat. The best part? For a resort-level spa like this, the pricing is actually very reasonable -- great value for what you get. In one sentence: This isn't just a massage -- it's a full mind-and-body reset. If you've been feeling drained or just want to escape LA for a bit, this place is absolutely worth saving

Now the bad: The price for a massage is reasonable, but you must pay an additional 39.00 if you want a to use their lockers or robe, take a shower or use the jacuzzi. This was unexpected and confusing. Before arriving, I had called for clarification of this policy and was only told that they would charge 39.00 for use of the jacuzzi. I had no idea that I wouldn't be given a robe or allowed to shower without paying the extra fee. I'm in a spa club and I have never run into this issue before. This confusion may have been due to a language barrier. The shower area has a sign saying that you must run the hot water for 10-15 minutes to obtain hot water (!). I did so and still had to take a cold shower because the water never got hot. The only towels available are very small and very thin. They are not large enough to wrap around your body. The jacuzzi area shows deferred maintenance with broken tile, missing robe hooks and mold/mildew on the ceiling between the jacuzzi and the showers (ick). This is a nice facility, but the policies are confusing and it's sadly lacking in general upkeep. (See pics)
