This was honestly one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. The hair color treatment was an absolute disaster -- it left my roots feeling completely fried and painfully dry. When I looked in the mirror afterward, my hair was so bad I didn't even feel comfortable going outside. I was embarrassed to be seen in public, which is the exact opposite of what a salon visit should do. I was also stuck in that chair far longer than any normal appointment should take, all while my stylist, Marissa, seemed more invested in whatever was on her phone than actually doing her job. I felt ignored, forgotten, and completely unimportant. To make things even worse, there was an unpleasant smell coming from Marissa while she worked on me, which made the whole situation even more uncomfortable. I genuinely expected basic professionalism and hygiene, and this was nowhere near it. I walked out furious that I paid for this experience. Please, please, please save your money. My sister and I came to have our hair styled and while the stylist was nice, neither of our updos looked even remotely close to the styles we requested. I requested Hollywood glam waves and there was nothing wavy about my hair. My sister wanted a pretty ponytail with curls and the result was not great. I went in to go get a perm for the first time in a while and Lydia help me achieve exactly what I wanted. I showed her a photo of what I was interested in and not only did she nail the look I was trying to get but she also gave me tips and trimmed up some other things that made it look even better. Beware. If i could put 0 stars i would. Ruined my SENIOR prom plans. Day of my prom, 15 minutes before my appointment, we are called and told that my appointment needs to be pushed back to 4pm??? That's insanity, my prom was an hour drive and I would've been so late to my prom plans. The lady on the phone was so rude, i'm assuming it was the owner, she had no care that she ruined my prom plans and was having a crisis. I had to run somewhere else and it was so stressful. My mom even called to confirm my appointment at 2pm and she said NOTHING. The lack of care for my time was very disappointing, changing the time last minute does not make me want to try this place again. She didn't even attempt to help get me in somehow and told us too bad. I had to scramble and find someone else to do my hair and make up and luckily they were very compassionate and i told them about this place and they were shocked and appalled. Incredible experience. The ladies here showed so much kindness and compassion when helping me fix the mess I had done at another salon. I had shown up to this salon embarrassed with bright Orange hair around 7:30 pm and could not be fit into their busy schedules until like 4 days later. The hair I had originally asked for was for a more ash blonde brown tone. However, these ladies were kind enough to help me fix my hair to get it closer to what I wanted and stayed until 10pm, even though they had to get up early the next day. They fixed it quickly and at an affordable price. Happy with the transformation and very thankful for Josie and Maria for saving my hair so late into the day. read more

Maria Machuca does the BEST Brazilian Blowouts ever! She's been doing my Brazilian Blow outs for about 10 years - and ALWAYS makes my hair feel and look healthy, while saving styling time - she's life changing! I've recently relocated and drive 40-45 mins one way for her expertise. I have naturally thick, coarse, curly/wavy, unmanageable hair that use to take 45 mins plus to blow dry / style. Now, once I wash it, I can let it air dry and use my fingers to blow dry in about 10 mins. I'm active and put my hair in a pineapple bun daily while working out, and once I'm done I can literally let my hair down and run my fingers through my hair with no further styling. It's low maintenance, lasts for about 4 months because she's meticulous and doesn't take huge chunks to rush through like other stylists at other salons where some of my friends had less than satisfactory experiences. read more

If I can give this place ZERO stars I would! Pretty much just for Brittney Dubia. Went here to get my hair lightened. Britney started talking to me like she's such an expert with hair. Telling me how she went to different salons before and her being a hair stylist, she knows that they lie to you to get your business, but she "doesn't lie to customers". Blah blah blah. Pretty much trynna show that's she's honest and good compared to others. Anyways, instead of dying my hair brown , the results ended up JET black. She kept telling me it'll go lighter after a few wash. I waited 2 weeks and NOTHING. I texted her and she told me to put a dishwasher soap on my hair to strip away the color. Are you serious?!????? I didn't go to you and paid you for me to put a dish soap on my hair. I asked her for a refund. Which she gave back. This was my 2nd time dying my hair ever, and she MESSED it up. I was so upset. I came here to see Brittany. She had a Groupon on offer that seemed like a good deal. I am new to the area and trying to find a new hair dresser. Maybe relying on Groupon offers is not the ideal way to do this? When I got to Salon I was told the receptionist would be right with me. When she came to greet me she offered me coffee and I accepted. She brought it in a chipped, stained mug that I would never have given to any of my client were i to run a business like that. There were paper cups on the counter where the creamer was and I would have so much have preferred that. When I added one of the little creamers they had the coffee curdled. So much for that idea. I left it on the table and didn't touch it after that. Brittany came out after the coffee debacle. Long story short, she spent maybe 35 minutes with me. The Groupon was for a Deep Conditioning, Cut and Style. After the cut she runs some curl defining cream trough my hair and gives me the mirror and says I am all done. I have never left a salon with out getting my hair blowdried. I did yesterday, and on top of that it was raining. I can let the bad coffee experience go. Dealing with cheap service is not something I choose to live though again. Spending 10 more minutes to blow-dry my hair might have turned me into a repeat customer. After all, the whole purpose of a Groupon is gaining new clients. Sorry I won't be coming back. I was far from impressed. read more

Purchased a groupon deal with Brittney Dubia for a haircut, shampoo, deep conditioner, cut & style and that's what I got. She was very sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted. I was nervous coming in because I planned on going a lot shorter. She cut off a good amount of my hair at the exact length I asked for, and I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. She took her time with me (exactly an hour) and I'm glad she wasn't rushed. Brittney was not those overly chatty type of hairdressers who gossip or make a lot of small talk. She's sweet & very professional, pretty quiet while cutting my hair, but that's because she's focused & "in her zone" which were her exact quotes (I actually prefer when they just work on my hair and not insist on being so chatty...maybe I'm anti-social?). Anyway, I walked in looking like a scraggly Amanda Bynes & left looking like Beyoncé...maybe not, but that's how I felt.
