This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a hair salon. The owners were unbelievably rude, dismissive, and straight-up disrespectful. When I tried to bring up an issue with my service, they didn't listen at all--they talked over me, had an attitude, and made it clear they did not care. There was zero professionalism. Instead of trying to fix the problem, they acted defensive and arrogant, as if customers don't matter once they've already paid. It was honestly shocking how comfortable they were being so disrespectful. No one should be treated like that, especially in a place where you're paying for a service. Marinda is the BEST! I met Marinda in a professional setting and we quickly became good friends. She is so sweet, kind, and extremely down to earth. I knew immediately when I found out that she was a hairdresser that I wanted to be her client. You can truly tell she cares about what she does. When I recently went in for a cut after growing out my hair after losing it all to chemotherapy she suggested that I don't cut it too much so that I can style it on my own. I've never been able to curl my hair before because I didn't know how and she taught me right there on the spot how to curl my own hair. This reminded me of a quote: "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." I took my girls to this salon yesterday. It's nice and big. It wasn't too busy which I assume it would be because it's Friday but nope. We were able to be seen by a nice lady name Daniela. She was so nice and made sure my girls were taking care of with what they wanted their hair style to look like. The only thing I wasn't aware about this place is when my husband called and made the appointment we weren't told they don't accept credit or debit card. It's a cash only. But they did have those atm which charge you a $2.50 fee which sucks! I hate doing those and don't trust those to be honest. Hopefully no scam. But one thing this salon should do is let customers be able to use their credit/debit card and not have to pay an extra fee to pay for their hair or let their employees have those small machines at their dresser station. read more

My experience with Adilene Guzman was frustrating. I went in scared because I had gotten my hair burnt by another stylist the year before and I was afraid of getting a bad color again. During the appointment I felt rushed and not communicated with about the reality of what I was getting. She bleached my whole head worked on another girl while also doing my hair and then didn't want to add color and just toned it. I just wanted to be light brown. I walk out with very uneven curtain bangs that i absolutely hated and that really messed up my 21st birthday which is why I even went to get my hair done! My hair looked orange and when I messaged her to fix my bangs and my color the appointment was awkward. So after a while I message her for either for my formula or to book an appointment for a touch up for my roots and she never responds which is so unprofessional. So now I have so much regrowth and need a color correction that I didn't know I would need and I feel so ugly and completely regret ever booking with Adilene. read more

I wish I could remember the name of the woman who cut my hair when I wanted to donate it. Her station is the last one near the center of the salon. She was super personable, genuine, and didn't disappoint. 5 stars for her whoever she is lol! Talking with her was a true pleasure. I especially appreciated her love of natural hair and recommending I highlight my hair instead of color it. It was a tempting offer but I do love me some fierce red. I was her last client for the day and she definitely took her time making sure it was what I wanted. The price wasn't too bad considering it was LONG and she had to spend extra time braiding the hair to donate and foiled it up nicely for me. Perfect cut! Two months later I returned to have my hair styled for my friend's wedding but booked it with Letty since she was the only one available that morning. It took longer than expected (I admit this was my own fault for showing up with wet hair) TIP: Arrive with completely dry hair! She would switch from working on drying + styling my hair to working on a man's hair. When she was all done I asked her how much I owed and I swear she looked like she picked a number out of the sky. And a high number at that! I paid more to style my shorter than shoulder length hair than I paid to style my looooong hair somewhere else. I mean, my hair looked nice when she first finished but by the time I got to the wedding it appeared much flatter and lifeless. I won't be going back to Letty anytime soon. read more

If I could give more stars for Marinda Kennison I would. My normal hairstylist got married and moved to another state. For more than I year I had been seeing posts of the hair that Marinda had cut and colored. So I finally decide to give her a try. Best move I ever made when it comes to my hair. My hair was mangy at best. I ignored it for way to long. When she was done I was just blown away at how amazing it looked. I have posted a before and after and one in the sunlight. My hair is naturally very dark brown, so for her to get this color in one sitting in less than 3 hours, was nothing short of a miracle. I have another appt with her this Saturday! I went in to the salon to get my eyebrows microbladed. They were so tiny and thin from me plucking them in Junior high when it was fashionable to have the smallest eyebrows possible. I also had a scar on each of my eyebrows from two separate incidents that prevented hair from growing in that location. I have always been so self-conscious about my eyebrows and I cannot stand doing my makeup everyday for work because I am a preschool teacher and I end up sweating it all off anyway. However I would go without concealer, powder, mascara, lipstick but never without doing my eyebrows which I was terrible at. I am so relieved that I never have to do my eyebrows again because they look amazing thanks to Fawn. She talked me out of the microblading with very good reasoning and suggested instead that I get I cannot remember what it's called but it's done with a tattoo gun that is specifically made for your eyebrows and don't worry they will not end up looking like the normal tattooed eyebrows you have probably seen which are usually pretty scary. Fawn was so patient and kind and explained everything so well. It didn't hurt at all she did such a good job. I would give her a 100 out of 10 for her amazing work. I cannot say enough nice things about her. She really is an artist. I was very hesitant yet excited going into this process and 110% satisfied with the results and this is coming from somebody who is incredibly picky especially for something that's going to be permanently on my body I learned the hard way when I got a stick and poke tattoo at 16. But after speaking with Fawn I felt completely comfortable in trusting her with a very major aspect of my appearance. I am so glad I made the leap and finally got it done. If you are looking to fix your eyebrows as well I cannot recommend Mrs. Fawn enough. I will be back on to leave another review with before and after pictures once my eyebrows are completely healed and I am not all sweaty and gross from work. Also I just wanted to mention that the healing process is incredibly fast and easy and the process of getting the eyebrows done was, I do have a pretty high pain tolerance, but to me it felt ticklish more than painful. I was never in any discomfort and Fawn made sure that I was doing okay the entire time. I am so happy I went with her suggestions she helped me avoid destroying my eyebrows by doing the microblading and doing the other process instead which I can never thank her enough for. She is I would say one of the top people in Orange county or California for that matter to go to if you would like to have this process done. I feel so much more confident about myself thanks to Mrs. Fawn. I don't know if you are reading this Mrs. Fawn but I want to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all of your hard work and talent. You really change my life in such a positive way. We all have something on our bodies that we might not like and can even obsess over where as other people don't even notice that one freckle or mole that you can't stand. However when I visited my cousin who is an esthetician and brought up microblading she said and I quote "girl you need it" and I am so happy that I followed through and that I went to a true professional who stopped me from making a horrible mistake by doing the microblading and provided me with a much better and permanent option. The price was not bad at all. It only cost me an additional $45 to get the much better process done. They also have a salon that I will be going to from now on to get my hair done. On my way out I saw an amazing hairdresser who I will be going to from now on finishing up with a client whose hair looked fantastic this hairdresser's name is Andreka the phone number on her business card is 714-529-4775. She was so kind to talk to me on my way out of the salon after my eyebrows were done. I wanted of course to ask her opinion on my eyebrows but I also had a question about blow drying because regrettably about a week before I went to a different salon they asked me if I would like my hair blow dried when I left and I said of course I would because every salon I've ever gone to they wash your hair, cut it and blow dry it they do not send you out with wet hair it is very unprofessional. However I found out later when paying the bill without being told ahead of time that it was $45 to blow dry my hair. I would never in my life spend $45 for somebody to blow dry my hair unless it was on my wedding day. I was actually pretty disappointed because I got my haircut a week previously after not having it cut in 4 years and the gal that cut my hair was very young an she let me make a rash decision to cut side bangs which I have actually been trying to grow out for years and I have had to fix them with scissors at least five times already because she missed a lot of hair that goes with my new regrettable sidebangs. I think a much more experience hairdresser like Andreka would have done a way better job. read more

I was skeptical about leaving the barber I have been going to for the last couple of years, as I am a pretty picky guy; to say the least, lol . I love the great fades I can get at a barbershop with a straight razor shave, although, barber shops lack the opportunity to offer a shampoo and rinse afterwards. I mean, no one likes leaving the barber shop with hair all over the place, right? haha , maybe it's just me though (oh well). Well, Oscar has ruined it for me FOREVER!
