Before booking, I was required to place a $20 deposit to reserve my spot, and shortly after completing the authorization application, I received my confirmation details via email. I then reached out to Veronica on Instagram to ask a few questions regarding my service. She took the time to thoroughly respond to each question with precision, knowledge, and detail. With this useful information, I decided to upgrade my service to an All-Over Color & Haircut. Later on, I changed my mind and decided I wanted to maintain my natural color and only proceed with a haircut. I also needed to reschedule because my calendar no longer aligned with that date. I contacted Veronica again, and she kindly rescheduled me for a new date: September 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Finally, the day of my appointment, I walked in and waited for only about a minute. Veronica greeted me with a positive attitude and seated me to begin my service. Before starting, she asked to see my reference photo. Once I showed her, she was very transparent with me upfront: she wouldn't be able to perform or guarantee that I would be 100% satisfied with the result because my reference photo did not align with her specialty. Veronica could have simply proceeded with the service and taken the payment, but instead, she honestly explained the situation. She even went out of her way to refer me to someone else who specializes in what I was requesting, and on top of that, she immediately refunded my $20 deposit. Instead of jeopardizing my service for her own benefit, she valued my time, money, and self-confidence by passing up a business opportunity. If you're reading this, I highly encourage you to consider booking your next appointment with Veronica because that level of integrity and honesty will definitely gain her an abundance of business opportunities and loyal customers. Unico Salon's vibe is welcoming, clean and very athletically pleasing. The salon owner has a trendy, yet polished interior design style. My favorite part of this salon is the drama free vibe. As a client with foils in my hair, I have ample time to read the room and everyone's body language. And it's evident the stylists here all get along, you can feel the harmony in the room. Which is very rare to find in the beauty industry, this place is a "girls girl" type of salon. Not to mention they always have upbeat music playing and have a free beverage bar, such a nice touch. But most importantly, the best hair stylist here is hands down Julian Tinsley. For years I've been searching for a stylist that understands how to achieve a "Bronde Balayage." I've been let down time and time again... Until I met Julian. He understands how to blend the perfect shade that compliments your skin tone. He melts your highlights so they look natural and he adds perfect dimension. He has such an eye for hair he's even suggested little details that have made my natural features pop. At our first consultation, he took the time to listen to me- and I mean he TRULY listen. I felt heard as he repeated back what I asked for, validating that we we're on the same page. And he was upfront about the price, and stayed true to it, no hidden add on's. For me, It's these little details like this that win my trust. Also, He is so genuine and tailors the session to what you need. For example, when I'm excited and chatty he's right there with me. And when my social battery runs out and I'm tired of talking, he reads that and doesn't force small talk- which I appreciate so much. His presence is so authentic and refreshing. It's been years since I have colored my hair and honestly coming here was one of the best decision I made. First off the salon it's self has a great presence from the moment you stepped in. I was kindly greeted by a receptionist who made sure I was ready for my appointment and even offered a drink from a cute lil beverage bar. My stylist Julian T. And I so glad he had an open availability because I'm in love with my end results. I didn't know what colors to do but I was excited for change...Very professional from the start he made it clear that he will only do what I'm comfortable with. Making the appointment a fun one and listening to my requests he also gave me great tips on styling and helping me find a color tone that compliments me. The one thing I appreciate the most was after my hair coloring was completed he showed me the best ways to maintain and take care of my hair. I got my hair done here for the first time in the beginning of February, I was so excited considering the work I have seen on Brianna's ig looks amazing. I got to the appointment and everyone was really sweet and nice I will say the customer service was great. However she over processed my hair and it's burned now like I have to pay a different person to do hair treatments. I told her about this and she basically left me on read when I asked her for at least a partial refund. I cried when I first washed my hair 4 days later it's yellow now and so guey it's like bubble gum. I have been blonde for over 12 years and have never ever had this happen to my hair. Honestly I don't recommend this hair stylists. It just sucks that she couldn't even offer to do a treatment or anything to help resolve the issue. The vibes and aesthetic of this salon are always on point. But nothing is more amazing than my hairstylist, Julian (aka Jules). I haven't trusted anyone with my hair for the past 2 years! I really appreciate the open communication we have to ideas. His abilities are a gift, but I love that he continues to hone his skills so that whether I'm looking for something low-maintenance or switching things up with a very vibrant color, he always delivers! I have been a client of this salon for a couple years now. Brianna does my primary color and I followed her to Unico from her old salon. Brianna not only slays, she primarily listens to her clients wants & needs. That is SO important when it comes to hair. She takes her time, is very approachable and she is also hilarious. I always look forward to my appointments. Julian at Unico has saved my life with helping me with my extension needs. He is extremely sweet and he also puts his client's needs first. He does an amazing job and also takes his time. I never feel rushed with both Brianna and Julian and they ALWAYS take care of me. They both work their booties off! I highly recommend this place! The stylist who did my hair is Jocelyn, and I am beyond happy with the results. My first visit with her was back in October, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. I'll be posting another photo soon of a different transformation she's done for me, and once again, she did such a fabulous job. Jocelyn is incredibly talented with blondes, highlights, and haircuts. She truly knows what she's doing. I've contacted other salons before, but the trust and confidence this place gives you is unmatched. It's hard to find someone you can fully trust with your hair, and I feel very fortunate to have found her. Getting my hair done by Julian at Unico Hair Salon is a stunning experience. He has helped me reach my hair goals more than once. From the moment I walk in, I am graciously greeted and taken to my chair. Before we begin, he reviews what it is he will be doing and the cost. During the process, he checks in to make sure I am okay and if I need anything like water or an iced coffee ( I love the little coffee bar they got going). I made an appointment for a cut & color a while back. Like most salons, they don't quote a price for color over the phone because it can vary. The stylist needs to see your hair & determine cost based on what you want. I spent more than planned, but I am reminded of the old saying... You get what you pay for. Upon entering Lux Aveda, I was immediately greeted by beautiful, calming scents & an enchanting visual display... it was like entering a rainforest! I was greeted, checked in, & offered this delicious tea that I'm now addicted to. Yup, I bought a package to take home & am loving it. My consultation with Arlene went very smoothly. She was patient & I could tell she was really listening/asking questions to figure out exactly what I wanted. She was terrific - and I love my new hair! Thank you, Arlene!

On both occasions I've texted to schedule my appointments the response time is slow. This most recent visit I did not get a response until the following day. Overall though I don't care about that.
