Ps Mrs Megan C. I apologize for leaving this note here, but I felt I had to convey this message to you because people would think I was in the wrong. Of course, you have the right to defend your employee; however, despite not having been in contact with them for two days, I spoke in an extremely polite manner and gave them another chance to rectify the mistake. And what did they do? They said they couldn't work with me and stated that they had handed the job over to someone else. Is this how they stand behind their work? They could have told me this right from the start; you have taken both my time and my money over the past four days, and on top of that, they blocked me. I can send you screenshots of the messages if you wish--or perhaps it would be better for me to share them here, or maybe you should speak with them about this situation first. I apologize if my tone is harsh, but while I worked ten hours to earn this money, they only worked two. Last one. In the screenshot I shared there, you can see how the hairdresser you are defending treated me; you can also see how she ignored me--despite my offer to pay extra for the work--and the difficult position she put a customer in. Instead of lying to people just to take their money, she could have chosen to provide quality service; admitting that one cannot handle a specific job shouldn't be that difficult. I have been getting this hair treatment done for nearly a decade, and I have never encountered such irresponsible people before. Even if I knew I would receive the service for free, I would no longer want to work with you or even walk past your shop. You have no idea about the stress I've endured over the past four days or how upsetting it is for me to still be discussing this matter with you. Unfortunately, continuing to work with this person will remain a black mark on your wonderful studio; people like that lower your standards. I hope this is the last time such a situation occurs. I think this proves just how right I was. You see, I am the very person you described as someone who stands behind their work. Thank you for the effort I've put in over the last four days trying to express myself in broken English; rest assured, that is worth far more than $235. That amount certainly won't bankrupt me, but it will cast a shadow on professionals like you. Instead of arguing with customers or blaming them regarding the hairstyles I might recommend, I believe it would reflect much better on the staff if they helped find a middle ground. Naturally, I have no intention of unjustly blaming anyone who does their job properly; however, being forced to defend myself against such unfair accusations creates an unpleasant situation. I am truly sorry about what has happened and never wanted the matter to drag on like this, but I have no choice but to defend myself.
Griselda is absolutely amazing! She did an incredible job with both my extensions and my balayage, and I couldn't be happier with how my hair turned out. The color is beautiful, natural, and blends perfectly with my extensions. What really says it all is that my extensions have lasted over a year and still look amazing! She is so talented, takes her time, and truly knows how to make extensions and color look seamless. I always leave her chair feeling beautiful and confident. If you're considering extensions or balayage, I highly recommend Griselda! She is truly the best!

I absolutely LOVE how my hair turned out!! My stylist, Kaiya, was an angel. She truly listened to everything I wanted while still making the health and integrity of my hair her top priority, which I appreciated so much. She was incredibly patient and paid attention to every little detail throughout the entire service. I knew going into my appointment that my hair would be a challenge because I had years of black box dye, so I was trying to keep my expectations realistic... but OH MY GOODNESS. SHE ATE DOWNNN. My hair turned out even better than I could've imagined, and I'm genuinely obsessed with the results. You can tell Kaiya really cares about her work and her clients. I felt heard, comfortable, and taken care of from beginning to end. If this isn't your sign to book with her, I don't know what is. 1000/10 recommend!!
Griselda does an amazing job! I absolutely love what she has done with my hair. It looks so natural! She also did my 15 year old granddaughter's hair before she returned to school. My granddaughter was so happy with her new look. I will put a picture of how awesome it came out. First time adding highlights to her hair. I love that the owner is around and super friendly. I'm honestly heartbroken writing this review. I debated for a very long time before deciding to dye my hair again. I had left my hair alone for so long because I was nervous about trusting someone with it, and when I finally decided to book with Anna, I truly believed she could achieve the look I wanted. I'm including photos of my inspiration versus how my hair actually turned out so people can see the difference for themselves. Before she even started my hair, I specifically expressed how important it was to me that everything looked soft, blended, and natural. I showed her exactly what I wanted and was reassured that she could achieve it. I even expressed my concerns beforehand, and she reassured me that there would be no harsh lines and that everything would blend beautifully. That reassurance is the reason I trusted her to move forward with my hair. Unfortunately, after leaving my appointment and seeing my hair more closely, I noticed very sharp and harsh lines throughout my hair from the foils. It looks nothing like the soft, blended, natural look I asked for and showed in my inspiration photo. My heart honestly sank when I saw it. I reached out to Anna after my appointment and explained my concerns. She did offer to fix my hair, and while I appreciate her offering, I honestly don't feel comfortable going back. The difficult part for me is that I was already reassured before the service that my hair would turn out blended and natural. That reassurance was the reason I put my trust in her in the first place. So now, after my hair came out with the exact issue I expressed concern about beforehand, it's hard for me to trust that going back to have it fixed would give me a different result. My heart is broken in so many ways because this wasn't an easy decision for me. I spent such a long time debating whether I even wanted to color my hair again, and I finally trusted someone after being reassured that she understood exactly what I wanted. I truly wanted to love my hair, but instead, I'm now left feeling disappointed and upset with the result. I appreciate that she offered a correction, but I hope sharing my experience, along with my inspiration photos and the actual result, helps others make an informed decision. I wish things had turned out differently.

I found this salon through my mom who followed Briana here from another salon. She is a stylist that I never want to lose! She listens to what I'm looking for and constantly checks in to make sure everything is going according to what I want. Even when I can only describe it or give general ideas, she helps me narrow it down and does it with confidence and ease. I also appreciate that she's comfortable with chatting or letting me just zone out on my phone or a book. Regardless of what I do during the appointment, I can always count on my hair looking and feeling amazing after my appointment. I don't have much experience with the rest of the salon, they offer drinks and have a nice bathroom. The shared equipment is clean and always accessible, I've never had to wait for the shampoo or dryer. The front desk is usually nice as well. That being said, come for Briana- she will give you exactly what you're looking for!

PERM DID NOT TAKE -- MANAGEMENT BALMED MY "HAIR CANVAS" INSTEAD OF SERVICE!! I'm severely disappointed with my experience at Salon Technique in Fullerton. I went in for a spiral perm with clear reference photos and left with a result that did not match what was discussed and was assured was possible. Within weeks, the curl continued to fall out, and at this point there is very little curl remaining--even with styling products; what a loss of $460! After multiple attempts to follow up with Pamela Coryell the owner and Piage their "perm specialists", I did not receive any timely responses from either. When Pamela did finally reply, my concerns were dismissed and the outcome was blamed on my "hair canvas", including claims that my ends were lightened and too porous. This is simply not accurate--my hair is NOT colored, and I have had previous spiral perms which held well 8+ months and have matched the spiral perm look requested. To be certain I was not off my rocker, I had another salon in evaluate my hair that very same week I got the perm, and they confirmed the perm did not properly take, did not reflect what was asked for and they said I should be refunded. What's most disappointing is the lack of accountability from Salon Technique. Instead of acknowledging that the service fell short, the responsibility was redirected onto me the client! I requested multiples times for a refund and was denied and the only offer sent back was that I could return and re-perm little ares here and there with no promise that they would take! UNBELIEVABLE - I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision. My experience says beware and do not go here. I expected professionalism and accountability, and unfortunately this salon does not hold to this level of professionalism. UPDATE 4/25/2026 JUST RECEIVED A SPIRAL PERM FROM Avy The Curly Girly at a different salon in Fullerton and I got EXACTLY what I asked for (see photo) and to boot... for way less! First off, what a stunning atmosphere. This place is literally on the corner of commonwealth and harbor of downtown so you constantly see a cool, bustling atmosphere outside. Plus, they provide a little coffee/tea bar on the side, so niceeeee! Booking was easy and smooth. I literally just called a day before without even explaining for what I wanted, and they booked me right then. Lucky day I guess? I wanted a layered trim and some curtain bangs. It turned out amazing!! She also added some beachy waves! Also--idk what kind of hairspray they used, but it smelled so nice!!!! My stylist, Shelby, was also so sweet and cool! Shelby seemed to be really attentive to what I wanted. It was a bliss to book with her! Totally recommend her! Looking forward to coming back here again to get something dyed or another style!! Barbie wishes she had Shelby. Let me just say, my blonde has never looked this good. Shelby doesn't just do hair, she performs miracles. I walk in looking a smidge busted and walk out like a sun-kissed goddess ready to be in pantene or something. The tone? Immaculate. The dimension? Like a Renaissance painting. The vibes? Chef's kiss. She somehow reads my mind, knows exactly what kind of blonde I'm talking about this time I asked for something a little more golden and she knew exactly what I was talking about. Shelby delivers every single time. Bonus: she's funny, kind, and will hype you up while you sit there marinating in foils like a human baked potato. I found this salon on Yelp. I am so impressed with how quickly they helped me get booked with the right stylist--Ronses--and I couldn't be happier! Ronses was incredibly helpful from the start, making my daughter's hair appointment super easy and stress-free. Not only was he professional and kind, but he also did an amazing job on her hair. I love that this place is central after following my hair stylist SJ here. She always leaves my hair feeling refreshed and better. This has been my go to place for haircuts for the last six years! I actually stumbled upon this place when walking around downtown Fullerton! This salon is nestled in the midst of downtown on the corner of the main streets! This salon is bright and airy! Tons of windows provide natural light! Very relaxing environment with music and drink stand to grab a coffee, tea or cold beverage! The service is also great! I've been going to Stephanie for six or so years! She has been a master at cutting my hair which is thick long and curly! Not the easiest hair to cut! Not only does she cut my hair but she also washes and massage my head! Other places have somebody else do this! I have always been satisfied with my haircuts! The salon has ample amount of parking around. You can park on the street or there is a parking lot behind! I've been going to Chantel for my last couple appointments and I could not be happier with my hair! She's incredibly welcoming, communicative, and fun and makes you feel like you're sitting and chatting with a friend. She continues to check in throughout the cut, color, and styling process to make sure you walk out happy and will touch up anywhere you see fit. By far the best cut and blowout i've had in a long time, I would definitely recommend Chantel especially for curly hair girls! read more

You can make an appointment or walkin which ever works best for you.

That service can take a few sessions to achieve. Each session can cost between $200-$300 depending on amount of hair. We recommend coming in for a consultation so the stylist can assess what needs to be done to get your desired result.
What is the typical starting price for balayage?
I think it depends on who you decide to go with, you can call in and ask.
What is the price range for partial perm?
Our perms start at $75 it is recommended to come in for a free consultation to determine a more precise quote.
