Myesia worked her magic and saved my hair!!! Which was in horrible condition because I went to the wrong salon before. My hair was looking like a hot mess, dry, damaged, frizzy and definitely not as soft as it used to be. Myesia was so sweet and I could tell she actually cared about my hair. My friends gifted me a visit to this salon for a fun new dye job. Some of the staff are Keune educators, so you know they are legit. I thought I did a terrible job of describing what I wanted my hair to look like but they were able to really hear "between the lines" that I wanted depth and subtlety with my black-blue hair ask. Everyone was asked to wear masks, they took your temperature when you entered, they have vinyl dividers between stations and they even had a cups for clean and used pens. While I was there, customers came and went. I witnessed them clean and sanitize stations between washes and customers, as well as step back to a safe distance when asking customers to remove their mask momentarily for a final check of their work before finishing the appointment. I'm going to preface this review by saying I've never been an emotional person when it comes to hair. I've generally had long hair all my life because it's never really occurred to me to cut it. Recently my roommate chopped her hair and it was adorable. I then decided to jump on the bandwagon. I walked into the salon and was greeted immediately. The place itself is really cute, thy have a nail station and a bunch of experienced stylists with booths of their own. Erin C. greeted me and quickly sat me down at her chair. She let down my ponytail and suggested that I donate my hair after seeing the example of the cut I wanted she suggested I donate my hair (something I really wanted to do initially but forgot about until she reminded me). I ended up donating 12 inches to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths foundation. I'm really happy with the cut, it's exactly what I wanted and Erin took the time to teach me how to style it. The cut was around 45-50 dollars which is super reasonable and I purchased product for an extra 25. If you're about to make a big hair change or even a small one, I would highly recommend this salon. read more

She was told not to come back due to her "elderliness" and situation (by Shirley). I was happy to stay with my mom while she got her hair done. However, Shirley didn't think it was necessary and accepted my phone number to call me when she was done. If she didn't want to "handle" things on her own then she should have said so. Paul Bruno has done my hair for the past 2 years, and I absolutely adore him. He does amazing cuts and to-die for blow dries, and with Linda the two are a fabulous color duo. I went from very dark to extremely light which took about 7 hours of bleaching and removing the bands from my hair, but it was all worth it. I have always been greeted by multiple stylists even though I am not their client. Linda Sanderson is a miracle worker! My daughter arrived from college to celebrate Thanksgiving with her Aunt in Brea with horrid bleach blond hair that had started to turn different shades of orange, brassy yellow, and shades of green... We called her hairdresser immediately, but she had no openings. My sister went to Yelp to look up hair salons in her area, and found Shear Image. Linda got my daughter in right away. Her hair was badly damaged, but Linda was able to restore it back to her original beautiful brunette color. Her hair is badly damaged, but Linda took the time to instruct her on how to properly care for it, gave her samples of conditioner, and offered to send her shampoo and conditioner since she was unable to carry it back on a plane to college. I cannot say enough about Linda. She is awesome at her job. An expert in color, and personable beyond words. She gave us a Christmas miracle!
