**Warning** dangerously addictive delicious donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Apple fritters were the size of a small child and so delicious. Boston cream donuts were perfection! We purchased a variety and can't wait to try the others. So glad the wife searched for Vegan breakfast this morning. I was surprised to find a spot with Vegan options let alone 100% Vegan on the east side. The owner was friendly and I love supporting small businesses run by nice people. They have gluten free options which is wonderful as I have family members with Celiacs. Cute idea! But every single one of the dozen donuts we picked up today were literally in a pool oil, I have never had a wet donut, maybe they need to go on a rack instead of a tray after cooking. Yes it's vegan! Mesa needs more vegan options for sure. Got a half dozen and was super impressed with the unique flavor selections. Staff was very friendly and perky. But... there is a but... the amount of oil collecting in the bottom of the classic pink donut box was disappointing. Every donut we chose had oil just sitting in the bottoms and oil oozed out the side of our mouths with every bite. Unfortunately after 1-2 bites of each donut, trying to find one that had the least amount of oil, we couldn't continue. Waste of a box of donuts. I know this establishment is super new, and I hope they take this review and learn some better techniques to lessen the impact of the excess oil. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I would kill for their breakfast sandwiches. I question if it's vegan every time because it's SO good. Add the hash brown and chipotle mayo. I get bacon idk if the sausage is good because I can't stop eating these. The coffee is 10/10 they had a thin mint flavor for a while and now have birthday cake and it's a million times better than Starbucks. The salted caramel twist is the best donut I've ever had vegan or not. I would drive 2000 miles to this place. When they're closed I want to cry. And the aesthetic is cute like???? There's no way this is vegan. I said this exact thing in the store today during my second visit ever and was not disappointed. These are the best donuts I've ever had. Second time getting the apple fritter, we also got the chocolate creme filled donut with a cherry glaze, a regular glaze with sprinkles, and the Bavarian creme. Donuts from Sojo's were brought in as a going away treat for one of my colleagues as it was her last week. These donuts are not only vegan but gluten free as well. I must say these donuts were very tasty! I just wish there were more of them around. I live on the west side and unfortunately this shop is in the east valley. Welp the donuts were sold out. But who cares. Have you had their English muffin breakfast? OMG the taste of the sausage egg and cheese made my morning. These are good freakin donuts. Period. Boston cream was particularly delicious, transported me back to my childhood actually. My only issue, and why I didn't give 5 stars, was that I saw irregularities in their donuts, some super puffy and crispy, others smaller. You never want to cringe when the cashier goes to pick the smaller looking donut, haha. Part of this issue actually related to their toppings, I tried the coffee and blueberry today and it looked very different than photos, I think the donut was too hot for the glaze and the glaze melted off mostly. Could not taste the flavor of the topping at all. Not even a tinge of flavor for blueberry or the coffee. The earl gray and chocolate covered ones were made better. I think this is probably something that will just need to be worked on since it's a new business and had some kinks to work out. But I definitely will be back!! Hopeful that the flavors will all be on point next time. read more

My daughter brought us a mix of sweet and savory vegan donuts. Don't let the vegan aspect scare you off. I'm not vegan and every every one of them was outstanding, my favorite being ham and cheese with mustard glaze. My wife loved the London Fog (sweet) and daughter got salted caramel (freaking bomb). Finally got the chance to try Sojo's Donuts. I had been seeing posts on a local vegan Facebook group that I belong too. I had heard to get there early as they sell out quickly so I got there right at 7:00 am. I ordered a breakfast sandwich for my boyfriend and I to split and a half dozen donuts. My only regret was not ordering a whole sandwich for myself! Everything was absolutely delicious. Nobody would ever know they were vegan if you didn't tell them. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely LOVE everything about this place! From the delicious donuts and sandwiches, to the owners, crew & atmosphere! Even the combos that I wasn't sure about and tried (like pickle and peanut butter ) have been a delicious surprise to our whole family. It is so refreshing to go somewhere that you can tell genuinely loves what they do & are so good at what they do ! Their creativity, and flavor options level up breakfast. We have a tree nut allergy in our family and they are always willing to answer all of our questions and have never made us feel like an inconvenience when we ask and double check no matter how busy they are. Definitely worth setting your alarm a little earlier for and showing up before they sell out in case it is an early day ! I've been bringing my son to Sojo's weekly ever since they opened their doors. They offer specialty vegan donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and hash browns. All of which are delicious(at least the flavors I've had). This place is always hopping with people getting tasty treats so make sure you don't hit snooze button and get in early! It is a breakfast place after all ;D The shop is decorated with lots of memorabilia and donut themed art. Very cool! They play a VHS movie every day as well. There's even a Pac-Man arcade you can play(good luck beating my sons high score). The staff is always friendly and they always give my son a sticker which he loves. I also love the coffee, I get mine black, but have tried some flavors a few times. Overall, this place is delicious, vegan, and pretty popular by the line we wait in that's out the door usually. Get in there for a tasty treat from their selection ASAP! You won't be disappointed. Also, check their Instagram for updates daily. This place is incredible and the flavors are really different and amazing. They have earl gray, maple bacon, s'mores, lavender, glazed sausage donuts, and so many more. The breakfast sandwiches are INCREDIBLE. We had a sausage and a spinach. The sausage had some delicious sauce on it and we will be getting a few more of those next time! Everything is vegan but you wouldn't be able to tell. This is not your average vegan food. It's satisfying, sweet, and salty. We didn't try the coffee so we will hit that up next time.
