Sure, it's full of all the ingredients the other fast-food places use, like all the preservatives, seed oils, and other flavor enhancers, but it tastes pretty good. The problem for me, though, and it's a big one I've noticed at other places as well: the food tastes like artificial fragrance. At least the bun on the burger did. So it makes me think they are storing the buns in an area with fragrance (air freshener of some sort), or the plastic container the buns are stored in was stored in a room with an air freshener. It's pretty nasty to bite into a burger and taste a chemically crafted bouquet of flowers. I managed to remove the outer layer of both buns, and that got rid of the fragrance and made the burger edible. So, my suggestion for Culver's, and any food business, is to get rid of the stinking artificial fragrance. It's nasty, it's toxic, it tastes terrible, and it sticks to everything, especially plastic and anything that plastic touches. The sad part is, most people live their lives surrounded by fragrance, they can't even taste it when it's in and on their food.

I ordered two sides as my main dish: the lobster risotto, which was delicious, and the sweet potato fries. Those were some of the best I've had. I also asked for some ranch dressing instead of ketchup with the fries and the waiter said it was homemade. It was thick and creamy and definitely not like the typical bottled dressing. For dessert, I had the Irish coffee and it was very good. The recipe was a little different from most: Bailey's, Kahlua, Tia Maria, and Frangelico. Everything tasted good, service was good, especially considering there was only one waiter in evidence, prices were comparable to other similar restaurants, and we will almost certainly be back again to try some of the other things on the menu. If you're used to huge American style portions and hurried service, you might be disappointed, but if you're used to European style slower, more relaxed dining and smaller portions that don't leave you feeling stuffed to the gills, you'll love it.

Amazing place! The food is incredible, the service is even better, and the atmosphere puts it all together. Jackie, Kaylee, and Shanel are the best waitresses they have! We always make sure we get one of these girls! But what I love most about this place is the teamwork everyone displays. If one person is busy then another will step right up and take care of what you need. The only downside to this is the bartenders. Yes, they make excellent drinks, but they are very rude. They know they run the restaurant and will use it to their advantage. Stay away from the one with the long blonde hair, she will be rude right to your face and not think twice about it. I love this place and the food but we came here today and it took about 10 minutes for anyone to even greet us, after we bussed and cleaned our own table, and another 20 minutes before we even got our drinks which were wrong. After about 30 minutes of waiting for our food we get it and it's wrong and cold but someone other than our server dropped it and the server never came and asked us how it was. On top of that we never got napkins. As we're checking out they charged us for things that they never brought. I worked in the food industry for years and i understand things happen but this has been the absolute worst restaurant experience. It's a very no-frills type of restaurant so don't expect any pretty decor or anything- plain wood stained booths is what you get and it feels homey, so I can't complain. We got the recommended cheese fries and whoa these were cheesy everywhere. The bacon on the fries was my personal favorite! Service was friendly and attentive. Our burgers (avocado bacon and green chile) were pretty tasty! Love the buns but I wish they were a bit more toasted. The beef is tasty and the burgers are definitely filled with toppings. Caught the end of a cowboys game here (plenty of tvs in the bar area) so that was an added plus! We'll be sure to come back! read more

Went to snuffers for the first time in a couple of months and wow has that place changed! Not sure what they were thinking, but all the beer now is microbrew and ridiculous high-priced. Thought we would sit on the patio and enjoy the weather but didn't want to cash in my retirement account to do so. Cheese fries are killer, probably really! Price point is good, people are friendly. There is a weird smell in the bathroom though... Hamburger is good. View at this location in Rockwall is the best, you have to sit on the patio. No where else in Dallas offers this type of view.
