My only BIG complaint was a cockroach ran across the table and my plate of food towards the end of my meal. The manager did seem mortified, and comped one of the meals on the ticket. However, roaches anywhere is a big NO from me. Visited this location last night about midnight after a softball game. I used Yelp to locate late night grub because it was late and the spot is listed as closing at 1am. Once we arrived it was 1220...the door was unlocked and open sign shining brightly. The coach entered to find out the restaurant was closed. The door sign stated it closed at 12am. Unfortunately, I can't say I had a good experience. This is my third time going there for food and drinks with my family and the third time the service has been horrible. The third time that we been told that our meals were running so slow because the kitchen was understaff. The only time we were checked on after our initial order was when I got up and walked over to our waiter and asked her what was going on. We ordered through Door Dash to our hotel room at 1130p on Monday. It took about 40 minutes for food to arrive to us. The Triple B burger was good! The ground chuck was medium well how I like, brisket was tender and bacon was not to crisp but just right, the red onions on burger chopped small and perfectly, the lettuce and tomato tasted and looked fresh onion strings could've been crispier. I think they should've put more barbecue sauce on the brisket but overall the burger tasted good. The fries had a good sweet seasoning taste. We moved to the area six months ago, so we've been trying to give business around us a chance. This has been the third order from BoomerJack's. The first order was from their website and picked up. You can tell when you enter the door that the crowd at the bar are the regulars. Had I walked in to place an order, I would have probably left without placing it. The order wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to brag about either. The next two orders were made using third party apps. In both occasions I was offered free delivery plus an additional discount, so we gave it a try once again. In both occasions, the steak was not cooked to order. Asked for medium well and received a medium rare steak. I don't know if their grill is too high, but it is definitely deceiving them into believe that it's cooked from the outside appearance. The mashed potatoes were just a runny mess. It was suppose to be the jalapeño cheedar mashed potatoes, but I can only assume they were out of both and chose to add more cream instead. They did manage to get the two sodas correct, but might I suggest, instead of supplying to-go orders with paper straws, go without. The cheap paper didn't survive long enough to finish my drink. I wish I could show the picture of that pink steak, but that was sent with my complaint to doordash for my money back. I did include the runny mashed potatoes though. BoomerJack Wings was better when it was Lonestar Wings. That was a long time ago. For Creek Crossing, this is about as good as it gets for a Bar & Grill, so they have a lot of business. Good on them! The Chips and Salsa was AMAZING... and I mean... WOW. Where did that come from! It was made from scratch. The wings are good, not perfect, but good. Running a little small.
