This was easily the worst Pluckers experience I've ever had, which is disappointing because I've had great experiences at other locations (especially Allen). Today was my birthday, and my husband and I drove about an hour specifically because I was craving the Batman drink and wanted to use my birthday dessert coupon. After being seated, it took around 10 minutes before our food arrived, and we still hadn't received our drinks. We ended up getting and eating our appetizer before any drinks showed up. About 30 minutes into our visit, our server informed us they didn't have the ingredients ready for the Batman drink. He then asked whether my husband wanted his beer now or if he wanted to wait and receive it with my drink. We asked how long my drink would take, and a few minutes later he came back saying they were waiting on a manager. When I asked how long that would be, he initially said "a little bit." After I pressed for a timeframe, he said it could be a few hours. At that point we had already wasted 30-40+ minutes of my birthday waiting on a drink that never arrived. To make matters worse, my birthday coupon was only valid for a $7 dessert, but every dessert on the menu was $8, making the coupon essentially useless. The coupon also showed a date that didn't even match my actual birthday. The most frustrating part is that we came primarily for the drinks and birthday dessert, and neither worked out. We ended up leaving after spending a significant amount of time waiting with very little communication or resolution. Despite the experience, my husband still tipped 100% on our appetizer bill. This review isn't about getting free stuff--it's about poor management, poor communication, and wasting a customer's time on a special occasion. Unfortunately, this was my first visit to the Mesquite location and will likely be my last. read more

Please be careful. I ordered online on the 18th. Was told food would be ready in 20 minutes. I got there 30 minutes later. Food was still not ready and they couldn't not give me an approximate time so I decided to cancel. I was told my refund would be ready in 2-3 days. I waited a week and nothing. I called. Gave them my name, card number, even the total and they claimed they couldn't find. The person took my name and number and said a manager would call. I offered my order number but they never took it to look up my order. 3 days later and nothing. I called again and was placed on hold. read more

I ordered take out at Pluckers Mesquite on Saturday September 26th waited approximately 23 minutes for my order before I received it and when I got home I realized that my order was incorrect. I had ordered regular holy mac but what I received was holy Mac tossed in sauce which I specifically ordered as regular so I could share with my baby nephew as he cannot eat spicy food and the sauce was spicy. It's really frustrating to receive exactly the opposite of what you order. read more

I ordered DoorDash tonight and my order stated it would be ready at 10:33. I arrived around 10:40 and my order was not ready. I waited another 25 mins for the order to come out cold after being told it was being worked on. That is so ridiculous. I understand being understaffed but there is no way if you are cooking the food fresh, that my order should be cold. Such a disappointing experience after a long freaking day and you're literally starving and now it's too late to go anywhere else. Oh by the way, these are supposed to be to be Parmesan garlic... Would not recommend this location. read more

The take-out service is horrible. I waited 15 minutes to make a take out order. The operations here is horrible. The manager stands around and watch. The lady taking the order is the only one taking orders as she has to go to the back and pick up the orders for face to face and over the phone orders. Apparently the other lady assigned to do that is not efficient as I observed her being just as rude and impolite to a guess who was waiting for her pick up order. I also observed and witnessed hearing the phone ring numerous times as the host finally picked it up and hung it up just to stop the ringing. I am taken back how awful this place is managed and the amount of money that is being lost as a result of inefficient training and poor management. I would be furious if I was the franchise owner of this establishment. Truly a disgrace to the Pluckers brand. read more

Sitting right across from 2 managers and none of them welcomed me. Aj the manager or owner checked on the person to me left side but not me. Maybe he sees color who knows. But I felt disrespected in a way because none of the managers INFRONT of me including AJ said welcome to pluckers or anything. read more

Elijah was a great server he was very patient, super friendly and very attentiv!! I never usually come to the Mesquite location because of past experience that weren't so great but he definitely made up for it!! Definitely would recommend coming here and getting him as your waiter :) read more

the food came on my chicken sandwich the bread was old, all of the fries were cold.the waitress was nice tho.

Update: unfortunately I really wanted to like this place because it's my closest location but the service every. single. time after Lauren has been horrendous. I have been more than a handful of time after original review and it hasn't gotten better. They are ALWAYS out of the holy Mac. I even called to make sure ahead of time to make sure they had it, person on the phone said yes. I arrived 10 minutes later (maybe less) and our waiter said they didn't have any. Pluckers is awesome, just don't waste your time at the Mesquite location. read more

Great customer service from the lady by the big screen TV outside . She was super nice and attentiv.

One of the best locations, food was fresh and the drinks were great. Customer service was good too, she was fast with all the requests we had. It's almost always packed ESPECIALLY on the weekends so be sure to join their waitlist through their app or on here. We ordered the buffalo bites, philly cheesesteak, bypass burger with waffle fries. Their ranch is also up there along with Wingstop. Food was too good didn't get a chance to take a before pic but I have an after pic lol read more

I joined the wait list online , as anyone who's aware of how busy pluckers get on a Friday night . we drove 30 minutes to this location we wanted to check in 20 minutes early. Well as soon as I walk up the steps I get a notification that I'm now off the waiting list. I told them thinking I still had my table because I got the notification less than a minute ago. Well they take my name and I asked do I still have to wait and she responded with a NO . As a costumer I believed her , welp another minutes go by and I still had hope . Since the employee said I didn't have to wait . NOPE 30 minutes go by and seeing everyone else gets there seat I decided to walk out the doors. ofc I see so many open tables as I walk out ! Thanks pluckers for this experience . I won't be coming here ever again!!! read more

Pluckers Wing Bar - Mesquite - works not doing their jobs - Chicken Wings Near Me - Mesquite, Texas

If you don't like their chicken, they'll give you the BIRD! This Pluckers Wing Bar in Mesquite is a nice, new and modern location of the Texas based hitting chain. I don't have much negative to say, other than that the volume of the televisions was so loud that we couldn't easily have a conversation at our table. I suppose that may be perfect depending on who you are and what you want. For most people, watching the game is a part of the appeal so I get it. Service here was stellar, and our main waitress came by many times and handled all needs, but the surprise was the other team members coming behind her to double check her work and help just in case. Awesome. Super attentive. The food? Fine! Wings, Burgers, Waffle Fries, all the guilty pleasures and sports bar staples you'd want. A unique item here are the fried macaroni and cheese sticks, which seems like they are right out of the State Fair of Texas. Very cool. Overall, this is a solid spot for lunch or dinner anytime you want the classic American sports bar and restaurant experience. It's clucking great. read more

Our server was amazing she was really attentive we were a large party of 21 two tables. Food was great it had been a while since I had been to pluckers so we came to this newer location. Our Aunt arrived at 6:15pm and We were able to use our Yelp waitlist so seating time was expected about 7:15 to 7:31 so we made sure people were all present during that time frame. Check in was done was told it was almost ready it was past the expected time at this point checked in again then claims of just needing the tables cleaned came out which ok so at this point it is about 8:25 when we are told tables are ready in a complete different area then she mentioned the cleaning earlier. read more

The featured pickle flavor we tried was great. Service is always quick for lunch. Bar is welcoming and clean.

Use to be my favorite stop but the food quality and customer service has declined last time I went I waited almost 2 hours for my margarita then they gave me the wrong one the server didn't even bother to bring it so I tipped the person who did in cash still tipped my server but not as generously because your starting right at me and not checking if my drink was done or accurately made I hope it improves soon but not sure management isn't exactly any better I've seen them doing drugs with employees in the bathroom just not my cup of tea I don't judges but in front of customers really? Have more respect for yourself and your job at least read more

Well how do you say ONE AND DONE!!!The hostess station was like a Zoo!We asked for table they took us to a booth!!!Melanie our waitress was very nice a bit nervous. Told her it was our first visit. She took our drink order Water and Coke Zero and fried pickles. She then took our orders and said pickles will be here shortly. Got the pickles as pictures fresh and hot. We ate pickles and was hoping food would be as fresh! We continued to wait and our food came to our table. Wings were not hot and tough like had been cooked a while. Wife had LarryBird sandwich. Smelled like cigarettes??? Waffle fries and tater tots were warm and soggy?Watching the TVs were good but as we left as i said ONE AND DONE!!! read more

This place has gone down the drain. These past 3 times I've gone within a 2 month time span it has been the same. Cold fries barely coated wings appetizers forgotten or brought close to ur meal. Standard has fallen alongside with service. Food not even warm. This time was the last straw. Very expensive to get bad quality / service. Won't be back read more

Everything was great food hostess and vibes!!!!!! Lunch or dinner awesome experience!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience. We waited an hour on the waitlist just to wait another 45 minutes at the host stand because our table was given away to other people by mistake. By the time we hit the 3-hour mark at the restaurant, our food still hadn't arrived, and we couldn't wait any longer. Honestly, if the hosting staff hadn't had such a terrible attitude from start to finish, I wouldn't even be writing this review. The complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was worse than the extreme delays. read more

Great food and atmosphere. Enjoy my time there. Will be back soon. Can't wait. Wonderful food and drinks.

Service was awesome food was fast and delicious all around great vist to the Pluckers in Mesquite tx.

I generally love Pluckers. In fact in my 50+ experiences, I've never had a bad experience until now. I stopped by this location for an early dinner, I was not feeling great and so when I seated at the bar and ordered 15 wings. I only ate two before I asked for a to go box, the chicken tasted kind of off very, very salty, but I thought it was because maybe I wasn't feeling good. When I got home, my family tried them and immediately said these are inedible because of way way too much salt. I had not added anything. I called the restaurant and told them that there seem to be a problem with the food. And I was asked for my contact information and told that someone would get back to me right away. It is now been four days with nothing since we threw the food away. It is a very expensive.($35) lesson that not all Pluckers are the same read more

The girl that sits the tables is an idiot. Waited an hour to get called for our table and once inside they had us waiting. Come to find out they sat other people at our table and put the blame on people "sitting themselves". No accountability is what set me off and another hour wait to be seated at a booth were the server took 20 minutes to come take our drink order. Once we put in our food order we were told it would be rushed. But once again after 45 mins our food was nowhere to be seen. We decided to leave. read more

Make the take out line more efficient or just do away with it. It makes no sense why a take out order is taking 2hrs to get pushed out and it's still cold. Also train your hostesses better they have no customer service training no sense of urgency and no consideration for the customer. It starts at the top hold the manager on duty accountable. read more

Absolutely love Pluckers, been coming here for years top tier!! Food 10/10 always
