10 day old cake
Lindsay L.

We have ordered several times and it is our Go-To BBQ place!! But VERY DISAPPOINTED tonight, not only was our delivery timed moved almost an hour later after ordering but once arrived we found the pork very dry and the turkey had a coloring and white film that was questionable, we both ate very little. Later in the evening we got our deserts with my husband having pecan pie and he is a huge pie lover and it was so bad he spit it out, i was shocked!!! Then i take a bite of my chocolate cake thinking i was for sure safe and it was soooo dry it was not edible. I looked at the sticker on the bottom of my box and it says packaged 11/10!!! Today is 11/20, ten days ago! We dont even keep baked good that long in our own home. I would greatly appreciate a call from the manager as this was all very wrong.

I tried this place for the very first time and I must say I'll definitely visit again. Sean was very helpful. I tried their moist brisket and jalapeños sausage with side of potatoes salad and cheese corn. And every single item was made with perfection.

Went in to get a pound of SLICED BRISKET came home unwrapped it and found the fattiest, mostly all shredded brisket slices I've ever seen. If I'm paying extra for sliced brisket I want nice slices of brisket. Next time I'll just go to Stiles Switch.

Chopped brisket baked potato!
Von K.

Good old fashion chopped brisket baked potato and coleslaw and that did not disappoint! Great service too from the 4 young men working! They were all friendly, helpful and very respectful! Up next, smoked turkey!

Great bbq and reasonably priced. Sometimes the brisket is a little dry but still good. This is my go-to bbq in Austin

New school BBQ done right…read more Atmosphere: We visited during the Labor Day weekend and was expecting a long line, so we ventured out bright and early before the store opened. There was already a small line snaking outside (thankfully covered from the sun and there were some benches to sit on). Before the restaurant opened, they walked around with menus and took drink orders, and even had water outside for everyone. Once it opened, service was quick and efficient, with guests ordering at the counter and either taking it to go or seating themselves with staff preparing peach paper and napkins as place settings. Food: As our first BBQ joint we've visited in Texas, it set a very high bar for us. The standouts/highlights were definitely the pork belly with the nice peach tea glaze that helped cut the richness and sweetness (one piece each is more than enough), the beef rib with chimichurri that brought some parsley and garlic to the pepper bark and bite, the lengua special that was rich and tender at the same time, and the beef brisket burnt ends that were beautifully marbled and smoked. The rest of our platter was not bad, consisting of sausage with a good snap and the pork ribs and brisket which were tender. The scalloped potatoes were also on the heavier side, and we couldn't finish it, but the zucchini salad was a very nice contrast with the acidity to help us cut the richness of the bbq'd meats. The dessert was also a nice end that tied everything together. Service: The staff both at the counter and helping clear tables were very friendly to speak to, and threw in burnt ends as we mentioned it was our first time in Texas. They even helped us take a photo with our Polaroid camera when we asked! Definitely worth the wait and would come back if we ever got the chance

They also very fun of merchandise that I really wanted to get as a while. I got there about 30 minutes before opening and I was able to get my food about an hour afterwards. They went over a quick blur with everyone about how everything worked you that about the specials that they had for the day and also if you wanted to try things you can order things by the slice and not necessarily buy pound or the half pound. This freed things up for me to be able to try everything. I got the drunken turkey, a pork rib, pork belly, jalapeno popper sausage, and then there brisket. I knew there's no way I was going to be able to finish the food so also didn't get to order any of the signs or desserts this time of around. They're already a good maybe 20 or 30 people in line ahead of me when I got there prior to opening. Everyone looked very excited and wanting to try the food. I'm glad I did not mobile order the minimum order because there's no way I would have finished that. And at the very end they were able to give me a container that I could take on the airplane for my flight later this afternoon. There's so many delicious things on there many that I wanted to try. Sounded like a lot of people were ordering tacos too. There is a good amount of seating inside and also outside. Overall it's a fun experience and a very glad I came all this way here to experience everything.

Interstellar BBQ - Love the tender juice beef rib. The flavor profile is great and not too mushy. The beef brisket has a great blend of firmness and juiciness.

Lazy G BBQ Company in Cedar Park is exactly what it sounds like: lazy. For a BBQ joint in Texas,…read morewhere the standard is high, this place is embarrassingly bad. Rudy's BBQ should be the baseline, yet Lazy G doesn't even reach that. I ordered the ribs and brisket, hoping for something decent, but both were far below average. The brisket was especially disappointing--you could see the congealed fat right in the slices (see pictures). Serving meat at the right temperature is BBQ 101, and their failure here made the texture and flavor a cold, greasy mess. The sides weren't any better. The cucumber salad was bland, with just a dusting of dill and no seasoning whatsoever. Adding salt and vinegar should be a no-brainer, but apparently, even the basics were too much effort here. I was excited to try the smoked mushroom side (as a mushroom lover), but it was downright unpleasant. There was zero smokiness, and the sauce tasted like a watered-down BBQ sauce, giving the button mushrooms a soggy, unappetizing texture. The BBQ sauce was another letdown--it tasted like bottled Sweet Baby Ray's. For a BBQ place, using (or at least mimicking) store-bought sauce is the ultimate red flag that they just don't care. Even at $22 for a two-meat plate, the quality doesn't justify the price. In short, Lazy G BBQ Company doesn't just fall short--it doesn't even try. If their goal was to live up to their name, they succeeded; this food is lazy, uninspired, and, frankly, not worth your time or money.

I would go back just for that pork belly with the black pepper bark! OMG…read more....... My husband never eats mac and cheese and I'll be darned if he didn't finish my Trashy Mac and Cheese for me that evening! Finally! Some mac and cheese that is actually delicious and creamy. The toppings of brisket, bbq sauce, french onions and jalapenos all stirred together makes each bite a little slice of heaven. WOW! The next morning he said, "I kept telling myself I need to leave a little bit more for Lee Lee but I kept opening it back up and eating more until it was all gone!" Good thing I had my bites right when we arrived at our hotel because I was so hungry. My husband ordered sliced brisket and we lucked out and got a few of the brisket burnt ends. They weren't all "candified" like a lot of the other bbq places serve; but they were smoky and delicious. I also enjoyed the potato salad. We were excited to order the smoked mushrooms but honestly, they could have used a bit more flavor for me. You could just tap the salt shaker and it would have been fine. I appreciated the creative side dish and love how the bbq scene has doubled down on the side hustle! It was cold out so we sat on the enclosed patio that had heaters and were very comfortable. We order a couple of beers and waited for our food. The service was friendly. This was a nice dining experience.

107 Yelp Reviews with a 4.7/5.0 rating...real or not...that was the question!…read more Bigg Belly BBQ is located in a food truck in the food truck park at the intersection Anderson Mill Road and Pond Springs Road. Today, I finally got an opportunity to taste this highly rated BBQ. People...the hype is real!!! We purchased a turkey leg, sausage, brisket (what they're known for) and chicken. We also got two sides of potato salad and dirty rice. I am not a big fan of brisket. However, the owner allowed me to have a sample of the brisket. I fell quickly, madly in love with the brisket. The brisket is so flavorful, tender and moist. So, so good!!! Next, I tried the turkey leg. The meat literally fell off the bone. Yummy to the Nth degree!!! Now, let me talk about this sausage...I have never eaten sausage this good. The sausage was (yes was...we ate it all!) dense, yet moist and super tasty. This sausage did not have a spec of grease. I think I ate most of the sausage. The chicken was also super moist and tender...made you want to slap yourself. The sides were good, however, the standouts without a doubt were the meats. The owner/chef was very personable, and highlighted the preparations associated with his menu items. He created a welcoming and chill environment... I highly recommend trying Bigg Belly BBQ...you will certainly enjoy your dining experience. Pro tip: Sunday and Monday Bigg Belly BBQ is closed. Also, the number listed on the Yelp website is for their catering business. I submitted corrections to Yelp today.

Decent-sized juicy flavorful pieces of pork belly. The spicy pork was good; tender and flavorful, but it was a bit oily on the bottom. The yangnum chicken wings had a good, bold flavor and were fairly large. The soy garlic could have had more sauce. We enjoyed the wings, but they could be juicier. It was a bit pricey at $28 for 15 wings. Definitely a great late night food option.
