When we were driving to the location I thought I must have the wrong address because it's an industrial park and it was jam packed but we found parking. I ordered a double cheese smash burger with fries on their tablet screen. Once I received the order from one of the lockers I had to request more ketchup because I only received two small packets. The burger was delicious and the fries were great but were way too salty.

Beware of this place. I was looking forward to a smash burger, unfortunately I received something closer to a elementary school cheeseburger. This place definitely is not what it looks like on Instagram. The Patties were not smashed at all. They were just thin meat. No crisp no flavor. They weren't even hot. The burger comes with nothing. No sauce, no toppings, just meat, cheese and bun. Even ordering extra sauce for 0.75 cents I received absolutely nothing until I had to drive back to ask for sauce because it was that dry. The fries were very soggy and cold. The sauce is a mix of mayo and ketchup. It's giving absolutely nothing to the burger. We waited 35-40 minutes for cold food and our order to be wrong. Don't go here unless you would love to be disappointed, even then, just rob a school lunch cafeteria because at least then you'd get a drink and a fruit with your meal.

Hmm... very mediocre food. I've been wanting to try a Smashburger for quite a while. Found this place as we were leaving Disneyland! When we drove into the parking lot, we were a bit confused. But we saw people entering the building and leaving the building to get food. No human contact, order on a pad they will text you when your food is ready and you will go pick it up in your little cubby. We got our food right away and ate it in the car, so it was pretty fresh. But it was very very soggy. Like the bun was just mushy. I wouldn't say it had any good flavor either for the meat patty. French fries were just standard nothing special. I definitely wouldn't be back, I'd probably recommend you skip this place unfortunately.

Came by before going to the golf range down the street. We ordered online and received a text to go to a certain locker to retrieve our order. The food came out faster than was stated on the time they said it would be done, not complaining though since we were hungry. I think I messed up with the inside out and didn't realize there was nothing in my burger so don't do the same thing I did. The fries were okay to me but the burger patty itself was amazing. The beef patty was juicy and lots of flavor. Definitely one of the better burger spots to visit.

The second visit a true disappointment! All 3 of our burger meals were prepared incorrectly. We ordered them without sauce. It took over an hour to get our food and all burgers had sauce. We drove back waited another half an hour to get THE SAME burgers back!! Fries were completely cold at this point, such a let down!

I've been lately on a smashed burger phase and found this one closer to my home. I was looking at the pictures and also interested in how these open food kitchens worked. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of this method and unsure how successful these will be but only time will tell. I imagine rent is good but there really is no service. Ordered a smashburger and fries. The food I received did not look like the pictures. The patty did not have the charred outer crust and the patty was seasoned decently. The fries were a bit undercooked but I liked the seasoning on them. The price is pretty high for the amount of food and quality and regretfully I will most likely not come again.

My boyfriend and I were in the area and were craving a burger so we decided to try this place out :) I thought the pick up operation was cool and unique! Furthermore, after we paid on the phone, we just had to wait for our order, and it said that it would text me once my order was ready. Almost 20 minutes later (we were waiting a bit just because we knew a lot of people would be ordering at the time), my bf went in and i guess you have to go in and check in on the tablet too? We wish we knew that so maybe more direction online for it? :-) On the plus side, this would be good for people who can just pick up quick after work or something but honestly I think McD's would be better and faster. I got the single burger and my bf got the double. I wish there were criss cut fries on the menu when we went! When my bf bit into his burger, there was a really hard white piece maybe a bone of some sort? Not sure but it hurt the inside of his mouth when he bit into it. the buns were super soggy. I saw in previous yelp reviews people had the same problem. They were super mushy and felt super wet, in the end i just ended up eating the burger and not the buns. Also, we bought 2 ranch so we could dip our fries but unfortunately, we didn't get them :/ Overall, for these two burgers and fries, it was about $31. Not worth the price at all.

I try to avoid a bad review without consulting with customer service but this experience has been all bad. We went to the location believing there was a storefront to enjoy our lunch but this is a ghost kitchen. Okay so since we're here already we went to order. And then there is absolutely no one to talk to or even call. Then I got hair in my food and this was fuxen disgusting. Burger disgusting regardless. I would high recommend keeping away from this place. Terrible experience

I don't like giving bad reviews.. but I ordered 70$ worth of food... waited almost 50mins and then get sent a message that you have been refunded and your order was cancelled with no explanation. When you're planning for multiple people and then you wait so long thinking food has been taken care of ... only to know you wasted 1 hour and have to start all over somewhere else. I'd rather get bad food then this. read more

Smashed out is a cool spot to pick up good food. From smash burgers, fries, ramen, Hawaiian food and other delicious items. It was my first time and I'll most likely come back. I found them on yelp one day after craving something to eat but couldn't decide. I saw smash burgers and I'm always down for one and this spot looked good from pictures and reviews. I decided to give them a try and when you first get there, it's in a warehouse area and from the outside, it just says food pick up. Plenty of parking spots and you can either order online or for there concept, there's two iPad or kiosk to order from and pay. Then you wait for a text to confirm and then let you know which locker to pick up your food. No where to eat inside or outside. I took it back to the car to get my grub on. I went with a double smash burger combo with fries. You can customize your burger but I just went with grilled onions. The flavors were good and tasty, fresh cut fries with salt. Overall, I'll be back to see what else they got to offer. read more

Do not come here this is not a real restaurant. This spot is simply a ghost kitchen and I honestly don't even know why they have a page on yelp. The burgers here are NOT good there seems to be no seasoning to the meat whatsoever. The buns are soggy and the fries are something that you'll find out of the freezer at your local grocery store. This is the type of food that you begrudgingly order off of your food delivery app because there's a lack of options. I rarely leave bad reviews but this place left me disappointed. First of all, this place doesn't taste good and they made my order wrong. Also, this place looks like a warehouse. You pickup your food from a locker and there is no one in sight. I paid for a soda but did not receive it. I couldn't claim my soda because there was not a worker in sight. burger was a solid 3.5/10 patty was smashed but it was still thick had little to no crust which barely tasted any remnants of beef. if you had a smash burger you'd know what i'm talking about. im sensitive to salt but this patty was bland. the buns were way too soft. The bottom bun held all of the steam so it was just drenched with fat and steam lol. fries were alright but a lil too salty pretty disappointing for a $14-15 combo meal with no tip and a processing fee read more

This is the stupidest most annoying concept ever conceived. It has no personality whatsoever you feel like you are at a locker storage house warehouse place it's so strange no interface with people whatsoever. This place is kind of weird... the ordering system is pretty flawed. You order via a touch screen tablet, but it's very glitchy and laggy. Once you pay for your order, your food will be given via a locker. No human interaction at all, if you prefer that. It took a long time for our food to be done. The burger was pretty good! But I don't think it's worth the visit back. read more

Ordered tonight through DoorDash. Been wanting to try some new burger spots in the area since we've exhausted all the other options. Found this one and was really intrigued! Smash burgers are picking up in locations, but the execution is sometimes lacking. Smashed Out was a pleasant surprise. Got a double patty with bacon though was almost disappointed when I was looking at my burger and thought that I was only given one patty. I was wrong though, cause there were two patties in there but smashed pretty thin. Was tasty nonetheless. Our only concern was on their DoorDash menu they offered crinkle fries, but when the order arrived we had gotten all regular fries. We were let down a bit cause we were expecting crinkle cut fries, so I had to take a star off. Hope to try this place again and next time to receive what we expect to have ordered on the menu. read more

I ordered my food at the tablet as soon as I got there. The smash burger meal 1. It took 39 minutes to get my food. I was told there was a large order before mine. Ok, it happens. I get my food, go in my car. The burger was fresh but my fries were cold and soggy. I didn't want to go back in and wait longer, so I just dealt with it. Burger was good and fresh . Miscommunication on the tablet. I did not check extra smash sauce thinking I just wanted the normal amount. My burger ended up not having any sauce. Overall, fries sucked, burger was good but pricey. Be aware this is a ghost kitchen, so takeout only and no human interaction. You can order on DoorDash or on the tablet inside (which is super laggy btw) and you pick up your order from a locker. First off, this place is pretty pricey. I paid $40 for two meals and a lemonade (also a "meal" doesn't even have a drink included...so not really a meal). You get a text when your order is ready, and we ended up waiting almost 45 minutes, pretty ridiculous. Our drink wasn't even filled to the top, and there was nobody at the front to ask for them to fill it all the way so we just left. Lemonade tasted like watered down kool-aid. The fries were average, they look seasoned but absolutely no flavor...not even enough salt. Burger was pretty decent, would give it a 8/10, I do like that they add chopped chilis inside. Overall, not worth in my opinion. One perk is that they're open late, until 1am, so I would probably only come back if I'm looking for a drunchie meal after a night out. read more

30 minute wait for a burger when they aren't busy. When asked for a refund the person working up front goes into the back and hides for ten minutes, then says they have to text the manager to refund your order even though you paid in store. I tried this place out, I was looking for something different because I had some serious junk food cravings. So went for the crazies thing in the menu, the Smashed Out Loaded Fries. First off. There was so much cheese you could not find the angus patties, like a gopher I had to burrow through the Mac & Cheese...but at last they were found. But the idea of mac & cheese on top of fries sounded cool, but horrible execution. The fries were soggy, the Mac & cheese was cold and the only reason I ate about 1/3rd of it was because I was starving. However the angus beef was very good, and I think their burgers are probably going to be much better. I gave a 3 star because 1. Creativity, made me want to try it, 2. The angus beef an 3. I gotta take some responsibility for ordering something on the menu that frankly should be removed. I will give them another try. read more

Well to be honest I'm disappointed. I read the reviews and see the good looking photos and 5 star reviews and said hey this looks good. The triple stack burger wasn't that smashed and cooked crispy how a traditional smash burger should come. No seasoning on the meat. The buns were not bad. The frys were cold but could be good. The Mac n cheeses is straight store bought and the grilled cheese I can make better at home. You can only order online and then when you go to pick it up its sitting in a locker. That doesn't bother me but what does is there alot more reasturants that serve food from there and get picked up. I'm guessing these are just line cooks pumping out food and if it is you can tell . Meh :( no bueno. I was really hopeful when I found a new smash burger place next to my sister's house but all I can say is save your dinero and spend your money elsewhere. I should have read the reviews because the bad ones are true. The burgers do not match the business pictures. I also found the meat to be very dry and no seasoning. Don't recommend it and overrated. Bottom line: false advertisement, no flavor, sloppy, and EXPENSIVE. If burgers are all you cook how can you not make them good? It's your only product. read more

Saw a table near us order the chicken teriyaki plate and it looked delicious as well. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

The business have a small footprint in a crowed mini-mall anchored by Starbuck and the traffic that entails. Parking is a premium, and I can see how at times unavailable. In now way a deal-breaker, but be aware you may have to be creative to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is simple and unremarkable. Seven or so tables will likely accomodate 40 or so people. What we were not prepared for was how the food makes you completely forget about the spartan seating area. After being greeted by a friendly manager (I apologize for not getting his name), we decided on the FireFly burger and the double Smashburger. We rounded out the meal with fries and drinks. Oh. My. Lord. These burgers are amazing! Nicely charred outside but still juicy inside. FireFly using Halal beef, so you know the quality of the meat is among the best you'll find. Fries have a unique seasoning that seperates them froom most other burger joint fries. Absolutely delicious! If you want perhaps the best burger around, find this little gem on the corner of Chapman and Euclid in Garden Grove. I promise you won't regret it.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. While the food at this establishment was passable, it didn't quite meet the high expectations I had. Regrettably, the service I encountered was nothing short of appalling. Despite the warm ambiance, the individual assisting me failed to deliver even a basic level of hospitality.
