I didn't pick the food up so I can't pinpoint the service there or how the place was. I do appreciate my wife since I was working and she picked up the food for us. I did like the take out but I did like it even more after reheating the food a bit to render the fat a bit more on the pork. That combined with the bbq sauces made the meal a bit better I would love to try this place again in person and see what it's all about.

We were told the AC was running but that the ventilation from the grills was making the dining room hot. Regardless of the cause, we spent the entire meal sweating and feeling sick from the heat. When we finally walked outside, the 95°F outdoor air actually felt cooler than the dining room. They provided handheld fans, which was a nice gesture in theory, but the fans were visibly filthy and covered in food splatters. The bathrooms were also extremely dirty, with a sign mentioning plumbing issues. Plumbing problems don't excuse poor cleanliness. I understand that equipment issues happen, but this felt like a situation where the restaurant chose to keep operating rather than prioritize the comfort and cleanliness of its guests. For a restaurant charging what it does, that's disappointing. I will not be returning.

Spam musubi is one of those things that either works for kids or turns into a negotiation, and here there was no negotiation. They were happy, which meant the adults got to eat in peace for a minute. Dessert sealed it. They have a version of Dole Whip that tastes just like Disneyland. I am not being cute about that. Same soft, cold, pineapple hit you remember from the park, which is a wild thing to get after a plate of ribs in Anaheim. We finished full and already half-planning the next visit.
