Smashed N Sauced is a brand new spot tucked inside a gas station in North Austin, and it's already making a strong first impression. I went with the 6-wing combo fries, coleslaw, and a fountain drink and everything came out fresh and flavorful. The wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated was the customer service they let me sample a few of their sauces before I decided, which made the experience feel super welcoming and showed they actually care about getting it right. I got the double cheese with bacon and I have to admit it met all my expectations. The bun is not your typical white bread, I was told it's called a "euro bun". The roasted chilies added just a subtle note of heat. As for the chocolate shake, it was pretty similar to what you'd get at In-N-Out Burger and the previously frozen fries were fairly average, not home cut. As far as burgers go, I would definitely add this place to your "go to" list for good and unique burgers that deliver for the money.
