I like a good old-fashioned burger. The onions chopped into cubes, the tomatoes sliced thick, and the chopped lettuce. The bread looks like a spatula smashed it on the grill. Yep, that's a good old-fashioned hamburger, and that's the burgers at Whataburger. The girl at the window never forgets to say, "Have a good day" as she takes the next order. I just love it! Oh, last year, I went to the Whataburger pop-up at SXSW. It was nice, they showed so many images and made a huge-sized hamburger with fries. It was one of the best pop-ups at SXSX. In the back of the pop-up was a very nice setup for relaxing and playing games, along with lounge chairs and tables. I had a really great time! This place needs to hire new management. We arrived there was 1 person in front of us . Manager was eating with 3 employees laughing it up while we waited 10 minutes with no one at the front counter . Random employee on break went to back to tell someone to help in which we all heard him say I don't give a F... make them wait . At this point there's more than 9 people waiting. This is probably the best Whataburger in the North Austin/Pflugerville area. My wife and I literally drive out of the way and pass others to order from here. The staff have been friendly, even the new trainees. The service is quick: drive thru, pick up, eating in, you name it. The inside is clean because this is a new location. I went through the drive-through and from ordering to finish was efficient and easy. Jose J was my cashier and his customer service was amazing. The place is big and spacious and modern. The pickup window is right at the front and they were smiling when I walked in, excellent service from Emily. I recommend a Whataburger with grilled jalapeños. I'm also ordering a chocolate shake, definitely recommend ordering dessert. They are advertising a delicious looking raspberry milkshake. read more

Never will eat at this chain Staff were extremely helpful and present. I hate styrofoam cups, makes the drink taste bad to me. The sandwich was dry and had to be an old refried piece of meat. Could barely bite it, it was super hard. Flavor was not my favorite, similar to hot sauce but no chicken flavor. Drive through at 1:30 with no cars in line took 15 min to get to the window, they take your money then have you pull up and wait again! That was another 8 min. They brought out my drink only, which turned out to be all soda water, waited another 5 min for the food, sent the drink back, waited for that to be corrected. No napkins in the bag, the coke I traded for tasted like lighter fluid and the fish sandwich was bitter tasting with a half slice of tomato and wilted lettuce... tossed all of this swill in the trash. We don't have Whataburger in California, so you bet that I will be ordering some food here. I got the Patty Melt meal, and it was pretty good. I got really full after eating everything, so that is a plus for me. One thing that was a bit confusing is their drive-thru. There are two stalls to order (one on the left side, the other on the right side), but when it comes to paying and getting your order, if you are on the left stall, you would just proceed straight to the window, however if you order on the right stall, you would have to cross all the way to the left lane just to get to the window. I feel that that is a recipe for disaster, especially for those that are not from there. read more

This location is the worst location ever. Always make u wait like 40 min in the drive through and then give u the wrong order. Sometimes more than once! It's insane. We were excited when they put one here in the neighborhood but it's not even worth going to. They never apologize either. Sometimes they skip u in line when ur ordering and get like 3 cars on one speaker before they switch to the other one and take ur order. This place has to be the worst whataburger I've ever seen. We ordered & not only did it take about 40 minutes from drive through to food but they had us pull forward to wait. For a new location, management here needs to clock into training and make sure they pass each test. I was in the drive thru line, waited for almost 20 mins, finally got to the window to have the store manager ( Jeffrey) whom was the person who took my order to tell me that they can't accept Apple Pay and that I would have to go inside and wait in line just to pay for my meal, I might as well just go inside and and order to go if they have a thing where they don't use Apple Pay from the drive thru. ( it be nice for Jeffery to ask how will you be paying when he takes someone order and tell them we don't use Apple Pay from the drive thru after the order is done) How are you going to make a customer wait in the drive thru for almost 20 mins and have them finally get to the window and tell them to come inside to pay just cause their ( arm) card machine doesn't extend far enough?? I have NEVER written a review for a fast food restaurant because it's pretty much as expected, but this is the SLOWEST Whataburger in the entire world. And that isn't an exaggeration. If you don't believe me, look at all the other reviews for this place. The employees all seem to think they're doing you a favor by blessing you with their presence and the drive thru is a complete joke with the amount of time you have to wait. I could walk to the domain and back and they still won't have your food ready. Came in around midnight on a Sunday evening/Monday morning and pulled into the drive-thru. The person on the speaker said that the register to take drive-thru orders was broken but we could come in and make an order or make an order through the app for pick up. We pulled into a parking space, made an online order through the app to pick up and it said it'd be ready around 12:15am. Cool. We waited in the car until 12:15am and I went in. There were at least 5 other people waiting around the registers with receipts waiting for their food as well as another guy waiting on an online order and more people walking in to place orders. No one at the registers. Finally, an older woman came to ask if I'd been helped after a minute or so and I gave her my name and she looked around and it was still in the computer- no one printed out the ticket and she said it's being made and took the ticket to the back. It's being made? Looks like it was never started. We eventually got our order and left around 12:45am. The guy who was there before who also ordered online said he'd been waiting since 11:45pm! I wished him luck and left. We got home and the chicken tender meal didn't have the gravy that it was supposed to come with, my burger I requested to have toasted buns was burnt on the top, the spicy ketchups I ordered on the app were not included (but we got 4 straws for 2 drinks...), and both of our fries were limp and luke warm. If you want Whataburger, just drive by this location. Or maybe come in during the day. Who knows, maybe the drive thru register magically works during the day and "breaks" at night. read more

How does this location actually make money? It's a new restaurant and is being sabotaged by the employees. Is there even a manager? In 4 visits, I've gotten a correct order once. Attempted grabbing 2 BOBs and some hash browns around 9am on a Monday, and after being trolled by the order taker asking stupid questions thinking it's funny, the line didn't move for 20 minutes so I had to leave to go to work. I would give more stars but this location is always superbly and unreasonably slow. Sometimes they'll get your order wrong by forgetting the cheese. If you order on the app, your food likely won't be ready until at least 10 minutes past the time it says it will be ready. Even today I ordered on the app well before I left my house and still had to wait. They weren't busy. Maybe understaffed? I mean, isn't it "fast food" for a reason?
