The woman taking my order, cut me off in the middle of me trying to order. It's like she could only handle a couple sentences at a time. I've never to smash Berg so I don't really know how to order I guess. I told her I wanted a classic burger with tomato onion, pickles, and before I could finish it when she cut me off And she proceeded to tell me everything that comes on the classic burger and then said now what don't you want on it. Good Lord! Then, I ordered sweet potato waffle fries. And she gives me Smashburger regular fries. This woman did not listen at all. Tried to use a BOGO coupon. Employee didn't know how to do it after taking our order. Asked us to wait to pay so he could take other people's orders. If there is one way for me to enjoy lunch, it's when no one else is around to watch me eat! I am gyess this store does earlier lunch rushes, as I was in around noon and thw place was relatively empty. But that didn't stop the staff from being warm and friendly themselves, they were even able to keep a solid conversation. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming. The service was quick but only because I ordered on their app to pick up. They gave me an estimated wait time of 20 minutes and it was ready in 5 which was not the best outcome since I still had to drive there. This lead to my food not being hot like I wanted it to be. The burger and tots were super oily. To the point where it overpowered the flavour of the burger/tots. In addition, it was over 16 dollar for me meal and they charged me a 10 cent service fee? Tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt. Waiting for my order that I ordered online. They told me it would be ready for pickup 30 mins ago, I'm still waiting, it's not that crowded inside either. Only one kid working the counter and seems like the kitchen crew in back is super slow, I won't be back and neither will my coworkers. Spent my entire lunch break waiting for food that we ordered online, and they confirmed it was ready prior to arriving there. Don't ever go to this location, go next door to subway or dominoes. I just want to say Jenna and her team rocked today busy and all this lady goes above and beyond she aims to make sure that customers get their order I know what some the other reviews are saying idk who was working them days but today 10/18 7PM I treated myself to dinner and observed a awesome staff working good together communicating positively to get customers in and out. And as I'm sure the ppl from the bad reviews been here many of times and only leave that one bad review instead of all the experiences I have been to this location twice and pleased both times, I work down the street but don't live to close but I will travel just to show Jenna and her team some love and chef the brisket burger was spot on well done with a slight crisp to my tastebuds... I always look forward to enjoying Smash Burger. Unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. I ordered the Colorado Burger which claims to have grilled green chilies on it. The chilies were not grilled and they weren't fully cut up so I had a big hunk of a green chili on my burger instead of sliced and grilled. I had to take it off. I did order a single but the patty was very small and didn't even cover the bun. Lastly, Tots were very greasy! On a oditive note, the service was good. When I lived down in Englewood, The SmashBurger on Broadway and Floyd was one of my favorite places to get a burger. I was really bummed when they closed but then I moved up north and closer to the one on north quebec so o was glad to be able to get them again. Unfortunately it's definitely not worth the trip. We placed an online order and I went to pick it up. I walked to the counter and no one was there, which is no big deal. A girl in the back saw me and yelled walking forward "what do you want?" And before I could respond she said "we don't have it!" I just looked at her confused and said "I'm just here to pick up an online order." And gave her the name. She went to the back and looked at the bagged orders and said "oh look, we do have it." She then grabbed it, walked over to me and shoved it in my hands and said "here, take it, I don't wanna see your face anymore!" I'm not really sure what happened or what I did to get this type of service, but it doesn't make a person want to come back. I've never met this person before and I was in the restaurant for no more that 20 seconds and only said the one sentence, so it not like I provoked her in anyway. Plus the food wasn't cooked well. The fries were ice cold and burgers were lukewarm at best. Overall, I wish this could be my go to burger place but I don't see that happening now. read more

My last meal in Denver was at Smashburger. My dear friend recommended that we go and eat here. She and her husband headed over there in their car, with my following behind them in my rental. This location felt roomy when you first walked in. The idea is that you order at the front, get your drink and food, and then sit down at a free table. I ordered the truffle, mushroom, and swiss burger. I got fries and a drink. Everything was delicious. The burger was tasty, juicy, and flavourful. I even liked the fries! Thank goodness for the drink to wash everything down. I didn't do any refills, but you could if you needed to. The dining area was clean and roomy. We sat there, ate, and chatted. Food is always fine... It's greasy burgers and fries! However, this particular restaurant is not as clean as other Smashburgers I've been to. One time my family went at 8pm on a Friday and a lot of tables had customers, but the staff started cleaning and closing up shop. It was a bit distracting because they were moving chairs/tables and condiments around. I especially noticed because I couldn't get to any of the hot sauces... The restroom was also dirty and smelled of something foul (couldn't tell if it was old urine or if it was mixed with other odors). I didn't bother touching anything with my bare hands and never used their toilet due to the smell. On another occasion I ordered ahead one time and they got my order wrong. They gave me something without bacon while I ordered a burger with bacon. Instead of apologizing and providing acknowledgment of their mistake, the Hispanic lady just took my to go bag and disappeared into the kitchen for several minutes while the cashier rang me up with a new order. I'm not sure if they did that because of language barriers or if they just don't have good service. Either way, their mistake caused me to wait there (which defeated the purpose of me calling in ahead of time) and they didn't correct their mistake free of additional charges nor acknowledged anything. I'm not there for free perks, but they costed me time and made me late. I've been to this location and every time they seem to get my order completely wrong. They got it wrong 2 times. Bad customer service and were complete slow even thou the store was empty. This was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I ordered on Smashburger's website for pickup. When I got there, chick said someone had already picked it up. I was like well, it wasn't me... she said they would make it for free. I went out to the car for a few minutes to let my friend know it would be awhile. When I got back in to check, the manager was at the front and let me know they would not be remaking my order because door dash picked it up for me. We also got 2 sides of regular fries, and a side of fried pickles. $30 total- kind of pricy for burgers, but not terrible. It took almost 15 minutes to get our food (to go), and we brought it home. Why do the takeout bags smell like a fish market??? I could not figure it out. All of our orders were correct but lord have MERCY, everything was sooooooo salty it was nearly inedible. You can see the chunks of salt on my black bean burger (which looked so unappetizing...literally just black beans and a ton of salt.) The fried pickles were extra salty. I couldn't finish it. On 12/17/2023, I visited the store at 7305 E. 35th Ave., Suite 165, Denver, at around 8:00 p.m. It was not busy when my husband and I arrived, there being only one other table occupied. After placing our order, my husband, paid the tab and provided a tip. We sat at a table and waited for our order. About 10 or so minutes later, the food arrived at our table. The fries looked very old, and I tried one. It was cold. I brought it out to the counter, and the woman on duty, who identified herself as the manager, Jenna, put her hand on the fries, agreed they were cold, and said she would remake the fries. I then returned to my table and tried the burger, which was also cold. I asked my husband how his food was, and he told me his order was also cold. We brought the food up to the counter and told "Jenna" we wanted a refund. The manager immediately lashed out, saying Smashburger does not provide refunds. I asked for her bosses' number, and she refused to provide a name or phone number, and screamed at me to contact the corporate office if I did not like it. For another ten minutes or so, while other customer's were trying to get their to-go orders, I continually asked for her bosses' number or the corporate office number, while she continually screamed at me and was, in general, extraordinarily rude and abusive. She finally erupted and screamed that I was to immediately leave her store. She did not provide a refund. Another customer who had received his to-go order while witnessing her tirade, waited for me outside and expressed his sorrow that anyone should be treated that way. I expect a full refund and that this "manager" be disciplined. My husband did record part of the interaction which I am happy to share. Do not, in any way, try to provide a refund in the form of gift certificates, as I will never, ever, frequent Smashburger again. read more

Was standing in line and the lady who was hosting I guess but she was also serving and cleaning tables told multiple single and two tops behind us to go ahead and find a small table. Sit down we were at three top so I waited patiently, which is fine I understand everyone's busy after about 20 minutes I could see that there were 3 four top tables open so I made myself to the back and asked her if we could go ahead and come in and sit down. She then told me that I need to go back upfront and wait because they were going to stop seating because of the kitchen. To be completely fair, like 3.5-4 stars. I actually enjoyed everything but for the price, which isn't unreasonable, I'd opt for another burger joint. The line moves quickly and efficiently but the employees seem like they aren't happy at all. They weren't rude but I didn't get a welcoming vibe. The regular fries were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. The smash-fries went the opposite direction. The "flavor" was there but they were too greasy and a tad bit soggy. Despite being the signature fries, they were underwhelming. My burger patties were so ridiculously small, it actually made me laugh. It looked like 2 extra large slider patties were placed on a regular burger bun. One of the cheese slices were melted and the other was cold as if they forgot to add the second slice. Not only that, the cheese was a lot bigger than the patty... Luckily, as I bit down on my burger, I was content. I enjoyed both of the burgers although the jalapeño burger was a little to spicy for my tolerance. The Oreo milkshake was great! A full milkshake glass with the extras in the silver container. The only think i would change is the thickness. It was a little runny and I would've liked a little more whip cream, but that may just be my preference. I am not sure why I hadn't visited this burger joint sooner! This location is minutes from my house. The burgers are stupendously tasty! I ordered the Classic Smash - nothing fancy, just a straight up satisfying burger. My favorite part of the meal were the smash fries which are not as thin as shoelaces ties and smaller than regular fries. It's the perfect size. They are tossed in olive oil, rosemary and garlic - no need for dipping in anything! read more
