Since this whole lockdown we have ordered take out from here twice. The pictures come from the second time since I remembered to take pictures BEFORE eating everything. I absolutely loveeeeeed the amount of cheese and how much time they put into each dish we have ordered. My husband doesn't like cheese but thanks to their make your own Stromboli's he asks for less cheese and they give him the best low cheese Stromboli he's ever had. Their on pizzas are FABULOUS! With new owners and managers, this location has gone downhill quick. Ordered a pizza and some wings, which we have ordered before without issue, which came as charcoal burnt and the wings were under cooked despite both being requested as well done. Manager answered the phone with an I don't have time for this attitude and then blamed us for the pizza being burnt to a literal crisp. If some one reads this please know that good customer service is calling the customer and making sure they are okay with the disaster you made before delivering it, and treating your customers as if charcoal pizza was there fault is not the best strategy for customer service. read more

We used to order from Pizza Hut on Friday nights. After having a few orders that did not taste as well as it used to we decided to try Black Jack pizza. Not only are they cheaper, they also deliver when they say they will and they never go short on the cheese! Tonight we ordered and were suppose to pay cash. The driver showed up and we had to large of a bill. It was absolutely our fault, not hers. She didn't show one hint of frustration while she waited during our payment over the phone to her store. After 40 minutes they called us and told us we were out of their delivery area and that we needed to go order from another location twice as far away. WTF? Of course the other location told us no. Called the original location back and the manager girl just hung up. Wife was pregnant and far along in term at that time. This is the 2nd time I have had problems at this location. The last time I ordered from them we got a delivery estimate of 40 minutes. The pizza did not arrive until 2 hours after the order was placed. We called several times and each time the only answer we received was that the delivery driver left already. Tonight I ordered a pizza online the only options were pan hand tossed and thick crust thick crust was more expensive $3 but that's what I wanted. when it arrived it looked nothing like the pizza pictured. I was a little upset but I like their pizza and I thought I would at least try it. It just did not taste good. There was little to no cheese extra sauce and it just didn't taste good. I called the restaurant to let them know that i got the wrong pizza. John answered the phone, when I explained the situation he argued with me and told me that's what their pizza looks like. I explained further that the pizza is clearly hand tossed and does not look anything like what was online he continued to argue. I was a loyal blackjack pizza person, but the quality of pizza is so inconsistent these days. I now look for other places to get pizza from and it is a shame because they used to have the best pizza around. Their customer service is also not as good as it used to be. With that being said when the pizza is good it's great, but I think they're fast cooking or something because the last few times I've had flat pizza that was horrible and cheese tasted funny. Holy cow, this pizza!! My fiancé found it on grubhub while I was at work and saved me some and even warmed up it was fantastic! It was just a cheese pizza and wings (requested crispier than normal) but the crust was rich and flavorful, the cheese was incredible and the wings were perfectly crispy and delicious. My fiancé said the delivery man was reasonably friendly and quick. Then the next week we ordered it together and it was (of course) even better hot and fresh. The experience was horrible! We ordered from Black Jack pizza in Aurora on a regular basis. TONIGHT THEY CHARGED MY CARD FOR A DIFFERENT ORDER. They sent a delivery driver to our apartment and he wanted to collect our money for the order I paid over the phone. HE WANTED TO Collect our payment, when the customer service agent already charged my card.money..after I told him we were charged online AND Charged my card.... The driver was very rude, defensive and confrontational, to me and cut me off when I was explaining the situation. First of all, I had to call the store to check on the charge on my card. Next they charged my debit card for someone elses' order, then the driver was rude and very nasty to me for their mistake. Honestly , If I were a White woman, I believe the situation would have turned out differently. When its all said and done the customer service agent should be ashame for not being aware. AFTER all this, I am still waiting to get my money back on my card and still find something for dinner..foul BJ, foul! .. I am not surprised, the delivery driver and management seemed to play victim, and it was their fault and negligence. In so many wordS THIS COMPANY insinuated that we were going to take yhe food. After the so - called manager tesearched and realized they charged my card, he did not apologize or offer to commpensate. The inconvenience was astonishing. Blackjack Pizza is a tiny, takeout and delivery spot in Aurora that was close to our hotel -- about five minutes away from the Best Western. We got a small, hand tossed cheese pizza and one of their medium specialty pizzas with sausage, green peppers, red onions, and mushrooms. Both were decent. The hand tossed crusts were thick and chewy. They could have benefitted from a slightly crispier crust. Personally, I love a little char and blistering on my pizza crust to give it some added texture. The ingredients were ok, and the price was good -- about $15 for both.
