I got the watermelon mojito smoothie it was okay. It mostly tasted like watermelon no lime or mint flavor. My friend's drink was terrible. It was supposed to be a peanut butter banana smoothie. We both were expecting it to be creamy, but it wasn't. The drinks were more like icy's, which was weird, and with that flavor in particular, it was very odd. Also, the customer service was terrible. The teen at the front counter had no people skills whatsoever. This will probably will be my first and last time trying this place. read more

My new obsession, especially after seeing their commercials for so long. I finally cracked and decided to get rid of try and I'm glad that I did. Perfect for the summer approaching. I've had great service and always make sure to leave a tip because making these drinks requires a lot of steps, although those tip is not required. This is on par with Jamba Juice on the West Coast where I'm from. read more

So, I walk in and the music is horrible Hip-hop and not even alternative or soft rock. The food started out ok, but on the last two bites of my Cesar chicken wrap, I bit into some gristle and puked in my mouth a little bit. I went here on 04/25/2019. (4pm) I ordered the flatbread (chicken Chipotle Club). It was very delicious, I chose the Barbeque chips as they are included with my flatbread!! I should've ordered a smoothie too,duh!! Lol oh well guess I will have to go back tomorrow!!! I can't wait to try everything, it all looks sooooo good!! YUM!! This location is for remote orders only. We weren't even allowed to sit down and order online. Least inviting place I've ever experienced.

I stop often and always have great service. Ordered online today and when I came in the were working their a$$ off with a 30 smoothie order and many more. Really great smoothies and food offered at Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I was impressed by how clean and weloming the environment was at this location. It fealt to me like entering an indoor farmers market, as there were loads of fresh produce visible throughout the Cafe. I must of come during stocking time but I revelled at all of the young staff doing their part to keep busy and it was obvious that they were food conscious; keeping everything clean and organized. I was in search for a good green machine drink that I didn't have to make at home. Yes. These drinks are a little pricier if not making at home, but my drink was plentiful in a very large cup and it was a delicious detox drink made with very fresh produce. My only criticism is that they do add sugar to alot of the drinks; so if you are trying to watch your sugar intake, beware; you will get a healthy drink, but cane sugar is added. I imagine they could customize and staff did inform me that they have splenda, but overall, the staff was pretty accustomed to the original smoothie recipes; which undoubtedly looked very delicious. read more

I am addicted to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I go there every Friday lately on my way home. I did have one glitch with their app but I talked to the owner and got it resolved promptly. Their employees are overwhelmed with the Covid-19. I have had to wait a little longer for orders due to them being busy. Smoothies are good, like Jamba Juice. Food tastes good, but is small for the price. Service is atrocious. I've been standing at the counter for 10 minutes and haven't been acknowledged. I'm picking up an online order which was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago. They've made three smoothies and put out one pickup order in that time. But the topper on all of it is the manager, finally packing up my order making a comment about the "hungry, hungry hippo" who must have placed it. I won't be back. read more

Nice folks behind the counter, interesting ingredients and options for add on's. I was super into that! However, I found out that they ADD refined, white sugar to all their smoothies unless you explicitly ask them not to. Smoothies are made of fruit, which is already crazy sweet, lol.... now why the heck would you add that junk to something that's supposed to be healthy? And that's advertised as such. Darn shame. Will stick with my actually healthy smoothie joints that don't add sugar. read more

Great location in Wheat Ridge to get a yummy smoothie! The food was a bit bland and unfortunately we got our wraps way before we got our smoothies. Hopefully they can figure out a way to provide you with your entire meal at once. Staff were kind but seemed overwhelmed. They do have a few tables outside, thank goodness as the inside is quite small and it's hard to tell who is waiting for an order and who is trying to figure out what they want. Their website is a good way to see what they have available to make your decision easier but like many places, they dont list the prices which I'll never understand. I guess they want you to have a shock when you get there so you can cool down with their smoothies! read more

Most of the staff deserve stars but the phrase "haste makes waste" is the best way to describe my experience. They get a ton of orders and foot traffic which is great and I talked to some team members during Covid and those orders kept them busy which is a great thing for them however... it always feels like a whirlwind going in there. I ordered a mango berry cosmo that seemed like it came with an edible lime straw. I don't know what that is but it sounds fantastic too bad I wasn't given it nor offered the upgrade if it didn't come with it. Then I ordered a chicken cesar WRAP. Instead when my food was finally ready I was given a salad. Not what I wanted, I was also not willing to wait all over again to get what I ordered. When I was asked what side I wanted I got chips then asked which item the chips came with and he replied "the wrap". So even though I didn't want my receipt I felt confident that my order would be correct. So as soon as I got back to my office into the fridge the salad went. Very disappointing and still hungry. So many little things but if they would slow down and check their work closer I might consider giving them another chance. read more

Wow! I am so impressed with this place! I literally just finished eating and I felt compelled to write a review! My co-workers and I wanted something healthier that would be easy and quick to pick up. We work at the hospital overnight and it's hard to find places on Sunday that stay open a little later. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is open until 9 on Sunday's and is easy and convenient to order online, which is great when we are ordering for several people. I put in our order, it was estimated to be ready in 11 minutes. I was there a few minutes after the predicted ready time. When walking in, the cafe was clean and welcoming. They have an online pick up area. All of our food was ready to go and waiting. All of our food was delicious and prepared the way we wanted. I had the detox island green smoothie with a scoop of whey protein and the buffalo chicken wrap. Both were amazing! This will be my new go to spot for food when I'm at work! I went to this location 5/1/20 and they were ignoring all quarantine and social distancing rules. They were over capacity and 50% of the customers were not wearing masks even though Wheat Ridge has required all customers to have a mask. There were so many people in the restaurant that no one could stand 6 feet away. I left immediately as I did not feel safe and I was very disappointed that the staff were prioritizing money over health and safety of their customers. read more
