As I was waiting in my car I noticed the buzz of customers going in-and-out the restaurant I decided that I would go in and give it a try. It was a perfect I was amazingly surprised by the vast menu and the sandwiches and salads that they offered. I ordered myself a smoothie much to my surprise I was amazed at the quality and a taste of the smoothie it wasn't like your typical smoothie it was thick, rich and full of flavor. fast and complete service is what I received here. I went in, placed my order and a few mins later I was served a delicious cool creamy treat. The employees were friendly and courteous throughout the entire process even in the mid afternoon rush. The only thing is that this location shares its parking lot with several different businesses including a hotel, so parking can be a little tricky at times. read more

First impressions are everything - we all have heard the saying. I've wanted to try this place for a long time. I received a promo from a friend for a discounted smoothie. This is our of the way from me and I went out of my way just to try it. I ordered and scanned my promo. It just wasn't working in their system. The employee just continued to say it wasn't working. With no solution and blank stares I said I can try to order on the app if that's more convenient. Unfortunately the app was malfunctioning and I was unable to apply the promo. Once again I went to the counter and asked if we can try again. It didn't work. A price match of the promo was all I wanted. I ended up paying for the smoothie and went on my way. The place itself looked very clean and the smoothie tasted just fine. If I had any suggestions it would be conflict resolution training. Very minuscule suggestion! This was my first time visiting Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I've been eating healthier trying to lose weight and I just got my wisdom teeth pulled so my food options are limited. I'm a coffee addict so when I saw the Mocha Madness smoothie I was pleasantly surprised yet hesitant. I was nervous the smoothie would be grainy or weird tasting. I will say Tropical Smoothie Cafe delivered. A little on the sweet side but I got the energizer and fat burner added. The only downside is that a small bitter pill I'm thinking could've been the fat burner or energizer was not ground up all the way. I was also excited to see they had different paninis and wraps. This will be my new favorite place to go. I can't wait to try their other smoothie flavors and food options. They have a lot of cool add ons, and the staff was friendly. I found this little gem, on my way to a high price coffee shop & I couldn't be more happy that I did! Not only did they go out of their way to make me something that wasn't even on the menu anymore, but they took their time to make sure I was completely satisfied before I left. Not only do they offer nutritionally and amazingly tasteful smoothies, they have a wide variety of wraps, salads, sandwiches and so much more. One of the things that impressed me the most, was the way they treated a customer that came in angry and upset. Not once did they get rude or hostile back. They kindly took the time to explain the misunderstanding. The gentleman actually think them for the way they handled the situation and apologize for his actions. It's customer service like that that is missing in our society these days. A+ to the staff! As a health-conscious person with a sweet tooth and a love of good food, I will definitely be visiting this location again! I won't lie, I was a bit nervous going here based on the overall ratings. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The smoothies are large and fresh. The staff was kind and engaging. I had a smoothie with tropical in the name (can't remember the exact title) and added chia seeds. It was definitely a bit pricey- but the size and the fact they use fresh fruit makes it worth it. My co worker and I love the tropical. I don't like that they are constantly discounting items but they are always offering new items, I guess they are just limited time. Great food but this location we order delivery from quite a bit because it's right down the street from our work and we don't have a car. And I would say every single time or 4 out of 5 times they always mess up our order one way or another. Forgetting items or not following special instructions. The smoothie maker Mak also had a attitude when handing our drinks over and ignored us when we asked a question he figured talking to he's friends was more important then he's customers. BUT today I saw the lady that was making the smoothies move the trash can around and touch the register WITHOUT changing her gloves then she proceeded to touch the ice and move it around to smooth it around. He asked about the smoothie and sandwich combo, which the employee acknowledged and he continued to order his own smoothie as well. He was only given 2 smoothies, no sandwich and when he asked about it she proceeded to tell him he never ordered it. So they did go back and forth for a bit in which after she made the sandwich with an attitude, she slammed it down in front of him. Apparently the manager just stood by and did nothing. When I saw that a Tropical smoothie was opening near Anschutz medical campus, I immediately apologized to my wife for all the dollars I knew I'd spend here. I frequented them in the midwest and knew they would be a hit here. I've been in 3x since they've opened and every experience has been wonderful from the cleanliness to the staff and especially the smoothies and food. My go to is the Kiwi quencher but add peach! Trust me, it's a winner! I love love love the chipotle chicken flatbread! Skip the chips and go for the kale apple slaw- it's super fresh and well seasoned. This business has a very messy staff. They ignored my application and waited 3 weeks to tell me that the position was full. After the fact they told me they would call me back ASAP. In which they didn't, the manager told me to call after thanksgiving. I did, than she told me to call the next day at 4pm. When I called they told me that it wasn't normal for them not to get back to someone who has had an interview, and who have filled out an online application. I didn't order anything because I wasn't hungry, but the person I came with accidentally ordered something with an allergen he couldn't have and Amanda was, without hesitation, assisting him with figuring out the allergen containing ingredient and even called her boss and helped him order something else he could have.
