Been going to Smash for years, but this location is my fav. Why? The young people appear to actually care about your experience; greeting is genuine and they listen. The cooks in the back pay attention to your order, each layer of my burger seemed to have been placed using a ruler. Do not skip Smash Fries and for those who know, they have Coke Zero, the superior sugar free soda. Yes, I said soda. My only quibble: bring back the Colorado Burger! I recently went to this Smashburger location, and it was a nice time. Upon entering, I was greeted by the staff at the counter, and he was very helpful in helping me choose which burger to order. I ended up going with the brisket barbecue burger, which featured a plentiful amount of brisket layered with barbecue sauce. The burger was cooked to the temperature I had requested. It was a juicy, tasty, messy burger! I ordered a side of onion rings, which I was pleased to see was filled up and made the extra addition feel like I got my money's worth. The only reason I'm really giving it a 3 star review was the milkshake I ordered, which was a cookies and cream/oreo milkshake had a very metallic taste to it and was not very good at all, which definitely hampered my meal. Always a great burger. Sometimes the management tolerates dirty , unkempt conditions at some of their stores. This 1 seems well managed and clean, even though we were greeted by 2 very young, idle employees in a completely empty restaurant. The female cook at this location should learn to cook burgers. My luck has it that everytime I visit, she is cooking. I specifically asked for my burger to be maybe not overdone? They said they are required to cook to a specific doneness, but they would "try". The burger was way overdone and crispy. The entire burger was crunchy and no moisture left. Anyway, I will not return to this location. All the other locations cook better than this one. read more

This place is just down the street from my office and I found myself coming here for burgers more than a few times:) Its super clean, and everything is made to order. Burgers are perfectly smashed and juicy. Service is great, everyone is super nice here. The truffle fries are my fave. Delish option for lunch or dinner. Fast casual but they craft their burgers with care. The Avocado sammich is delicious and i never thought to put avo in a burger, but here we are. A great smashburger location and I recommend it to anyone with a burger hankering :) it's a good spot! read more

I'm glad to see the new SmashBurger location in Olde Town Arvada! Tucked away in the shopping center by the park and ride and Snooze, it's kind of hidden from the street. I wouldn't have known it was there if I wasn't looking for it. Walked in at about 430pm and was empty. The workers were quick to greet me and make me feel welcome. The layout of the dining room is very open and bright with full west facing windows, which was nice to enjoy the evening sun! Scott, who I think was the manager, was very welcoming and made me feel like I was genuinely appreciated as a customer!! We ordered a couple of meals and dined in. I had the Double Truffle Mushroom and swiss burger with lettuce and tomato, fried Brussel sprouts, and an oreo shake. My son had the smoked cheddar brisket double cheeseburger, fries , and iced tea. Everything came out hot and fresh!! The mushroom burger was very good! The bun was nice and toasted. The swiss cheese was melted with crispy edges. Mushrooms were thinly sliced and cooked nicely. The only thing it needed was salt!! The burger was just a little plain. Salt would have made it even better!! The Brussel sprouts were excellent! Perfectly fried and seasoned! The non-dairy oreo shake was good but definitely tasted non dairy. The brisket cheeseburger was awesome! Very rich and flavorful! Juicy and well cooked. The brisket was tender, and the sauce was a very good addition! The regular fries are excellent as well! Hot and crisp! Lightly salted and perfect for dipping in the house made ranch!! Burger was dry and hard barely any mayo on my bun. Fries wasn't very good Not what I pictured for my very smash burger .

First, I decided to check out this place which has been open about a year or so in my area. On a Saturday around 3 pm I arrived there and entered the place. It was clean enough but also totally empty! No business and no one to take my order. Nothing was being cooked as the entire store looked empty. I called out several times until finally someone came to take my order. My guess is they were having a small meeting but it was a bit spooky to me. There is no drive through here so you must go inside to order and seeing an empty place was surprising. Anyway I gave my order of a classic and double classic and one order of fries. Sure enough a cook came out and in a few minutes all was cooked. Total bill was a tad over $22 including tax. Now let's talk about the items we ordered. The burgers were loaded and decently cooked. The bun was nothing special and the fries were nicely cooked and reminded me of McDonalds. All in all better than McDonalds but not as good as Red Robin. I can say in taste they are above average burgers and they do have other variations, like a mushroom burger for one. Overall a decent place for decent food so worth a shot if you're in the area. read more

My husband and I ordered a classic smashburger with no cheese, tater tots and they shake. The smashburger was half the size it used to be, and it had cheese on it. The tots and the shake were great. I'm just disappointed that the prices are much higher than used to be and the burgers are half the size. My husband and I like to split one because we don't eat much but this is ridiculous. I created an account just to review this place. The problem here lies with management. The employees work hard. They have one employee running the entire front and running food. I've gotten cold food from here more often than warm food. This is because it sits out as they wait for everything else. The timing of how the food is prepared and in what order is out of whack. So if you get both fries and a burger to-go, more than likely one of the two will be cold. It tastes great don't get me wrong. But they need more people, and the process needs to be honed in. I've been here 6+ times, we work close by. And I'm slightly disappointed every time, not due to the workers themselves, but the process seems poor just by observing it happen real time as I wait for the order. Seems very chaotic because there's 3 people. 2 cooks, one front person, and a 15-20 people in the restaurant at one time and people standing in line. This is a consistent problem, not a one off thing. I took a pic to show what I'm talking about. Whoever runs the joint needs to be present and get their stuff together because it's too nice of a location to be dropping the ball this consistently. read more
