Overall a great experience at Bad Daddy a few days ago. It was a super busy on a Sunday night, as expected. We sat at the bar so we didn't have to wait as long in line. Shout out to the bartender, it was her first day back working at BDB at this location and a few staff did not show up to their shifts that evening. I forgot her name but she had a beautiful dragonfly tattoo on her neck. She provided amazing service, was super attentive even though she was insanely busy. Checked in on us before our beers ran out and got our refills. I ordered the smash burger and my partner ordered the bistro burger. He loved the bistro burger because when I looked back at him, his burger was gone. Inhaled it. My smash burger was good, but it was way over seasoned. The patty is thinner so I wonder if they took the same approach as seasoning the regular burgers... Took off a star for that.. and the soft fries... but the tater tots, the deviled eggs, the beers, the service were all top notch. Definitely will be back for their happy hour weekdays, seems to be a great deal. Their own Bad Daddy Amber is always a great deal too. Thanks for the good times! read more

Service was spotty for our large party. Took a long time to be greeted once seated even though they didn't appear super busy. On my last visit, I had the Emilio's chicken sandwich and it was outstanding. This time it was just okay. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good, however. Bad Daddy's is a must for any burger or sandwich fan. This location is very easy to get to, just right off I-70. There is plenty of parking. And it is near a lot of shopping. Inside, it is spacious and comfortable with ample seating. They have a menu with great options, or you can design your own sandwich. Usually, I design my burger and get the tots. On this trip, I got the Frenchie - a turkey sandwich with brie, bacon, and garlic mayo. And, it was amazing. The fries are top-notch, too. Make sure you get the Bad Daddy's sauce for dipping. I also got the churro milkshake. It's for a limited time, but any cinnamon fan should try it. The staff is always excellent. This night, I got Lyle. Was hungry after hitting up Costco on a Sunday (never again) and the place we were originally going to go to was closed, so we decided to try Bad Daddy's Burger. We were seated very quickly and had time to look over the menu. Lots of options! I asked for a gluten-free menu, which they provided but basically had a few salad options and Build-Your-Own options. Hence the knocked star. That being said, I basically copied the Magic Mushroom burger ingredients to build my own burger and added an extra cheese option. The server double checked all my selections before leaving the table. It wasn't busy and I'd say the food came out quite quickly, though my friend and I were chatting a lot so we may have not paid much attention to the time. Portions are great!!! The fries pictured are the side-size and not the a-la-carte size, which is bigger, but the side was big enough for us to share. The burger was huge for a GF option (iykyk) and I left feeling very full. Overall very positive experience, just wish it was a bit easier to order GF rather than having to build my own each time. Don't get me wrong the food was absolutely AMAZING, definitely recommended the Sam I Am burger. The 2 star review is for my experience my first time ever going to a Bad Daddy's restaurant. I had mentioned that it was my first time, and the server got happy and stated that I get a free appetizer. She proceeded to bring out the wrong appetizer, I didn't know it was the wrong thing and ate some of it, she came back and said she was so sorry and that she gave me the wrong appetizer, and came back with the one I ordered and stated "you get both". At the end of my meal the manager came and said she would take care of one of the appetizers... WHAT? It wasn't my mess up, I shouldn't have had to pay for the more expensive one at the very least. read more

I sat at the bar. TVs were playing different games, music was playing. A great atmosphere. Service was fantastic, the bar tender was friendly and my order came fast. The bar tender recommended the heat wave burger. It was great. A real unique burger with the jalapeño and poblano frites. The sauce on the burger was great as well. My first time here. Bad experience. Waited at the front until the hostess finally told me to go to the bar to place an order. The bar person appeared bothered taking my order and was very curt and unkind. The food was bland and the fries were burned and stale. Exceptional Service and Delicious Food! I can't say enough good things about my recent visit to Bad Daddy's, especially during the lunch shift on April 28th. The servers were outstandingly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. The food arrived promptly, piping hot, and incredibly fresh. A special shoutout to our server, Jesse L (name on receipt)., if that's indeed who served us (my memory is not great with names) - she was exceptionally sweet, kind, and hardworking. We had like 15 people in our group and went during a Bronco and the were able to seat us (Very Thankful) The food was great and the waitress was Phenomenal (Wish I would've remembered her name) The only reason why I'm giving them a 4 star is because of the Bad Ass Margaritas. We came for Mother's Day. I know I'm a bit late posting, but I'm mom and I'm busy. Our server welcomed us but seemed like she was a little overwhelmed with the day. It was quite crowded and this was at 2 in the afternoon. She advised that things might take a bit longer due to the crowd. We let her know that it was not problem, we were in no great rush. We ordered our drinks. The fam got water and I got an iced tea with lemon. We put in our food order and proceeded to chat. Our food came and looked wonderful. Everyone was happy with their choices. Hubby and I even had enough to box and bring home to have for our lunch the next day. We thanked our server and told her we hoped the rest of her shift would go smoothly. We will be back. read more

We came here on a Friday night, hubby and my daughter, party of three. We were seated promptly. Not sure if our server was new but he kept leaving to get a second opinion on things.. or just leaving us hanging completely. What we swallowed:0 *DOUBLE BACON BURJGER: This was quite tasty, humongous to try to get in your mouth, but I wouldn't say it was knock-my-socks off tasty, which I expect in a bar burger otherwise I could go hit up In-n-Out. *THAI PINAPPLE CHICKEN SANDWICH: They were nice enough to change my grilled chicken to a fried chicken patty that I had seen on another menu item. There's a lot going on with this sandwich. It wasn't a bad sandwich.... but I'm not sure it was that great. I took the other half home for lunch the next day and it never made it to round 2, I ended up throwing it out. So maybe that says something.. *MAC and CHEESE (kids) with a fruit cup side: Now my 8 year old, mac and cheese is her jam, I tried it and I thought it was 'a'ight' and so did she. But she moved on to her fruit and said "Mommy, my fruit tastes funny." So I tried it: why was my mouth all of a sudden full of SOAP. SOAP! WTH, I notified our (clueless?) waiter and he proceeded to give us another fruit cup. Um.. no thank you! I'm not eating whatever you got on your fruit! What's worse, there was so much of whatever soap was on the fruit now in my mouth, that when I took a bite out of my sandwich, my whole mouth was just full of whatever soap was on that fruit. It was just not a great night out: experience nor food wise. Our server was bleh, the food was meh/borderline "WTH is this soap on my food?" and to top it off, on our way home, we found out our server charged our daughters food and drink all individually when it should have been part of the kids meal. Was torn on the fence for this review - if I could would probably give this place closer to a 3.5 stars but it was a solid meal! I have the Denver Eat & Drink pass and this had a Bogo entree deal. I got the bistro burger (Gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon, grilled onions, arugula & chipotle avocado crema) and my husband got the Kim's honey chicken (Our Buttermilk fried chicken breast with a spiced honey sauce, pickles and our house jalapeño ranch). The chicken sandwich was by far better - the chicken and seasoning was super flavorful. The burger was just alright for being a "burger bar" - bacon was in flavorful and overall burger lacked salt/flavor in our opinion. The side of sweet potato fries we got were cooked very well although the Frenchies brand of ketchup they carry was much too sweet. In terms of beverages, they had some really good deals. We went on a Monday and after I ordered the pint, I missed they have $3 pints of amber ales on Mondays. We had just come from Denver Beer Co in Old Town, and shockingly the DBC beers were cheaper here than at the brewery! Overall atmosphere was what you'd expect from a chainy restaurant which totally works - bathrooms were clean and our server was super attentive and nice. read more

This is our go to restaurant for dinner or lunch when we are in the area. Consistently good food and service. Staff is always friendly. Lots of TVs to entertain, especially the 'extreme sports' channel. They make a damn good burger (and I'm picky), have spears for fried pickles (not chips, blech). Friday afternoon, no wait at all. Friendly host seated us. We sat in the bar area, the bartender was super attentive to our table and several other tables and patrons seated at the bar. Never had to wait for a refill. Atmosphere was very easy to have conversations and noise level was decent and tolerable. I had the Magic Mushroom burger, which is consistently awesome! The mushrooms have a nice texture and taste to them, amazing sauce and the arugula is a perfect touch. Bun was crisply toasted, which tells me it didn't spend time waiting at the warmer to be picked up and delivered. Big win there, not everybody pulls that off with wet toppings on their burgers!! Price was fair, you order your fries or other sides, meal doesn't coke with it. Beer was cold! Only improvement I can ask for would be fresh oranges with my Blue Moon. I came in tonight with my family for my birthday dinner because bad daddy's has always been my favorite place. The two hostesses with the highlights can use some improvement. With customers only having to see you for two seconds, it shouldn't be too hard to fake a smile. Five stars only because 1)Bohdi was amazing! Due to COVID restrictions, there was a 15-20 minute wait for a table. Decided to go eat at the bar for faster service. Can't remember her name but the bar tender was very friendly. Recommended an Old Fashioned with a unique twist. The Peanut Butter Old Fashioned was so delicious. First time feeling that I could have ordered two!! I ordered the Magic Mushroom Burger with Havarti and Arugala. Perfectly cooked to medium rare. Burger was juicy. Seasoned well. So tasty. Hubby ordered the Bad Ass Burger. It's two 5 ounce patties with two huge Buttermilk Fried Bacon. Although he really liked the burger, he was disappointed because he ordered medium rare and what was served was well done. My wife and I had a late lunch, at a place we never ate at before. We both were impressed with our burgers- hot, juicy, very flavorful! Her side was made to order potato chips and were crisp and tasty. I had the best onion rings ever! Our server was so nice, checked on us without being overbearing. This place is cool and has a great variety of burgers and other food. Their fried pickles are thin long slices which is a bit different from chips and spears. Our bearded waiter was great and we chatted like we had been long time friends. I had the patty melt and my wife got the hot honey chicken sandwich. They were both delicious! One cool aspect is every day is happy hour and they offer a small selection of drafts that are cheaper than normal. All in all this is a cool place with great unique burgers that I would recommend to anyone. The only downside is that one part of my wife's menu had been used enough that the words in a column were mostly rubbed off so she couldn't see that section. She had to use mine to look at that portion of the menu. The odd thing is that this is easily avoidable either through removing menus like this from the rotation or laminating the menus so this doesn't happen and they can easily be cleaned. When you're a regular you know right away when a place makes changes, and they did. Let me preface by saying the burgers are still of the highest quality and delicious. When I went online, I noticed right away the menu changed. So, I called in my to go order. I'll have the turkey burger, with Swiss, bacon and sliced apple, none of this is on the menu any longer but they still accommodated (The apple was cut in chunks, not slices)? I said do you want my side order? Oh, sides no longer come with the burger, they are $3 now and we've gone ala carte. Ok I went with it, and ordered the tots (very cold) and I ate some as soon as I got to my car. Needles to say I will still return; I'm just confused why the changes. Soooo, at the time I ATE my Western Buffalo Burger it was awesome! The fries were very greasy and soggy so I only ate 4-5 of them. Then later that night I started having stomach cramping and by 4am the next morning, I was praying to the porcelain gods in every direction. It lasted all day Monday and into Tuesday. By Friday, my stomach still isn't right and cramps whenever I try to eat or drink water. I've never had food poisoning but I'll tell you, I never want to have it again OR eat at this establishment EVER!! After this epsode, I did check the Jefferson County Retail Food Inspections website to see if they had received any violations. On their last inspection dated 09/26/2018, they had received 8 violations, 5 of which they considered food borne illness risk. Food is cold and zero flavor. My wife Asked for a bistro burger no onions and it was full of onions. Don't waste your time getting the chicken parm sandwich. The mozzarella cheese wasn't even melted and was still cold to the touch. Also fries were cold. Fries were sent back and I'm pretty sure they just sent the same ones out because they were just as cold. Terrible. No flavor at all. Had to use a bunch of salt and pepper to make it eatable. First time trying this place and was disappointed. The mozzarella medallions were so soggy and dripping with oil. The flavor was good. The marinara dipping sauce wasn't bad but it was sweet.
