    Green Chile Cheese Tots

Met up with my brother, his wife and some of their friends for lunch. The Happy Time menu is my favorite. I ordered the green chile cheese tots. Yum! We sat outside on the patio, it was a lovely day. I like their outside seating. Our server checked on us regularly and we all enjoyed our food. Another positive experience.

Voted best tacos in Arvada .... https://coloradocommunitymedia.com/2025/03/27/arvada-taco-showdown-2025/ They are dam good... and when you throw in great ambience and wonderful service ( Jessie is the man). You can see what the readers voted for this place.. Happy hour is pretty great with nice drink and food offerings Good vegetarian options My fav were the great guac with those seasoned chips Fantastic Pescado taco with fresh grilled mahi Good carnitas and an okay but not the most authentic Al Pastor ( I like mine crunchy and more cut up) Overall, I highly recommend this place as a service vibe and food are pretty amazing Check em out

First time visit at Cochino Taco and everything went well. I love the idea of three different salsas for a basket of chips. Service was extraordinaire and awesome. I loved the idea of the tacos coming on a taco truck it's plastic and adorable. See you in pictures. The margaritas were amazing a little small for the price I order chicken tacos. The first one was good. The second one was super dry not even with salsa, could I finish it Made me sad but next time I'll try something different. It was very comfortable inviting relaxing we sat out on the patio. It was a beautiful afternoon and I think the staff for taking such good care of us so if you're ever in the neighborhood of a Cochino Taco stop by and have a bite. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time....

Fuzzy Tacos! Stopped in with friends while on a cross country trip. Restaurant was highly recommended by a local (my sister). Our waiter was great, he was funny and answered all of our questions. Place had a Mexican vibe and some great options for "Happy Time". I tried the evil nachos which were nacho cheese dusted pork rinds wi5 a vinegar based dipping sauce. The flavor was great but I got cheese dusted pork rinds all over me! I then had the crunchy tacos with pickled Jalapeño and had it served "Fuzzy" style which meant the crunch shell was rapped with a soft shell that had refried beans and queso on it. This was a great combination that was not overly spicy. We all enjoyed our meal and would definitely eat here again.

Still a fav spot! Just wanted to add some new photos to update my previous review. Drinks and food are delicious, servers friendly and helpful. Love sitting on the dog-friendly patio! Love the casual vibes. The every day happy hour is so great! Still loving my usual coin margarita and some shaggy-style chicken tacos!

Frozen paloma + the Frozen Piña Piña Peño. both strong and yummy. both on happy hour.

Cochino Taco seems super underrated! I'm here, at the expense of attracting too many people to this location, to share our great and yummy experience at Cochino Taco because they deserve it. First off, they have happy hour every day from 11am-6pm, what a great deal. We sat out on the patio and ordered half happy hour, half regular menu. We started with the queso and wow it was tasty without feeling too heavy. The drinks were strong, but well balanced. We also tried a lot of tacos and they were all great - crunchy tacos, carne asada, al pastor, funky chicken and chicken tinga. The chicken tinga may have been the weakest one, but it was still acceptable. The servers were so friendly and attentive and I didn't check out the inside in detail, but the patio was fun and there seemed to be a lot of space inside. I already have plans to be back! With so many tex mex places in Olde Town, consider Cochino Taco for your next taco and margarita craving!

Excellent, affordable food with a friendly atmosphere! My family went to Cochino Taco in Arvada on Saturday afternoon. They have a small parking lot off of Ralston and a large, dog friendly patio and a full bar. They offer happy hour from 11am-6pm everyday, which is the best happy hour I've ever heard of! They have cheap snacks, tacos and drinks offered at that time, as well as, the regular menu items. We ordered the Doritos nachos with ground beef ($5.50), 2 soft chicken tacos for our daughter ($6), she loved that they came in their own taco truck holder! A draft beer ($4) and a frozen strawberry margarita ($7) off of the Happy Time menu. We also ordered an appetizer from the specials menu, poblano and Birria eggrolls ($12). And from the regular menu we ordered the poblano queso burger ($16) and the campechano taco (chorizo and carne asada, $4.75). We shared everything and it was all delicious! We loved the taco and the egg rolls the best! Our server was friendly and they brought the food out whenever it was ready which worked great for us because we were sharing everything. The restaurant is not large so, I could see how it could fill up easily and be busy. But, it was not crowded when we were there and the service was fast. We will definitely return for the happy hour and we want to try their brunch menu too!

Tried Cochino for the first time and really enjoyed everything from sitting at the bar, chatting with the bartender to the food we tried. Ordered off the happy hour menu- Queso added chorizo and the chicken tinga soft tacos. Queso was great, I bet it would even be good without the chorizo but it did add a nice flavor. I loved the spice added to the crispy thin chips! The chicken soft tacos were ok. The chicken had nice flavor but the corn tortilla was a little greasy. It was lightly fried but still soft. Will be back for sure!

Obviously a great spot for happy hour because it's like everyday and then families - kids menu! Food is not traditional Mexican or even typical street tacos. Flavors could be a little bit better. However get the tacos shaggy style to make up for it. They had beans and cheese on another tortilla. Makes them more filling! The avocado tostado was not my favorite. I found it overly salty and the tostado kind of soggy. The family friendly environment makes up for it along with the happy hour and great drinks! They have a small parking lot up front but spots fill up fast so don't be surprise if you have to find street parking. Also follow the time limit. Arvada is constantly checking cars now in Olde Town area.

A large selection of tequilas and mescal awaited me. Superb margaritas, made the way I asked for it. Tacos are good. Fish Taco, was delicious, as was the carne asada -- I don't think you can go wrong with any of the tacos. All are very solid traditional well made tacos at a reasonable price. Quick service. Cool bartender. Well done.

Outstanding tacos. We had initially planned on hitting up the 303 ramen but this had our name on it and proved a mighty opponent. We had a bar tender that was also a server and host. He nailed every bit with the best service we have seen in years. It's very warm inside and the chairs are comfortable. modern decorations and not loud music.

Get thee to T Birds for the pork cutlet!…read more Seriously, this Midwest treat is executed perfectly, 8 oz of pork tenderloin pounded just enough to give the perfect, crispy, tender unctuous bite dressed with pickle and diced white onion. Fried at the perfect temp it's not oily, just juicy deliciousness. And OH MY WORD can you say pepperoncini aioli!! Yes please!!! But wait, there's more- dress the whole thing with a spicy, vinegary slaw and you have the sandwich of my dreams. Seriously, this is the first time I've encountered this sandwich in Denver and I'm so happy I did. We also tried to pulled pork sandwich which was nice but a little on the lean side. I almost wonder if they're shredding pork tenderloin for the pulled pork because it did miss that fatty gooeyness of a pork shoulder But very tasty. Yeah I'm sure the fries are hand cut, tasty "mom" fries (like moms kitchen). Maybe not super crispy, personal preference, but who cares, because again, pepperoncini aioli! I'm not sure the cocktail program is quite dialed in yet. The drinks sounded great but lack balance possibly because they're being served in a pint glass instead of a rocks or a Collins glass where I think they would benefit from not trying to make up extra volume with mixer. Lots of great beer choices Service was excellent. Staff was friendly. We would definitely go back. Monday is all day happy hour, Sunday They do NFL specials and they have a normal happy hour from 3:00 to 6:00 and live music on the weekends. Be aware though, it is not one of those manufactured dive bars seeking to draw in the youngsters looking for a prefab thrill - the Rose is very much for people who want to escape the craptastic churched-up over-priced swill joints and enjoy the company of hard working blue collar/no collar men and women who are not interested in anything but chillin' like villains. There is plenty of parking in the back, and a large, comfortable smoking patio.
