Madagascar dream beer
Ed D.

Came here on a Thursday night. It was pretty full but we were still able to get seats for 2. I like the decor with the real wood planks in a modern-sh style and the star lights chandelier and even the deer coat hooks on the bench seating. The food is pretty good. We got the crispy fingerlins to start and they were sooo good. The potatoes had the right amount of crisp and were soft on the inside and they were so flavorful with a hefty amount of garlic which we both loved. We also got some drinks. We tried the spiced pear cocktail which was well crafted and also tried the Madagascar dream beer which was so tasty. It had a smooth froth at the top, went down smooth and left a sweet aftertaste in your mouth. It's also from a local brewery which is nice since I like supporting local businesses. I got the chicken pesto with quinoa and it was tasty and a fairly healthy option. My friend got the sausage mushroom fusilli which had a good thick sauce to it. The mushrooms were nicely cooked and blended well with the pasta and sauce. Service was good and prices were affordable.

The truffle fries had great flavor but they were cold when I got them. The grinder was great. Plenty of meat soft bread very cheesy and the aus ju sauce was fresh and flavorful. The dry creek apricot blonde was a nice cold b beverage for the beautiful spring evening. If you get a chance sit outside it's a nice change from being inside a crowded restaurant.

This is one of our favorite places in the Denver area! Great selection of drinks, reliably, good food, and an overall great atmosphere. Every time we come, we are surprised in a great way. This time my daughter was gifted kid-dough aka pizza dough play doh. Brilliant! She is 10 and very rarely gets this excited about something at a restaurant. Yes, it doesn't work for younger kids (they have a kids menu and crayons too) but it was a nice surprise for a kid who loves slime. Also shout out to the awesome gluten-free crust. It is the best pizza by far. I have had since becoming gluten-free. Has made us regulars here and highly recommend to others!

Wonderful service, great pizza and clean atmosphere- what more can you ask for! This restore t is extremely kid-friendly, they even bring out dough for kids to play with while waiting for their pizza! I love my crush soft but crunchy and man do they have that perfected! They offer a great lunch special of a side salad and personal pizza for $14. I believe that special runs from 11-2 and is a steal! We will be back!

I've only had beers, cocktails, and french fries here so cannot comment on the food, but everything I've had here was delicious! I was especially happy with the cocktail I got. I don't remember what it is called but it had lavender in it. More so than the food though, the service here has always been perfect. Our server during our last visit, I believe his name is Daniel, was very attentive and personable throughout the duration of our visit there. Finally, the atmosphere is really nice! From the walls, chairs, to the tables, it gives off higher scale restaurant vibes but without the price tag.

I have seen many checkins for Tap and Dough and when a friend suggested it in Arvada....I was all over it. The reviews are legit. Homegrown Tap & dough serves really good food and really good beer in a great atmosphere. I server Tyler was great. Salads were fresh and crisp with great ingridients. Would def come back for the pies or sammies

If you're looking for a spot with multiple tvs, a drink list for beer and non-beer lovers, and fantastic service, then Tap & Dough is the go-to in Olde Town Arvada! The atmosphere is a very clean, rustic and industrial vibe. It's perfect to watch a game, hangout on the patio with a drink on a sunny day or have a big dinner with friends and family. There is ample seating, both inside and out. The service is attentive, personable and super genuine! Our main server was Danielle, but we had different servers bring out our drinks and food at times. It seemed to work, and the flow of the restaurant seemed well run. Plus, it seemed like every single person we interacted with was in really good spirits. I love to see this when I'm at a restaurant! The food comes out hot and will satisfy your hunger. We opted for the brussel sprouts, pepperoni pizza and funguy pizza but I'm not sure we ordered the best things on the menu. I'd probably try their burger, a salad or the pepperoni rolls. I saw a few come out and they looked really good! I'd happily go here again to see a game and grab an appetizer/drink. Bonus: We had an order come out not 100% right. They happily made it right by taking it off our bill. No ifs, ands, or buts. That's great customer service!

Happy hour. This food was like $16

The food is mediocre but that could be due to the lack of customer service as well. Don't bother. It's so busy and crowded.

And the children had gone outside to play and he offered to call them back in for their dessert. Truly remarkable service and attention!

When we arrived, we redirected from the main dining room to another space the restaurant owns 2 doors down. I wonder if we may have had a more attentive experience had we been in the original? The first disappointment was that our meal took 40 minutes to arrive from the time that we sat down. Our waiter consistently forgot that my husband had ordered a Diet Coke or to refill the drink when he had offered. The tables around us seemingly were served earlier, even though we all placed our orders around the same time. I ordered the Thai Pork Belly Benedict, which was absolutely delectable and definitely something write home about! And the country potatoes side was perfectly seasoned and crispy. I would absolutely go back for this, just maybe on a weekday brunch due to the wait. I thought it was extremely unique how the children's menu was plated in a muffin tin, with 6 different food choices for just $12. Great deal! My husband had a Belgian waffle topped with fruit, which was really unremarkable. Reminiscent of something that you might self-make at a hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, his waffle was cold, and he requested that they remake, which our server made sure was done in a timely manner. All in all, our meal was very reasonably priced at around $43. I just wish it hadn't been such a long wait, both to receive the initial order and for drink refills.

I was feeling a little reckless tonight, so naturally I chose Bad Daddy's. The name alone sounds…read moremildly inappropriate and like it should come with a safe word. Respectfully? I was intrigued. Pulled up around 7pm on a holiday weekend and it was... weirdly quiet. Like did I accidentally come at closing time quiet. Odd. But honestly? Kinda refreshing. No swarm of sticky-fingered children launching fries at my giant forehead. It was bliss. Friendly greeting at the door and suddenly I receive TWO waiters for the price of one. Ooooh. Okayyyy Bad Daddy's, you spicy little minx. Now we're talking. (Wait... one's training. Right. Riiiiiiight. Sure. You bad daddy.) Anyway. Ordered the classic BD burger for my invisible couch potato companion because apparently I now dine with imaginary friends. Also ordered: * Onion rings -- standard bar-fare diva behavior (don't judge me I'm by myself tonight) * A custom BLT burger situation because WHY THE HELL NOT? Jalapeños included because peace was never an option * And then... the pretzel. Now before we discuss the carb-based crime scene, let me say this: Sean and his trainee Paul (and entire floor staff) Running that floor like synchronized swimmers in a hospitality Olympics. Every employee in this place was MOVING. Cleaning, helping, checking tables, greeting people every three minutes like tiny customer-service ninjas. Other chain restaurants need to take NOTES. No lobby backup, no chaos, no standing around blinking into space pretending not to see empty cups. These people were ON IT. And they somehow manage the delicate dance of being attentive without hovering like a haunted Victorian child. Need something? BAM. They're there. Water refill? Already happening. Ketchup? Materialized from another dimension. Now the food rundown: My BLT burger moment? Pretty solid. Nice little zing from the jalapeños and vinegar situation. I personally wanted a little more fire. (Remember my rule) I wanted drama. I wanted to feel something. But still tasty. The simple BD burger for my lovely assistant was devoured immediately with two thumbs up and a caveman grunt, which is basically a gold star approval in our household. Usually burgers get ignored halfway through like abandoned New Year's resolutions, so this was a triumph. BUT THE PRETZEL. Ohhhhh, the pretzel. Sean, with the confidence of a man who has seen things, raises an eyebrow and says, "Jumbo pretzel," like he's issuing a challenge before a duel. Sir. He gave me NO warning. This thing arrives in a giant catering-sized tin like they're feeding a Little League team. Three dipping sauces. Three. The pretzel itself? Soft, salty, glorious carbohydrate witchcraft. One bite and your ancestors start speaking German. This beast will gluten you into next month. Bring three friends. Or one teenage boy. Same thing honestly. Final verdict: honestly impressed. Great service, solid food, teamwork tighter than my corset during a full moon and a family argument, and a pretzel that deserves its own ZIP code. Bad Daddy's? You earned the nod. Naughty name, respectable game.

Shout out to the bartender, it was her first day back working at BDB at this location and a few staff did not show up to their shifts that evening. I forgot her name but she had a beautiful dragonfly tattoo on her neck. She provided amazing service, was super attentive even though she was insanely busy. Checked in on us before our beers ran out and got our refills. I ordered the smash burger and my partner ordered the bistro burger. He loved the bistro burger because when I looked back at him, his burger was gone. Inhaled it. My smash burger was good, but it was way over seasoned. The patty is thinner so I wonder if they took the same approach as seasoning the regular burgers... Took off a star for that.. and the soft fries... but the tater tots, the deviled eggs, the beers, the service were all top notch. Definitely will be back for their happy hour weekdays, seems to be a great deal. Their own Bad Daddy Amber is always a great deal too. Thanks for the good times!

As Lucy's is known for their stuffed burgers, I went with The Juicy Lucy and a half order of fries. The burgers are made with a 76/24 blend and stuffed with cheese, onions, and pickles. There are plenty of add-ons (tomato, lettuce, pepperoncini, bacon, even an egg), but go easy as these burgers are seriously indulgent and filling. The skinny fries were fabulous (you can't have just one). My order arrived quick AND hot. The burger was good and as promised, juicy. Definitely recommend indulging in a cocktail too. My wife and I popped in to try it out and got the classic stuffed burgers. The burgers were almost 20 bucks each with no sides, which would be fine if they were exceptionally tasty or high-quality, but they tasted as if they came from the frozen section at Walmart. The stuffed cheese was barely existent, and I was charged for adding lettuce and tomatoes. Wtf? The fries were good, but they were clearly from a giant frozen bag, so charging extra for them seems crazy considering the burgers were almost 20 bucks. When it was all said and done, we paid over 80 dollars for two mediocre (borderline bad) burgers, one side of fries to share, a Bloody Mary, and a cheap canned beer. We left with with a very bad taste in our mouth both literally and figuratively. The only saving grace was that the server was very friendly and nice. That's the second star. Also, we chose this place because we had some cash on the in-kind app, but when we went to pay, they said they had changed POS systems, so they were essentially engaging in false advertising. They did give us a drink coupon, but we won't be back ever.

It's located in Golden, Colorado, right across the street from the world-famous Coors Brewery, so the setting is already pretty cool and scenic. Bob's Atomic Burgers has a great neighborhood-joint feel: small, cozy, clean, and eclectic, with interesting stuff on the walls and a fun local vibe. When we walked in, there was a table near the door with order sleeves and paper forms where you build your burger by choosing the meat, bun, cheese, free toppings, and extra toppings. They have a really good selection. I went with a single beef patty on a white bun with American cheese, pickles, raw jalapeños, tomatoes, green chiles, banana peppers, and a large fry. We turned in our order sleeves at the counter and ordered fountain drinks. When we mentioned it was our first visit, the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The young lady behind the counter explained a little about the place and how the ordering process worked, which was much appreciated. The burgers are made to order, so we waited about 10-15 minutes. Honestly, that worked out perfectly because indoor seating is limited, and during the wait we were able to grab a table. They also have outdoor seating, though it was raining when we visited. When the burgers came out, they looked amazing. I'd describe them as a cross between a smash burger and a traditional patty, and I really liked that. My burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and messy in the best possible way. The large fries came in the usual paper sleeve, but it was absolutely overflowing, and the fries were hot, fresh, cooked to order, and excellent. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and a local feel that big chains just can't touch.
