    Hot honey chicken bowl
    Michele B.

Service was fast on a weeknight which is imperative for hungry teens. First up was a bowl with hot honey chicken and rice. Tasty, but unfortunately they were out of several preferred toppings. Annoying but not a deal breaker. A kid sized meal was enjoyed next, and included chicken, pita and cucumbers. It was not too loud inside, not too busy, not too pricey. We will come back and sample some falafel next time because tonight they looked a little over done.

TWO hairs wrapped around the arugula. This location always has something wrong but this takes the cake.

I've ran the gamut of issues here like uncooked lentils (which can be toxic), wilted scummy greens, the liquid from the meat being thrown into my bowl, and today they forgot my pita - but also after finding not one but TWO long hairs in my salad today, I think I am done with Cava. Mendocino Farms nearby is much more fresh, larger quantity, and the workers don't look miserable!

Good Lordy this place is my actual heaven. I LOVE Cava! I've only ever gotten the grain bowl here and it would take a lot for me to ever deviate from this order because it's perfection in my opinion. I typically order ahead and pick up my order on the counter and have no issues. Every now and then they'll forget the free pita, and the parking is a pain in this area. But the food is always fresh and delicious. My go to order: Saffron Basmati Rice, Crazy Feta®, Harissa, Roasted Eggplant Dip, Harissa Honey Chicken, Roasted Vegetables, Salt-Brined Pickles, Tomato + Onion, Fire Roasted Corn, Fiery Broccoli, Tomato + Cucumber, Persian Cucumber, Kalamata Olives, Shredded Romaine, Lemon Herb Tahini, Free Side Pita, Skhug

Falafel pita, doesn't taste better than it looks

I've seen Cava all over and have never tried it before. I've heard it's like the "Chipotle" of Mediterranean food where you can pick and choose toppings and build your own bowl. I'm visiting a friend in Denver and didn't have a lot of time to eat so decided to pick up Cava since it was nearby. I appreciate the fact that there are plenty of vegan options and everything is clearly labeled with ingredients spelled out so I know what sauces and toppings I can pick. I decided to go for their Falafel Pita just to get a good taste of the most commonly ordered veggie option. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. The falafel is the weirdest falafel I've ever seen. It looked baked and a color I've never seen falafel before. Usually falafel is dark brown on the outside and greenish/yellow/brown on the inside but this was all light brown throughout. The wrap was decent, you can easily find way better pita bread in grocery stores. The veggies seemed fine but the sauce was way too tangy and acidic and didn't balance out the wrap very well Overall, I almost tossed the whole thing but decided to save half and ate it later when I was hungry without the option to get food quickly again. Not bad pricing for the portion size, especially since there's no upcharge for veggie protein. But I don't see myself coming back to try Cava again anytime soon.

Great place to get a fresh healthy meal. The Mediterranean version of Chipotle. Definitely would recommend. We went on a Sunday afternoon and they were a little short handed, but so worth the wait. Nice portion sizes.

2023 S Colorado Blvd unit 101 - What lovely "fast food" service! I walked in pretty stressed and distracted (& having not been to CAVA in about two years I wasn't sure what I wanted) and the staff member who helped me was so patient and kind. They also have a thorough allergen menu and it's great for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian.

As our walk got longer and extended we found ourselves in this little pocket of business area in the Park Hill neighborhood. Come to think of it, I have utilized a good handful of the restaurants in the last 5 years or so and Neighbors was one of them. I remember one of my friends (out of touch) and I came here for a flight of mezcal or tequila or some sort. The Yelp review I wrote back then dated over 5+ years. It all of a sudden became a moment of "walking back the memory lane". The time was 8:40pm or so. Although the restaurant doesn't close until 10pm, the kitchen was about to close (at 9pm.) Our stomach was still quite full from the dinner; we only needed after dinner drinks. Monday night at 8:45pm, the bar barely had any people in it. Dimly lit, the ambiance was quite exquisite. We noticed all sorts of wine cork art decorations on the walls and even the ceiling The kind waitress of ours allowed me to sample a few different reds (a Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi and a blend from Washington state.) Although the blend smelled better on the nose, the Cabernet tasted better on the palate. Decision making as to which one came easy: the Cabernet was the winner. I'm not much of a jammy Cabernet person. This Cab from Lodi, no wonder, appealed to me. Very structured, not necessarily velvety either and yet it's got a good character to it. The name of it is Klinker Brick (and the vintage is 2023). As of early June 2026, a glass of this solid Cab is/was $14.25. It became a nice "after dinner" wine to settle into the late night. As I stated earlier, this is a little picket of neighborhood that's mostly consisted of beautiful homes with $900k ranges. Unless you specifically do searches for restaurants in the very area, this will easily escape many people's notice. But that's the charm of it. Being away from the so-called "hip town vibes", I like this little quiet spot. And this wine bar's existence in it perfectly fits the description.

The whole atmosphere here is very family-friendly. There's a large open outdoor area where kids were running around and playing, and being right next to a soft serve spot makes it even better for families. Inside, it had a great sports bar vibe without feeling overwhelming. They had all the NBA and NHL playoff games on, and I could easily see myself coming back here to catch a game and grab food with friends. The beer selection was also solid, with a nice variety of local breweries and ciders. For food, we started with the roni rolls, which were really good. The portion isn't huge, but it's perfect for sharing between 2-4 people. The menu mentions allowing extra time for them to come out, but ours arrived surprisingly quickly. We also split a half Caesar salad, which was pretty standard but worked well as a lighter course between appetizers and pizza. The highlight was definitely the Catapult pizza -- really flavorful and absolutely worth ordering. Would definitely recommend the pizzas here overall. For dessert, we went with the brownie skillet sundae based on our waiter's recommendation. It's basically like a smaller brownie version of a pizookie. The edges were a little overdone from the hot skillet, but overall it was still really good. If you're a brownie fan or just have a sweet tooth, it's definitely worth trying. Great energy, great setup for families and sports fans alike, and a place I'd happily come back to.

Totally OK, but the condescending tone is unnecessary. Again, first visit here and I was in a rush- it should be standard at the register to share that information; where to go, what to get. Second visit, I brought my colleagues and manager. Again, this information was not shared but luckily I was there to just get them what they needed. No big deal! But the food came out at different times and most of us felt uncomfortable eating food unless the entire table had theirs. Third time and here I am writing a review. I waited for my food as multiple people got served prior to me. I tried smiling and waving to someone who was delivering the food, and she was clearly avoiding me. She even checked in on everyone around me... On top of that, they seem well trained at removing the table number once the food has been served. My table number remained up for 25 minutes. I purchased an entree, drink, and a cookie- really trying to support the business here despite the lack of mind for the consumer. Not until another woman who seemed to have the outside coverage passed by was I able to get to share my issue. The manager came and offered me an additional side or dessert but my meal came with two sides and I had already purchased a cookie. He explained that the issue was because my order was pushed as completed but that does not cover the fact my table number was up the entire time and the other service members completely ignoring me. I am at Cherry Creek for work every other week and wanted this place to be my go-to for meals but 3/3 visits of service being subpar- I've got to move on! I audit service for work and understand I can't make judgment from the first two visits. This third one solidified it! I am not comfortable at Flower Child. 3 stars for 3 underwhelming experiences.

The orzo pickle party was loaded with fresh dill, my favorite. The orzo was a bit over but apparently it didn't bother me that much as I ate it all. It was fresh and delicious. She told me all the salads are made fresh daily and you can tell by the taste that's true. The portion size I purchased was an 8 oz container for both. The price for the buffalo chicken, $10, and the orzo pickle party, $8. A bit pricy but worth it. There are larger portions available.
