As our walk got longer and extended we found ourselves in this little pocket of business area in the Park Hill neighborhood. Come to think of it, I have utilized a good handful of the restaurants in the last 5 years or so and Neighbors was one of them. I remember one of my friends (out of touch) and I came here for a flight of mezcal or tequila or some sort. The Yelp review I wrote back then dated over 5+ years. It all of a sudden became a moment of "walking back the memory lane". The time was 8:40pm or so. Although the restaurant doesn't close until 10pm, the kitchen was about to close (at 9pm.) Our stomach was still quite full from the dinner; we only needed after dinner drinks. Monday night at 8:45pm, the bar barely had any people in it. Dimly lit, the ambiance was quite exquisite. We noticed all sorts of wine cork art decorations on the walls and even the ceiling The kind waitress of ours allowed me to sample a few different reds (a Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi and a blend from Washington state.) Although the blend smelled better on the nose, the Cabernet tasted better on the palate. Decision making as to which one came easy: the Cabernet was the winner. I'm not much of a jammy Cabernet person. This Cab from Lodi, no wonder, appealed to me. Very structured, not necessarily velvety either and yet it's got a good character to it. The name of it is Klinker Brick (and the vintage is 2023). As of early June 2026, a glass of this solid Cab is/was $14.25. It became a nice "after dinner" wine to settle into the late night. As I stated earlier, this is a little picket of neighborhood that's mostly consisted of beautiful homes with $900k ranges. Unless you specifically do searches for restaurants in the very area, this will easily escape many people's notice. But that's the charm of it. Being away from the so-called "hip town vibes", I like this little quiet spot. And this wine bar's existence in it perfectly fits the description.

Their salads are also always so good. The produce is super fresh and their combos are usually surprising. For example, I just recently had their seasonal green goddess salad and it had farfalle pasta noodles which was so fun. Some of their menu is seasonal, so get what you like before it rotates out! The Oneida park spot is really cute. I love the interior and they have a great covered patio for more all-weather seating. Parking is always fairly easy as you can park in the nearby neighborhoods if needed.

The whole atmosphere here is very family-friendly. There's a large open outdoor area where kids were running around and playing, and being right next to a soft serve spot makes it even better for families. Inside, it had a great sports bar vibe without feeling overwhelming. They had all the NBA and NHL playoff games on, and I could easily see myself coming back here to catch a game and grab food with friends. The beer selection was also solid, with a nice variety of local breweries and ciders. For food, we started with the roni rolls, which were really good. The portion isn't huge, but it's perfect for sharing between 2-4 people. The menu mentions allowing extra time for them to come out, but ours arrived surprisingly quickly. We also split a half Caesar salad, which was pretty standard but worked well as a lighter course between appetizers and pizza. The highlight was definitely the Catapult pizza -- really flavorful and absolutely worth ordering. Would definitely recommend the pizzas here overall. For dessert, we went with the brownie skillet sundae based on our waiter's recommendation. It's basically like a smaller brownie version of a pizookie. The edges were a little overdone from the hot skillet, but overall it was still really good. If you're a brownie fan or just have a sweet tooth, it's definitely worth trying. Great energy, great setup for families and sports fans alike, and a place I'd happily come back to.

Totally OK, but the condescending tone is unnecessary. Again, first visit here and I was in a rush- it should be standard at the register to share that information; where to go, what to get. Second visit, I brought my colleagues and manager. Again, this information was not shared but luckily I was there to just get them what they needed. No big deal! But the food came out at different times and most of us felt uncomfortable eating food unless the entire table had theirs. Third time and here I am writing a review. I waited for my food as multiple people got served prior to me. I tried smiling and waving to someone who was delivering the food, and she was clearly avoiding me. She even checked in on everyone around me... On top of that, they seem well trained at removing the table number once the food has been served. My table number remained up for 25 minutes. I purchased an entree, drink, and a cookie- really trying to support the business here despite the lack of mind for the consumer. Not until another woman who seemed to have the outside coverage passed by was I able to get to share my issue. The manager came and offered me an additional side or dessert but my meal came with two sides and I had already purchased a cookie. He explained that the issue was because my order was pushed as completed but that does not cover the fact my table number was up the entire time and the other service members completely ignoring me. I am at Cherry Creek for work every other week and wanted this place to be my go-to for meals but 3/3 visits of service being subpar- I've got to move on! I audit service for work and understand I can't make judgment from the first two visits. This third one solidified it! I am not comfortable at Flower Child. 3 stars for 3 underwhelming experiences.

The food is good, the service is slow, the decor is beautiful green and white, but the dining area is always filthy. The staff do not keep up with cleaning off the tables, chairs, benches, and the floor. I have observed this on every dine in experience. The napkins are hidden behind the register. I wish that restaurants offering fresh produce would use organic for the dirty dozen which Crisp & Green does not. The sound level is good because I have never seen it crowded. The parking lot can sometimes be full but there is a lower level. I like the wraps, salads, smoothies, and açaí bowls. Focus on customer service and cleanliness for 4 and 5 star reviews!

They could pick a bowl or salad. All the ordering was done online and was delivered to us, so I did not have any interaction with the staff or get a vibe for the location. My biggest pet peeve with doing large orders online is that many places don't label what the item is. So it takes longer trying to figure out what the food is and who ordered that particular item. This place was even harder because many of the menu items had the same ingredients. I personally chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad. It had mixed greens, romain, tomatoes, cucumber, blackened chicken thighs, avocado, bacon, pickled onions and ranch dressing. Overall it was a decent salad. The chicken had nice flavor and it was a great mix. While the ranch dressing was tasty and herbaceous, it was also pretty intense. I didn't mind it too much. The veggies were fresh. My complaints with the salad that made it just okay, came from the soggy mix greens and the over red wine vinegar taste of the pickled onions. I couldn't even eat the onions and I love a good pickled onion.

It really gave me RVA (Richmond, VA circa early 2000s) nostalgia vibes like for places I worked in around Broadway during college! Wow. Love everything about this place. I'd been going to a lot of coffee shops lately where the style is all like new stuff and new style (which I LOVE) but the style of Tessa Delicatessen was so unexpectedly refreshing. I didn't realize that this part of Colfax was Park Hill! I saw a lot of other interesting places nearby. Can't wait to go back and wander! Not sure if it was the owner that greeted me at the register but she was very friendly and warm. I love the self serve coffee and water and you get to pick a unique mug to drink from. Really strong neighborhood vibe and I think she said it had been open since 2017. So cool! I'm obsessed with the spaciousness and space! My breakfast sandwich did explode all over my hand - so be careful! The egg is soft inside! I got coffee, cheesy hash and the breakfast sandwich. $25 for everything including tip. We started with their traditional black eyed pea soup because good luck traditions matter. Shortly after, I "found" three dollars in my coat pocket. Was it already my change from the store? Yes. The cheeseburger was solid and satisfying, the Reuben hit all the right notes, and the macaroni salad was exactly what you want it to be. No frills, just done right. Dessert sealed the deal. The cheesecake was rich without being heavy, and the carrot cake was genuinely excellent. Tessa feels like one of those neighborhood spots you can come back to again and again. Comforting, straightforward, and very good at what they do. Fortune and prosperity aside, this place is worth a visit on its own.

So, this place is right across the street, and we stopped in. We were delighted. For us, it was just what a small cafe should be. It was open, friendly, and very good. I had the Vegetarian Green Chili, and found it to be as good, or better than any similar chili I've had in my entire life. I also had a plain, black coffee - dark roast - and it, too, was perfect. Most of all, I enjoyed looking around, watching the world go by, and enjoying these fine products in a friendly, comfortable, and inviting environment. There is plenty of room to move around, they do a good job of keeping things clean, and all of the staff are very nice, and accommodating. I do not live close to here, but I would come in every day if I did. I definitely will come back, and I definitely will recommend it to everyone I know. We LOVED it.
