All of what we ordered was amazing but for me one selection stuck out, it was the Denver Disco Fries. If you have ever had Canadian Poutine this is very close ONLY BETTER. My favorite entree at Native Foods keeps changing. My current favorite is the Poppin' Jalapeno Burger with seasoned fries. The pimiento cheese is a delicious touch to a magnificent burger. Fries are perfectly crispy. As far as dessert, my usual go-to is the strawberry cheesecake parfait. Sometimes Native Foods offers a tiramisu which is equally as good. There's so many good food options here that will satisfy any mood that I'm in. I bring my family and friends here and they always have positive comments about the food and they're not vegans. read more

I am beyond pleased that this location is now family owned! I feel like they brought native foods back to its roots! The menu has some of the ORIGINAL classics that I haven't seen in years and the food has soul. So many locations closed when it became more corporate and the owner had brought back the native foods that I fell in love with. The staff is so nice and helpful. The food is 10/10 no complaints. I love this restaurant and am very loyal. I hope this location as the last location thrives and has an amazing future. A hidden gem. Native foods might just be the sleeper best American Fusion restaurant in the Denver area. Food is consistently great and I have never ordered anything here I didn't wholeheartedly enjoy. They have a nice sized varied menu with plenty of options. Staff is seasoned and knows their stuff. Owner is super cool and easy to talk to. Restaurant is pretty relaxed -- order at the front and they bring the food out to you. It is clean and spacious. I really like how I've never had to wait for a table. Wife is in love with a dish called the munchwrap supreme which is like a five star version of what Taco Bell's Crunchwrap shoots for. Very good. The Chicken Bacon Avo club sandwich is a legendary legend that still makes me wanna marry it after that first bite. The Maple Chipotle Chili soup is a new BFF that gets all the high-fives. YUM! YUM! I want to love this place more, but I struggle after my second visit. I love a vegan small business, making impact for our environment and our health. But that also raises the bar on quality of ingredients used... I had the Buddha Bowl. The sprouts were moldy. The avocado was covered in brown as if it's been sitting out for a while. The pineapple is definitely from a can. And probably the corn as well. I really wish the ingredients were fresher. This makes me hesitate to come back. Maybe a smaller menu would help keep things fresher. I don't know. I won't be back for a while after this visit. The staff are always kind and helpful. Clean up quickly and food comes out fast. I hate to write bad reviews but I have tried their food here several times, several items and it just isn't good. The first time I got a burger and maybe I shouldn't have jumped right in to the fake meat but thought I would give it a try and it was awful. I eventually have gone to salads and still not a fan. The azteca salad was served with a mango dressing that seemed like straight sugar. It was so sweet and way too thick. The potato salad was okay. I would say the best thing I have eaten there. I also don't like the fact that they have a Go Fund Me for keeping their restaurant open. Go Fund me pages should be for individuals struggling, not someone trying to run a restaurant. I visited Native Foods for takeout this week and ordered a Twister Wrap with a side of Mac n Cheese. As a vegan/vegetarian for years I've had all kinds of plant based food good and bad. I had pretty high expectations as the food looked delicious and seemed to be similar to restaurants I've been too in CA with a similar concept and menu. The online ordering process was great, but my food still wasn't ready 10 mins after the pickup time. For $22 I expected a larger wrap with more than one "chicken" tender or two, but the wrap was small and lacked flavor. The Mac n Cheese I was excited for, but also lacked real flavor and tasted like a very processed thin barely-even-cheese flavored sauce. Those sweet potato fries, though! If you're looking for low carb, whole grain vegan food, look no further. We had the Twister Wrap and the Orange Cauliflower Bowl yesterday -- absolute yumminess. The Twister Wrap is a low-carb option for those of you who care, but it's the most flavorful crispy "chicken" wrap I've had in a while. You get all the textures, which makes this handheld food perfect. (You get the option of grilled or buffalo style as well.) I highly recommend the chipotle sauce option! The wrap comes with a side, and of course I chose sweet potato fries (see my note below). The Orange Cauliflower Bowl looks like real orange chicken and the mix of corn, brown rice, scramble was just the perfect mix. The knowledgeable ladies who took our orders were super accommodating and just very cool about our requests. Our food was executed perfectly. Portion-wise, were both noticing that it was just the right amount. Bonus, which gave this place a 5 stars right away was their decaf and no-sugar iced tea option: hibiscus tea. Hoping their dessert parfaits options will come sugar free some day, or at least low sugar, because I want to destroy those in the best way possible. Also, hat tip to our Uber driver who recommended the sweet potato fries (LOL). They were crispy on the outside and soft in the center. That salt, pepper, herb and cinnamon (?) sprinkle over the fries was just... wow. I'm going to try to recreate it at home because I can't stop thinking about it. Meh! I really want to support a vegan/vegetarian restaurant as they're all closing but they're making it hard. It's a ways away from me so I've only been twice. Both times the people working the counter just seem really unhappy to take orders. Not just me as I sat and ate it was in general. First time, I had the Reuben it was eh... ok. Decent enough to go back again. Second time, I had the Baja tacos and they were pathetic! 98% cabbage. No flavor whatsoever! Like put some basic seasoning, lime or SOMETHING on it!! Smallest slice of Tempeh and a polka dot of sauce on each taco. The watermelon Agua Fresca was a 10/10. I personally don't think I'll return, sadly. I was a vegetarian through college and into my 20s and used to eat at the location that was in the Pavilions on 16th street mall all the time. I no longer am a vegetarian but go through phases where I just don't feel like eating animal protein and for that reason I am so happy that there's at least one Native Foods still in my area. The beautiful thing about Native Foods is that they make vegan food even meat eaters would enjoy. A lot of the things Native Foods has always been known for is still around: the lavender lemonade, the Reuben (it is SO freaking good), the oatmeal crème pie and peanut butter parfait...and they have some newer menu items that are great too. The Meatball Sub is fantastic and is comforting and full of umami but doesn't feel too heavy and isn't greasy at all. Definitely worth a visit! read more

This was one of the worst meals I have had lately. Sticky tables. Not impressed by counter staff. My Buddha plate arrived with a stink- the smell that your vegetable drawer gets when something has gone bad. The micro greens were rotten. Had to pull those off the plate right away. Pineapple - was diced pieces of the core! Avocado- stinky and past it's prime. Diced sweet potato was neither hot nor cold - that bad lukewarm temp. Teriyaki sauce on it was straight out of a jar. Chopped scallions looked like they were chopped yesterday. A few slivered almonds tossed on plate too. Got a side on MX corn. Was 100% previously frozen corn. Gloppy mess. Chips stale. I live vegan places. This place misses the mark completely. My photos make the meal look far more appealing than it was.
