    Vegan Chicken Waffle Breakfast Sandwich
    Jessica D.

These guys are consistently mind blowing. I love they are always changing up their menu and trying out extremely creative dishes that are consistently delicious. My day is always brightened when I can try out their new creations! The most recent menu items I tried was their lemon raspberry bunt cakes (so moist, flavorful, and perfect), the filled jelly donuts (perfection), their Irish Egg Rolls (unique and fun flavors), and the vegan chicken waffle breakfast sandwich. If you see their truck or come across their schedule you need to try them!

Best vegan mushroom sandwich I've ever had. Bar none. Boulder Philly is the way to go. Then try their Stack Attack burger. And pupusa while you're at it. You came hungry, right? I think WongWayVeg stacks up to one of the best vegan (former) food trucks in America - Cinnamon Snail in NYC. If you're ever in Denver, this truck MUST be tracked down.

Absolutely amazing! I am not vegan but the vegan fried chicken was out of this world. Would recommended 100%.

Amazing staffs, amazing Vegan/Vegetarian food that is INDEED filling.. what more can I ask for... Finally managed to get hold of this lovely food truck vendor at Stapleton. YAY! Wait... Did I get the right VEGAN/Vegetarian food truck... Err, why was it An ORANGE COLOR FOOD TRUCK with YELLOW DECALS?? I double check, triple check and take pictures... Just to reconfirm, the owner is indeed LISA WONG! Yes... *Shhhh just need to contain my excitement* Since I am on the move, I asked them if they would prepare, package my food order to be in TO GO Boxes or containers and whether it can travel well in a vehicle. They replied, "Certainly YES!!" From what I could recall I ordered the following items : * Korean Tacos $9 * Sesame Noodles $7 * Grabby Patty $8 Portions are INDEED Generous! Everything is flavorful though I cannot deny they ran out of one of the items in their menu that late Saturday afternoon. I was at the Food Truck about 16:40hrs ish. Hope one day I can catch WongWayVeg Food Truck again in my neighborhood. Please have more variety in your menu in the future pretty please...

Okay, I like most vegetables, and I like certain vegetables very much (sorry raw celery, I still hate you almost as much as salmon). I also enjoy meat (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, etc.), way, way more than I probably should. And, although I frequently refer to vegetarian food as, "bunny food", or "the food my food eats", I always appreciate food that is so tasty that meat is a mere afterthought to my palate. That said, I have really enjoyed the offerings of the WongWayVeg food truck. From what I can tell, the normal offerings include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free (with some overlap among the categories). I am certainly not the most experienced judge of veggie cuisine, but for me, this is about as good as it gets. The first chance I had to try some the offerings of the chef and proprietor, Lisa, was at a pot-luck event. Her sweet potato wraps were both tasty and filling. Since then, I have visited the WongWayVeg truck at local breweries. Since most local breweries in Colorado do not offer food, it is always nice to have a food truck on site, rather than ordering blah pizza from a chain. I have enjoyed the WongWayVeg Potato Latkes, the Mushroom and Onion Tacos, and most recently, the Drunken Winter Noodles. All were well prepared, delicious, and made excellent accompaniments to the beers I was enjoying. I look forward to trying more of this delicious food (I have my eye on you, Boulder Philly with marinated shrooms, onions, peppers, green chiles with spicy sweet blue agave vegan mayo) in the future.

Veggie tots and Baja Cauliflower Tacos

Really enjoyed our first time ordering. The veggie tots came with two sauces, one of which really had some kick. The Baja cauliflower tacos were the highlight, the cauliflower was still crisp under the breading so gave a nice impression of a "fish taco" with lots of texture and flavor. Ordering online was very easy, and they brought our food out to car within minutes of arrival since they had asked for our car description during order. I also liked that all their takeout containers including those for sauces were compostable.

WongWay?! More like HellYeah!!! The name is hilarious yet refreshing. I guess the owners name is Wong and has a superb sense of humor. I ordered lunch from this rather vibrant orange vegan food mobile of love. I went with a few work crew peeps as WongWay was parked at the Civic Center Eats event, AKA CCE for the more advanced and in-the-know foodie types. The menu is simple. I think I pondered upon four main items with a few side choices. I had the Sweet Potato Tacos; three flat tortillas with well seasoned flavors with a lime wedge to splash upon the deliciousness and a few slices of avocados. For $8.00, I was happy. If I hadn't eaten a later breakfast before coming, I would have wanted more food, the tacos would have not been enough to eat. The tots looked really good. I joked with my friends that they were little mini muffins, not tots. They looked scrumptious. They had water and sodas available to quench that thirst as well. I do think WongWayVeg does a good job. I will return, not sure when, but I will soon.

Wong Way Veg's "Boulder Philly." AMAZING.

"Then I saw Wong Way.... now I'm a Believer! Their food left no trace, of doubt in my mind!" OMG ok, so I tried Wong Way for the first time for lunch today, which most people didn't think to go as it advertises as Vegan/vegetarian food. But please, like I said when I ordered "just because you're not a vegetarian doesn't mean you can't eat VEGETABLES." YOU WILL NOT MISS THE MEAT- this food is fantastic! I had the Boulder Philly with Veggie Tots. The Boulder Philly is delicious (re: you must like mushrooms, there are a lot of deliciously marinated ones on this sandwich. I'm a mushroom fan so this was no issue). Surprisingly big and filling sandwich, I almost can't get to my TOTS. Which there were plenty of! Veggie tots won't leave you missing traditional tater tots. I thought they would just smell like broccoli or something but I swear if they just handed them to you without any other info other than "these are tots," you wouldn't know the difference in taste. And their side sauces (banana pepper ketchup and the green one lol) are nice and flavorful with a little heat underneath. Portions are pretty generous, when I go again, I'm splitting the Tots and Philly with a friend or saving it for later. But I was SUPER hungry today so flying solo worked out . Overall, I'm a new fan of this food truck. The ladies who run it are super nice, and I feel like this one is a well kept secret. It probably won't stay that way for long :).

Ordered the Pumpkin Curry from the food truck. Absolutely Amazing Such great flavor and was very happy with my meal. The service is great and the best part was there was multiple options to pick from. Definitely recommend trying!

The space feels very Root Down in the best way. Funky, artsy, a little mid century, but still comfortable and not trying too hard. Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. It just felt like a really thoughtful meal from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorite dinners I've had in a while.

So, in anticipation that we might not find much we liked, we actually ate before we left home. That turned out to be completely unnecessary. I remember trying the chicken-style seitan and several other things from the menu and being genuinely surprised by how good everything was. Not "good for vegan food." Just good food. What I remember most is that Watercourse challenged an assumption I walked in with. I didn't leave there suddenly becoming vegan, but I did leave thinking, "Okay, there's something to this." And all these years later, I still remember that meal and find myself wanting to go back and see what they're doing now. Sometimes that's one of the best compliments you can give a restaurant: you changed my mind.

We were enthusiastically greeted by Renee and I loved her energy, friendliness, and helpfulness. They do have a great HH until 6pm (and daily specials), which we took advantage of. We each got a Lavender Aviation cocktail (delish!) plus seitan and cauliflower wings, corn ribs, and a Philly sandwich. We LOVED the homemade ranch that came with the wings. My sister was afraid of the sauces they offered for the wings, so I got it on the side, which may have taken away from the wings themselves. We were partial to the cauliflower wings though. The corn ribs are a must and only $5 for HH! Unfortunately, the Philly fell short to me. It tasted like refried bean to me and was crazy messy and fell apart. It's always been a cute little place inside and they have some picnic tables in the shade outside to enjoy the weather without getting sun.

They have such a great variety of dishes to choose from, with plenty of meat and vegetarian options, so there's truly something for everyone. And if you like spice, this is definitely your place. The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
