Egg salad sandwich

We saw this pop up on social media and wanted to try it! I just got back from Tokyo so of course I was craving this. They also have a horchata matcha latte that my fiancé wanted to try. We got the strawberry sandwich, classic pork katsu, and an egg salad. My fiancé loved his horchata matcha latte. He also went back in to get a regular matcha latte when he finished it. All the sandwiches were delicious! My only gripe is that the prices were high for what it is.

I've been seeing Sandoitchi online for a few weeks now and I finally made time to come in and I'm so glad I did! It's been quite a while since I've been to The Source so I was timid of the parking situation. I was able to park out front and zipped right in/out. Now the matcha....I was tempted to get the matcha float since their soft serve is made in house, but I opted for a simple matcha latte to try out this time around. The flavor was on point and not super sweet, which I was worried about it being in your face sweet. The oatmilk didn't over power the matcha, yet complimented it beautifully! Service was super fast! I like the pop-up feel of it, but I truly think it should stay a staple in The Source! I can't wait to come back and try another matcha and some food!!!

Went to check out this pop-up store and enjoyed some of their sandwiches. Their bread tasted like something in between American white bread and Japanese milk bread. Overall, pretty good although pricey. - egg salad sando: not a super bold flavor, maybe missing a little more salt but I still enjoyed it - curry ebi sando: good flavor and looks like one of their more labor intensive sandos - spicy truffle chicken katsu sando: not spicy (maybe a hint), flavor profile somewhat reminds me of buffalo sauce - strawberry cream sando: strawberry is only in the middle where they slice the sando but refreshing and a nice sweet treat - friend fries: tastes like any other curly fries from frozen - hazelnut hojicha latte: it was fine, I felt like it was more hazelnut than hojicha, sea salt cream could be saltier There was a consistent line of about 10 parties but it seemed to move at a constant pace. Food was done pretty shortly after ordering. Service was friendly. Parking in the lot is limited so you might have to park across the street (street parking).

I had heard so much about this pop up, I was excited to see what they were talking about. The customer service was great, however the food was not. I ordered the Chicken Parm Katsu Sando, the Potato Croquettes, and the Horchata Matcha Latte. The croquettes were said to have ground beef and onions in them. They were pretty bland and the ground beef pieces were so minuscule. Also the texture threw me off, they were too soft. I definitely would not order it again. The chicken parm katsu sando was pretty good, I just wish it was cheesier and saucier. The bread was out of this world soft, and the chicken was tender. For the drink, it s was the most enjoyable part. It was cinnamony yet not gritty or chalky and the sweetness wasn't too much. I can't say that I'd be back but I'm no longer suffering from FOMO so a win is a win i suppose.

Price: We spent $84 total (including a $14-$15 tip). Eating here is definitely pricey, but I think it's worth it as a date night or to eat with some girlfriends. The food is well-balanced and flavorful. Food & Drinks: - Spicy Truffle Chicken Katsu Sando: This was delicious. It has a hint of spice that builds as you eat, but it's not more than a medium spice. The chicken katsu was so crispy and crunchy, and the combination of all the flavors blended perfectly. - Wagyu Burger Katsu Sando: This had a delicious sauce and a great crunch to it. They put something crispy inside, similar to that katsu chicken crunch. - Elite Corn Karaage: These were delicious! They have a hint of spice with cheese. They're elote corn or as my mother-in-law says, baby corns. - Strawberry Cream Sando: This was light and airy whipped cream with a delicious strawberry taste. - Mango Ube Lassi: They put mango purée on the bottom with oat milk and ube cold foam on top. My mother-in-law thinks it tastes like butterscotch, but I think it tastes like ube mixed with mango. The combination was perfectly sweet to me. Not too much or too little. It was like a light dessert in a cup. - Yuzu Arnold Palmer: This was refreshing and tasted just like mango tea. Service: The service was great and everyone was friendly. We waited in line for about 12-15 minutes to order. The service was quick. From the time we ordered until we received our food was only 8-10 minutes. Just found out you can order ahead online. Parking: Parking is free! Just make sure to read the signs because some have a time limit and then you have to pay. Atmosphere: They have seating available to eat both inside and outside of their pop-up. Overall Experience: I honestly think this one is a 10 out of 10 for me. Even though it is a bit pricey, I enjoyed everything we ordered and I would 100% come back to try more of their food. I highly recommend going before they leave on March 7th.

Overall great food and amazing matchas for such a tiny place. They made the wrong matcha incidentally and the nice guy at the bar remade it no questions asked! Loved the chicken katsu sando and my boyfriend liked his spicy chicken sando. Not groundbreakingly good, but nice and surprisingly flavorful. Nice little place! The pictures on their Yelp are not updated, so the selections aren't as varied as advertised, but good regardless. P.s. the Apple Maps address is incorrect!! It's at The Source.

I've had Japanese sandos a few times and they were always good, but not quite as good as I was hoping for. When I saw this popup in Denver, I had to try it. They were everything I have been looking for. My husband and I tried: - Spicy Truffle Chicken Katsu Sando - Peaches & Cream Sando Both were fantastic. Bread, filling, all of it. My only regret was not getting more, but given the long line, I didn't have time to wait in it again. I'm sad this was a temporary popup, but if they ever come back or I travel to a city where they are, I'll be back.

People really hyped this place up and I was super disappointed. Tried their pop up in Denver since it was there second time coming here. I was able to get there early enough so I didn't have to wait in line long. I got the spicy chicken katsu ($14) and the peaches & cream ($12) I was expecting spicy truffle to have a bit of a kick, but nothing spicy about it. Maybe they toned it down because it's Denver, who knows? The peaches & cream sando was better in my option. Not to overly sweet and the peaches weren't too ripe to where it gets soggy. I think what really made me not like it is the pricing. If you're wanting to get more than one, the you're paying at least $30.

I am very surprised by the low reviews. This place is amazing! I have been able to go every-time they have a pop up in Denver and I have never been disappointed. The egg salad sandwich and chicken katsu are outstanding. They are currently at the zeppelin station in Denver which is a fun vibe and many options to try from! The service is speedy regardless of the lines and even faster if you pre order

I was underwhelmed with the Sammie's. They are beautiful. IG ready. I do not know what I expected. The Sammie's are good. Not great. Kimchi grilled cheese was very good, Hot chicken... that was fire. Strawberry and cream Sammie was good. I wanted the whip cream to be "special".

Limited time, sandoitch comes to Denver Zeppelin station. They are a Japanese sandwich pop-up restaurant. I have been a fan since a few years ago. Strongly recommend ordering ahead online for fast service and convenience. Clean and hip vibe.

The employees here are so attentive and make sure you are getting what you need and even what you didnt even think you needed. The macaroni salad was so delicious. It's creamy without being heavy, perfectly balanced, and has that nostalgic comfort factor while still tasting elevated. It's the kind of side that could easily steal the show. The roasted red pepper and tomato soup was equally impressive. It's a silky, creamy bisque layered with smoky depth from the roasted peppers, finished with chives that brighten everything up. Even being plant-based, it doesn't sacrifice richness or flavor. Deeply satisfying and clearly well-crafted. The Pastrami Reuben is exceptional. The 12-day house-made pastrami is deeply flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned, layered with melty Jarlsberg, tangy pickled cabbage, and their signature Leven sauce on toasted house-made rye. It's rich, balanced, and everything you want in a classic Reuben--just executed better. I even reheated it a day later and it was just as good as when I ordered it. Equally impressive is the Smoked Beet Reuben, which honestly holds its own against the traditional version. The pastrami-spiced smoked beets bring a smoky, savory depth that feels surprisingly indulgent, not like a compromise. Paired with the same Jarlsberg, cabbage, and sauce, it's a creative, satisfying take that proves plant-based options can be just as compelling. Leven manages to take familiar comfort foods and refine them just enough to feel special without losing what makes them comforting in the first place. Definitely a spot worth returning to.

Leven Deli Co. is what would happen if Ron Swanson opened a Jewish deli in downtown Denver and let…read moresouthern blues play over the speakers while he worked. There's no performance here, no hospitality theater, no one asking how the first few bites are treating you. You walk up to the counter, you order, you take a number, you sit down. The food does the talking. And the food has a lot to say. I went on a bright Wednesday morning with a couple of friends and ordered the classic breakfast, swapping bacon for pastrami (a first for me) with an everything biscuit on the side (also a first). Both were revelations. The eggs over-hard might be the best version of that order I've ever gotten from a restaurant -- just a whisper of uncooked yolk in the center, perfectly seared on both sides. Skillet potatoes were spot-on. The skillet pastrami was rich and properly crisped at the edges. And the two generous slices of sourdough arrived with a scratch-made blueberry jam that I ended up smearing on everything I could -- sourdough, biscuit, probably would've eaten it with a spoon if no one was looking. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which clearly belongs in the staples category. The baguette was the star: toasted outside, pillow-soft inside, zero tug-of-war with your teeth. That detail alone tells you the kitchen cares. This is the Ron Swanson part: there's an unapologetic confidence to this place. They know exactly what they're doing, they're not trying to oversell it, and they're not interested in charming you into liking it. They're just going to hand you something excellent and trust you to figure out the rest. The coffee was good. The food was setting-a-benchmark good. A real 5 out of 5 stars, no pickin nits. Mild observation, not a complaint: the service is counter-only, no traditional table service. Would Matthew McConaughey or Reese Witherspoon dropping plates off elevate the experience? Sure. But Ron wouldn't have it any other way, and honestly, neither would I after eating here. If I lived within 45 minutes of downtown Denver, this would be my destination breakfast. As it is, I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if it were only 11, perhaps I'd go tomorrow. The real downside? The food was so good I completely forgot to take a picture.

Both times I ordered their Original Chicken sandwich. Each time we visited, it was busy. Limited parking, a line, sparse seating. This chicken sandwich was the best I've had. Large, all white meat, quality chicken. It was perfectly fried with a thinner breading. It didn't over power the meat but complemented it. The only topping this sandwich needs is pickles. They were thicker than normal, fresh, crunchy and juicy. The honey butter and fresh toasted bun rounded it all out. The side of fries were good too, crunchy and flavorful. If you're near Fairplay and looking for a good meal, go here. I'd go back.
