PAD THAI FRIES and SWEET POTATO FRIES
Jordan K.

Placed order via QR code as they were not taking orders at the counter. Took about 25 minutes for an order of pad Thai fries, sweet potato fries, and nachos. I ordered the tri tip nachos but upon picking up the order they were out of the tri tip so I opted for the chicken. Nachos were pretty good. Sweet potato fries were done well, but the pad Thai fries were so soggy. It had good flavor but it's just over sauced. We had some regular shoe string fries and those were perfect.

Chicken sandwich and fries took 45 minutes to be ready and it wasn't busy at all, when I got my sandwich it was not fully cooked and the fries were cold. Won't be eating here again

The fries was good.

The fries were good & crispy. The chicken sandwich was juicy. The Cobb salad was decent. I like that the salad was with mixed greens.

Mine and my kids favorite place to get a sandwich…read more The sandwich's are always great, I've never been disappointed. Today I ordered online. My kids have been sick and I didn't want to take them anywhere so I was trying to hurry and order for pickup. I messed up the order because I was rushing. That was all on me. When I went in there I offered to pay to fix MY mistake yet they were still very understanding and fixed my mistake. So thank you. Excellent customer service. It made me love our favorite sandwich shop even more!

The workers here both said it was extra even though I didn't get ham on the club sub and charged me extra to sub the meat. $4.95+tax for 7 thin slices of pepperoni to be exact. I even told them, I have NEVER EVER been charged extra unless it was indeed added meat. They shrugged and smiled at each other while doing it (even smirked while having the audacity to add 1 tiny slice after I mentioned that I only get 6 slices for $5) and still did nothing to improve my experience. The lettuce was also brown and looked unhealthy. By the way, the "OPEN" sign wasn't even on after dark either so I almost turned around before entering. Regardless, I should have gone elsewhere to begin with as I will never be back to this one after today's experience. $29.53 for a giant with SUBSTITUTED meat (pepperoni INSTEAD OF ham), 1 Large Drink, 1 Bag of Chips. $29.53!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're kidding me. TLDR: RIDICULOUS PRICING. WILL NOT RETURN. DON'T GET SCAMMED!

Primal House - Best Burger called Primal Burger $20 and so worth it!

I had my share of mediocre burgers in the past. You know the kind where it's hit or miss, or the…read morekind where the first bite is usually just a mouth full of raw onions?! Yeah well, this is definitely not the case here at Primal House. First time visit here, which we stumbled upon just by driving around and exploring. Now this place will definitely be a "must" whenever we come back into town. Ordered the Primal Burger, which in my humble opinion is second to none and probably one of the best I've had thus far! 4oz (x2) of the freshest, most succulent, meat-forward tasting, and perfectly cooked beef (medium rare) you could ever imagine! WOW, just wow! Superb service the day we came and we were also humbled to have met Chef Marcel who just happened to come out to the dining area to say hello. That speaks volumes in my book. Thank you, Chef. As I write this review, I'm already looking forward to trying their ribeye the next time we come back to town! LOL. CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

We come to Paso Robles pretty regularly to pick up our wine club deliveries -- yes, we're those…read morepeople -- and this spring trip we finally decided to give Primal House a shot. Made a reservation for seven, brought our own bottle of J Duci (obviously), and settled into the fine dining area, which was noticeably quieter and more relaxed than the bar scene. Great call. Now, we came in as wine people. But the beer? Genuinely blew us away. We did a flight just to be thorough, and my dad -- a man who loves his wine -- abandoned ship entirely and went straight for the black cherry dunkelweizen. How do I describe it? Imagine someone took a Dr Pepper, gave it a glow-up, and turned it into an actual craft beer. Bizarre. Wonderful. 10/10 would confuse my taste buds again. On the food: the artichoke dip had a nice little kick to it that snuck up on you in the best way. The pretzels and cheese sauce? We need to have a serious conversation about the pretzel-to-cheese-sauce ratio, because we ran out of pretzels long before we ran out of sauce. That's not a complaint -- that's a cry for help. Send more pretzels. Three of us went for the prime rib special and my husband got the ribeye with mushrooms. The salad that came with the prime rib was fresh and crisp, and the blue cheese dressing was legit. The prime rib itself was juicy, well-seasoned, and not overly fatty. Fair warning though -- it seemed like they roast it and then finish it on the grill, so getting a true medium-rare is probably off the table. Ours came out closer to medium, but it had this great steak-like texture that honestly worked. Would I order it again? Absolutely yes. The mashed potatoes that came with everything were also quietly excellent -- the kind of side dish you keep going back to without realizing it. Really looking forward to coming back and working our way through more of the menu. Hidden gem alert for anyone doing the Paso wine trail!
