The older lady with the glasses was rude cause she wanted to go home early. We ended our contract and our code expired immediately while still inside the spreads facility (car inside) so we asked how to get out. She laughed and walked away????? Left us locked in the storage complex and we had to ask other renters to let us out using there code since ours no longer worked. Like what a safety hazard thank gosh I didn't have my dog or kids. SCAM! June 2026 everyone received a notice the rent was being TRIPLED! 5×9 from $53 to $135! I talked to several other renters near my storage unit they all they received the same notice. I closed it down and donated most of the stuff to a thrift store. STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. read more

Dina is great, however there is a HUGE rat problem. My first unit had tons of rats even though I store no food and everything is binned. Moved to a smaller unit away from the field and still have rat poop every time I go in and have caught two rats in my own expensive rat traps. read more

I had a pick up truck stored in rv spot for 2 months and the catalyst converter is now missing. So weird that I called to tell them we were letting the spot go because the converter had been stolen, and Thomas immediately told me that the day we brought the truck in he took pictures of it and the catalytic converter was already missing?? Did he call us to say "just to let u know i saw the catalyst converter was missing? "" No ... Then he said I told him it was missing... ?? Don't get lured into a very big deception...! They start off by advertising a reasonable low monthly price but within 1 year you will be paying double the original price. Then expect it to almost double every year after that.... Stay away...! read more

Buyer beware. Bait and switch seems to be a trend with storage these days. Reliable renters who pay every month are not valued. Instead prices get jacked up soon after you move in. No way to lock in price. A lot of game playing, hidden fees and surprise increases and not a small percentage either. read more

Scam! They started me off at $180 for a 10x10 in February then jacked it up to $275 in August.

They increase the rate every month. Also it is a guarantee your storage unit will be @ least one foot shorter per side than what you agreed to pay for. 10'x5' was actually 8.75"x 4.2". They don't care. read more

I go through a tough time and I have to find a storage. With all thethings on my plate I was not looking forward to this. That was until I met Dina, she was so helpful. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Dina took her time in showing me why they stand out. She let me know they my items will be secure and that they had upgrade their system. The one thing that stood out the most is how she treated me. I went to a couple other places and didnt really feel like I was wanted as a customer. UNFORTUNATELY, I have to give a star!!! This place is super disgusting and pictures they have posted not sure where they came from. Probably from another location. I have had sevMyeral storage units in the past. Never had a problem. Several months went to get my things out of storage ad guess what I find?????????? ALL my items have been pooped, pissed on or chewed up!!! That place is full of rodents. Droppings in all my items. This place is infested and is unsanitary. Please rent some place else. Also, might want to do some homework when renting. When you rent a storage unit there is a "requirement" to have insurance! FOR WHAT?! I had to file a claim. Sent them all my pictures and documents requested to process my claim. Just received my notifications that vermin damage is not covered by the insurance. So I am at a HUGE major lost. I am so frustrated. So please if you're reading this go some place else. Workers might be nice but there units are disgusting!! I will try to upload pictures here if not on google. I thought it would have been my fault like maybe I left food for them or what not but no!!! They chewed up my table a pissed/pooped on my very good brand new mattresses and memory foam pillowtop. This place is horrible!!!! After my husband initially called for INFORMATION but didn't reserve they called him DAILY and left messages for a week trying to get him to reserve. Then once we decided to reserve, the day we showed up to sign papers, no one was there (even though we called that morning to confirm hours and they said they'd be there at that time but they were closing early). We waited for 30 min until someone finally showed up. While we were waiting, btw, we also called the 800 number and couldn't get a hold of someone at first and then once we did, they were surprised to hear that the facility said they'd be closing early because they shouldn't. Then the day we moved in, the person helping us took forever chatting and getting all our stuff set up. Why come in in advance if it's gonna take 30 min in the office when you have a truck load full of stuff waiting? To top aaaaall of this off we went today to move out our stuff and everything is COVERED WITH RAT/MICE POOP!!!!! I get that you can't completely control that but this seems completely unchecked and if you know it's an issue, WARN PEOPLE!! We would've laid traps or sprayed or something!! So not worth the money we spent to have such a horrible awful experience!!! read more

UPDATE: My review of this place was when it was "Mini-U-Storage." They were bought by "Smart Storage" in February 2015 or so.

To anybody who wants to use this facility, I highly suggest you rethink your decision. I admit the workers were friendly since I talked with them about my whole summer plans but that does not excuse how I was treated when my property was stolen. When I got back from summer vacation and went to my locker to get my stuff for my dorm, I opened the door to find out that my mini refrigerator and my plastic utensils were missing. Then when I told the manager, the guy who is always there, he tried to convince me that maybe a family member took it and that I just forgot about it even though I told him that was impossible because only I had the keys and the rest of my family wasn't even in California. Plus, this place was not a very safe or sanitary place to leave my stuff in for they have no security cameras to watch over anyone's storage spaces and there were ALOT of bug feces in the space when I got back. As a college student I cannot afford to have to buy expensive things all over again so I highly suggest that no one else use this storage place so that they do not have to go through what I went through. read more
