2 things you CAN NOT judge about this place: The suspiciously high reviews, and the appearance of the location. I was hesitant when looking online because of the overwhelming amount of 5 star ratings. I can assure you they are all real and very well deserved. I was also a little nervous when pulling up, it's not a fancy high end dealership, but it is just as trustworthy as any other. I bought a used 2015 Miata NC from here and it was such a quick and easy process, even considering I drove all the way up from San Diego! Jafar is incredibly kind, personable, and easy to work with. He was very quick to respond to any questions I had. What meant the most to me was that he did not treat me differently because I'm a woman. I am so used to sales people talking to my husband the whole time, even if I'M the one buying, but Jafar was the first salesman to fully respect and aknowledge me as the buyer and primary contact. The Miata was in pristine condition and was even better in person than the photos. I've had it for a month and a half now with zero issues. Smart Motors submitted the paperwork for me and the DMV sent me new tags and plates on time. Overall a wonderful experience and I highly reccomend. read more

Initial Visit I came in looking at a Chevy Trax I saw online. They actually had two available--both in great condition, low mileage, clean titles, and very well priced. Vehicle Selection Although the Trax was a good option, I was pointed toward a better fit: a 2021 Kia Soul. It had lower mileage, a clean title, more features, and I qualified better for it. Purchase Experience I left happier with the Kia Soul. It was newer, offered more value, and even came with both a protection plan and an extended warranty. Do NOT Buy from Smart Motor Sport / My Smart Motors - Read This First! My elderly mother and I had an absolutely terrible experience buying a used car from Smart Motor Sport (also known as My Smart Motors) and dealing directly with Jafar S. Alsmadi. We put down $5,000 for what was supposed to be a clean and reliable car. Instead, we got a vehicle with major mechanical issues, including: * A massive oil leak * Burnt transmission fluid * Failed corrosion and brake fluid tests * Contaminated cabin air filter * Serious suspension and shock problems * And more issues noted during professional inspection This car never should have passed smog or been sold without full disclosure. We had to take it in for repairs immediately, spending more money out of pocket on something that should have been road-ready. When we asked for help or clarification, we were met with confusing responses, shifting prices, and a total lack of professionalism. Jafar repeatedly changed the agreed-upon numbers, blamed us for their paperwork issues, and refused to return our money unless we followed his constantly moving demands. We were forced to deal with: * Unethical sales practices * Lack of documentation * Pressure to release the vehicle without being paid * And serious emotional stress for my mother, a senior citizen. This experience has been a nightmare. I've since reported the situation to the California DMV, and if necessary, we are prepared to pursue legal action for selling a car that violated multiple state laws. Buyers beware -- if you're thinking of purchasing a car here, don't. They may talk a good game at first, but once you pay, you're on your own. After reading all of the reviews for SmartMotors, I came to Joe with a lot of questions. He clarified them all and we ended up buying a used Toyota Prius from him. Joe and the team took care of us through the process. When some small things needed to be fixed during the warranty, he went ahead and fixed them right away. With used cars there are always going to be things that come up, but being able to work with a sensible person under the protection of a warranty made us feel confident and secure. This place is shady. Bring someone that is knowledgeable the mechanical aspect when purchasing. They will use tricks to make the car seem drivable. Purchased a used car here recently. Within a week, two issues...(I'm sure there will be more) 1. The battery was dead prior to purchase, the business stated they will fix it. They LIED. Within days of purchase, the car struggles to turn on. Took it into autozone to check the battery, was told it was a dead battery that was jumped to give enough power to drive off the lot. Had to get myself a new battery. 2. The tire pressure light started to flicker days after purchase with no puncture damage to the wheel. However, the mechanic did mention the tires being extremely worn and is a danger for someone to be driving with it. The company basically sold me a death trap... Be cautious when you purchase car here. Although they provide carfax report, it does not show the mechanical issues. They are not fixing the issues, only bandage it long enough to pass the issues onto the buyer. read more

Never do business with this dealer ! I purchased a Nissan Frontier from them just over a month ago. The truck has been Nothing but problems since. I've had the truck serviced by my mechanic every Monday ( my only day off ) since time of purchase. The dealership reimbursed me little over $500 in service fees but, I'm already out of pocket in excess of $2250 . Jafar told me "since your mechanic touched it...it's his problem now " Where I come from your handshake and word means everything. Unfortunately this dealer does not possess the same values.
