I had already test drove the car I wanted and was given a price by two different dealers. I then sent Authority Auto a message through Yelp and they got back to me right away. I spoke with Windy and told her the exact make, model and options I wanted. Windy took my information and within the hour she got back to me with me with a better deal not only on the price of the car but also a higher mileage limit. I didn't have to go into Authority Auto until I signed my final documents which was the same day the car was delivered to me by the dealer. AMAZING!! For context, I had been trying to get a Toyota RAV4 in Lunar rock. I was very particular about the color and features I wanted. I had initially gone to a Toyota dealership who said they would put in an order. I waited 4 months for them to tell me that they had no idea when they were going to get it. I ended up finding one at a different Toyota dealership who actually had this car that's EXTREMELY hard to find right now. I went in and almost purchased it for 10k over MSRP, which is pretty ridiculous, but I was feeling pressured that I wouldn't find another one. While I was waiting for that car to arrive, a family member referred me to Rich and as soon as I called he was on the hunt for this car. He guaranteed me that he could get it at a waaay better price so I decided to cancel on Toyota. A couple weeks later, Rich let me know that he found the car that had all the specs I wanted and most importantly in the color I wanted AND a hell of a better price. He saved me so much money and was able to find the car quicker than the actual dealerships. The buying process was quick. I was out of there in an hour with the keys in my hand. I came across Pacific Auto Sales and called in, the lady who answered the phone was very nice and informed me that the detailer is only available every other week. I told her I would call back to make an appointment. When I called back a few days later, a different lady answered and seemed pretty uninformed about everything I asked her. She even said she doesn't know when they'll be able to do schedule an appointment for me because she doesn't know when the detailer will be available. (huh?) She took down my info and said she would call me back as soon as she knows when the service will be available. That was about a week ago. The low rating is obviously for the customer service and not the work they did. How can I judge the work when they seem like they aren't interested in gaining a new customer? I almost called them again, but my pride wouldn't let me...so I found myself another. As you can tell, I don't deal well with rejection. read more
