Kenya was on the phone because she was providing us with the referral link from the Tesla app. Today, Monday, May 4, 2026, I had an 11:30 a.m. appointment with Paul to purchase my daughter's 18th birthday gift. Paul and I exchanged greetings, and he pulled up the car in the color I wanted. Paul told me there was a $250 fee today. He NEVER explained what the fee was for. I explained that I do not just turn over money without knowing what it is for or why. Paul looked me in the eye, picked up his phone and computer, and said I was not ready to buy. He then picked up his tools and walked to another table where another customer was waiting. Javier, who was in the same room on the computer, looked up while Paul was gathering his tools, and the metal chair was dragged on the floor. I explained to Javier that Paul was taking care of me and that he had rudely left me sitting at the table after insulting me. Javier then explained that the $250 is a non-refundable fee that covers the process of ordering the car, the buyer's interest rate, payment plan, and the total for fees and taxes. This was not explained by Paul. A few minutes later, I called to speak to the general manager or assistant general manager, and Paul answered. He stated that both managers were not working today. A few minutes later, Ace called, and I asked him to give both Paul, the general manager, and Ms. Amanda Young my number and a message. None of them have contacted me yet. This was my first experience at this location and also my first experience receiving service from Tesla. Marisol was so friendly and professional, I really appreciated her work with me. I did not get his name but the initial service technician that met with me was also very nice and knowledgeable. Checking in was a little confusing since it was my first time coming to a service, however it was easy to identify a Tesla employee and everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful! Mostly the concerns were under warranty and I was even provided a loaner since my car was to be kept overnight. I was very impressed by the communication and quick speed of the repair process. I came here with my mom to help her pick up her newly purchased vehicle as she's a bit tech challenged. This was a much better location for such as task compared to the Buena Park location. All of the employees we came across here were friendly and ready to help out. We definitely did not feel like we were being ignored. We did all of the scheduling and "paperwork" on the Tesla mobile app prior to our arrival. All we had to do was show up at our scheduled time and look for our vehicle in the parking spot that was texted to us. There was an employee available if we needed any assistance. Brought my car in for service at this location and couldn't get in a courtesy loaner vehicle for my pre-scheduled appointment on the app. Turns out that if the service might be completed in under a certain number of hours, a loaner vehicle may not be assigned. I was disappointed as I wanted to drive off. However, while waiting for my car to be serviced and strolling around to browse the new vehicle section, the sales rep informs me that I can always schedule for a test drive of a vehicle on the spot and run whatever errands I had. They let me and my family take a drive without salesman pressure. We were able to talk and enjoy the drive. We def are still Interested in the vehicle and will be hoping to get one soon. I asked someone for help if he could page someone. After another ten minutes, someone finally came in with my documents to sign. We did see some minor imperfections that they advised we could reject delivery and wait for another one to become available or have them corrected after the fact. I had a delivery of my Tesla here. This was my first in person Tesla experience and it was not best. I had a delivery time of 12pm was not called until about 2:30pm. There is a waiting area for everyone who is waiting for a delivery but there is not enough seating. A lot of people standing in a very small room for over an hour or so. It would be helpful if you received a text message when it was your time or if they had a screen with everyone's name and order either how long the wait would be like the DMV, or if they had an intercom so that you didn't have to wait it that small room and could stand outside. Another criticism was I was not given key cards and although the rep in the service center was helpful in getting me a mobile connector and license plate holder, he said he would deduct the cost of the key cards because I was supposed to get them but I viewed the invoice after I got home and I was charged for the key cards. The positive was all the attitudes of all the employees I interacted with was very enthusiastic and seemingly helpful with someone who was brand new to Tesla. read more

We decided on a whim as we're driving home in our model 3 to stop in really quickly and inquire about the 0.99% APR promo email on Model Ys. As we walked in, a young man promptly greeted us, and inquired if we had an appt or interested in a test drive. Almost immediately he encouraged a test drive, ask for identification and proceeded with entering my info into the iPad. He then warm transferred me to Noni who was our advisor for the visit. He quickly got us a Model Y and proceeded with the car review. While we already have a 3- it was a refresher and nice to actually see the interior. Noni was friendly and outgoing - he explained everything pretty quickly which I didn't mind. Again, considering I already own a Tesla it wasn't necessary as all I was really interested in was the financing . Noni gave us a key and encouraged us to go on a 20 minute test drive however since it was closer to 7pm we thought we'd just take it down the street and back in 10 minutes. The additional head and leg space was roomier for added comfort. After our drive, we walked back and got down to what I really wanted information on. Noni was thorough, not pushy and understanding of my questions on the financing. He encouraged to have us look into various companies for higher trade in value and assured that should we decide to move forward, he'll be notified through our email address. No frills, no fuss. We started the process almost 3 years ago of installing a Tesla battery wall for our home and as much as I hate writing bad reviews it has been one of the worst managed projects I've ever seen. Heidi our project manager at Riverside Tesla will not respond to emails despite many attempts. I had to set up SDG&E myself and after getting approved I sent Heidi the approval but again despite several attempts cannot get a response from her. Just months between emails saying "let me check. My Tesla app says I would have made $1700 in electricity being sent to the grid, but instead I spent about $60K for a system that I hope is working well but nobody cares enough to check their emails and respond. This is a review of our delivery experience at Upland. Scheduled our MXP delivery early in the morning - arrived and saw our car being cleaned up and the first one in the delivery area. Also had our MYLR lease, which we were looking to return but still pending the final inspection. Upland was kind enough to handle the inspection and lease end process, even though I didn't have an appointment for it. Had a little bit of a wait while my credit union wired funds to Tesla. Finance would regularly check on me and even let me take a Model S to grab some breakfast. About an hour and a half later, funds arrived and we got to inspect the interior. They offered to take photos of my husband and I in front of the car. Even sent us off with a nice goodie bag full of Tesla swag. Overall really fantastic experience. Staff definitely went out of their way to make the entire process enjoyable. read more

You can test drive any Tesla vehicle while you wait, or if it needs to stay they will give you a loaner of your choice. I chose the Cyber Truck Beast Founders Edition! Awesome experience driving that! Free charging while you are loaned the vehicle, just return it with around 80% for the next customer. When I first got the car, there was a pungent odor coming from the interior. I didn't notice this until I got home after taking delivery. I had to do my own investigation to find out that there is throw up left behind from the previous owner in the 3rd row seating. When I came on Friday to get my car detailed, like it should've been, the detailing crew was sent home for the day. I was told by Eddie to come on Monday and he will get it taken care of. He also stated that he will send me an email or a text to confirm what time to drop the car off. He never reached out to me. So I'm in the dark I don't know when to drop the car off. On Monday, I get there and Eddie stated that he was not able to get the detailed because I didn't bring my key card and he needed that. So he told me to come Tuesday morning. I get there Tuesday morning and Eddie informed me that the water was off and the detail crew was unable to do any detailing. Eddie didn't mention that to me. He told me to come in again on Wednesday and it will all be taken care of. Today which is now Thursday. I FINALLY get to drop my car off for the detailing that should've been done before the car was sold to me. The lady said don't worry I have the pictures and videos I'll make sure the detailing team takes a look at these areas and get this cleaned up. They gave me a loaner car for the day since I had work. I have Eddie calling me NONSTOP asking me "where is the loaner car" that I needed to return it. "Your car is ready" and he seemed to be upset that I still had the car when I told him and the lady that I would be back later on in the day because I work. I get back at 5pm and of course NOTHING was done to the car. Maybe a wipe down of the exterior. The areas that l needed attention to wasn't even just a bit considered. Which I pointed out to everyone that I talked to! At this point, I am done with the unprofessionalism from Upland Tesla. So I thought I bought a beautiful black model Y with clean white interior. Yes, a used car. I understand that. What I never agreed to in what I bought was an abused interior, old vomit, old food in between the seats, brown dirt on the seats, sticky candy, and trash. Tesla Upland has no regards to making sure their customers receive a clean thoroughly washed interior and exterior car. I am so disappointed in the customer service I've received from Tesla all together. No one should pay the money I did CASH! for an abused car with a horrible smell of vomit. No customer should have to find vomit between seats and clean it themselves because their Tesla location has yet to offer an actual detail, which should've been done before delivery. To put icing on the cake. I was told by a different service manager that they would send me to a professional detailing company near by to get it taken care of. I have YET to get any information or email confirming this. I asked a service advisor to take a look under my account to see if there were any such notes stating. Of course NOTHING. They also promised to give me a gift card/ supercharging miles on them but nothing had hit my email yet. This is now the 6th day of me dealing with this. The 2108 Model 3 Tesla on board charging module or power conversion system that charges low AC "home" to DC was determined to be dead. Therefore, the car will not charge at home, only at super chargers. As a customer who has owned my Tesla for 7.5 years, I'm out of warranty and of course planning to one day (3 years later) buy another Tesla, but the service quote I received to fix the charging module was 3900 dollars, which is outrageous. The Upland service rep in person and a Costa Mesa manager replied by message that the cost is set due to not stocking the 2018 part. I've researched through several sites and Teslas do have these charging modules go out, so why not stock it?? Rather they are trying to charge the customer an unreasonable amount. I will continue to reach Tesla high level leadership, but for now bad taste, bad business and no help for current and future customers. This place sucks! Parking is a joke, they make you park practically in Arco, who's wants to do any business after 1/2 mile walk. I went to buy a charger for my husbands Tesla no signs for a parts department. So I walk to the service area waiting area because no one acknowledged me when I walked in. She was very nice and directed me to the service department. I see one line I see about 8 desks with only two people working. When I get called, they asked for my number associated with the account. I say we don't have an account here. I just need to get a part and she said oh you need to go scan the QR code over there at those other desk have the VIN number and someone will help you. I'm like really now I gotta wait longer. I'd rather go to Best Buy pay the extra $30 for this wall charger because there's no signs directing me letting me know what I should do. read more

we stumbled in the Upland Tesla store very frustrated because we had just ordered a preowned model Y from the Buena Park Tesla store. We explained that we could not get anybody to pick up the phone and when the manager of the Upland Tesla store tried he had the same experience - - could not get anyone to pick up that phone at that location. While we were there, we decided to test drive a new model Y and they made that very easy and fast. we drove up towards Mount Baldy and when we came back and did the math decided that with the 0.99% financing offer and the tax rebate the price difference between a model Y and a used one wasn't that big. What really sold us was the outstanding service. The manager was great as was Matt. Both of them helped us -- teamwork was exemplary -- something that you don't usually see at a car dealership! What song is that? They were not able to waive the $500 deposit that we put down on the preowned model Y but that's OK. It wasn't their fault. Overall fantastic experience and a great team. I wish that I had checked out their Yelp review as well as the Winter Park Yelp review at the time. One word of caution, avoid weekends because when we went back, they were so slammed the place was packed -- weekdays seem more manageable. However, this was also due to the 0.99% limited financing offer. We've had the car for over a month and each day we love it even more! read more

I honestly wouldn't recommend getting a Tesla after what I've been through. While driving, my car suddenly slammed on the brakes out of nowhere, there was absolutely nothing in front of me. It was so sudden that I ended up hurting my neck and shoulder. I took it to the Tesla Service Center thinking they'd take it seriously, but they said they "found nothing wrong." Since then, they haven't helped me at all. No loaner car, no follow up about my injuries, nothing. The only "solution" they gave me was to turn off the automatic emergency braking system every time I drive, which makes no sense because that's supposed to be one of the main safety features you're paying for. I used to really believe in Tesla and their technology, but this experience completely changed how I see the company. There's zero accountability, no compassion, and no real support when something goes wrong. If you're thinking about buying a Tesla, please learn from my experience. We just bought 2 Teslas from dealerships this week and gave them over 150,000 of business and I have to say we have received no service. It's so frustrating. Tried to get in contact with a manager, and they said none was working. I have been a corporate manager to a well known business for years and know that they always have an LOD. I try calling different dealers, corporate, Tesla insurance etc and no one answers the phones. If I didn't like my vehicle, I would send it back to them. It's like everyone is a robot and non human. You go in and speak to them and they look at you like you are an alien and you are speaking a different language. I waited over an hour and paid 30 for a Lyft and for them to tell me theirs no car for me to demo for 48 hours. They literally wasted my time and couldn't do any accommodations. Andrew's service (the one working at service check-in) was absolutely horrible. I live 50 minutes away and told them that I called everyone close to me, family and friends and no one was available to come pick me up. They said they couldn't spare me a car because it was only reserved for overnight customers. Then now I look at the app and it's overnight anyway. Even if it wasn't certain, Service closes at 6. Meaning it would've been overnight anyway. Not only did I miss a job interview, as rare as they are these days, these two both did not care a single bit despite knowing that 90% chance that the car would stay overnight and 100% chance I would miss my interview. One Star - Very Unprofessional and Rip Off I wish I could give Tesla Solar zero stars. Their price match policy is a total scam. They advertise on their website that they'll match lower prices if certain conditions are met--but even if you meet every single requirement, they'll come up with some weak excuse to deny it. It feels intentionally deceptive. Trying to talk to an actual human is a nightmare. You can't reach anyone without booking an appointment, and that usually means waiting a week or more. And when the appointment finally comes, the representatives are rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Tesla might be good at making cars, but when it comes to customer service and transparency with their solar division, it's a disaster. I regret going with them and would strongly advise others to stay away. read more

We reserved a 48-hour demo drive for the Tesla Model X over a month ago, and just 12 hours before pickup, Tesla of Upland canceled our reservation without warning. This was incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the time we waited and planned around this experience. We were genuinely excited to explore the Model X and were seriously considering a purchase. The last-minute cancellation showed a lack of professionalism and poor customer service -- not at all what you'd expect from a brand like Tesla. It's unfortunate that after weeks of anticipation, we were left with a rude response by tesla representative stating "you do understand the vehicles are for sale." I tried to explain, that this was not informed and a confirmation was given by 3 different representatives on 3 different occasions. I helped a friend who was a buying a Tesla and the experience was quite disappointing. Everything communicated during the online purchase process made it seem like it would be as easy as showing up for the appointment, agreeing to the terms on the app, pairing the app with the car/key card, then driving away within a few minutes. We didn't expect to be waiting for an hour and I didn't expect the only parking options would be a muddy gravel lot (not sure if this an option, I just saw cars there), or at the very end of the available street parking. There are clear signs saying "no customer parking" in the Tesla lot, so plan to park quite a distance way and walk back on the street while cars speed by because there are no sidewalks. Good luck if you have someone in a wheelchair or with limited mobility. The car still had some kind of obvious tape on the area where the truck closes. It was the first thing we saw so I don't know how they missed it, but it makes you wonder what else they might have missed. read more

It was actually my first time at a tesla service center. Ever since I picked up my car at a lot during covid times, haven't had to take my tesla in. However, my model 3 stopped charging and I received a notification that it needs to be serviced. I contacted tesla upland through the app. Josh helped us and he was awesome! We mentioned some minor issues with our car but never got fixed. The car is out of warranty now and it would normally cost us for labor. But Josh addressed our issues and got it fixed free of charge! Josh was very responsive to our messages and updated us every step of the way. The entire process was smooth. We got a loaner car for a few days while they fixed the car.
