I'm shocked by how few reviews this place has. The food is truly incredible and consistently so. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the best fried chicken sandwich in Boston- period. The service is equally good; bartender Milk remembers everybody who comes in more than a couple of times and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. They never miss at Small Victories.

Go for the $1 wings on Sunday! I love the quiet few in East Boston so I was so happy to hear that the team was opening a place near Andrew. It's a similar vibe inside but bigger. Just like the other location, service is at the bar. Everyone was so friendly and quick with the orders. Went for the $1 wings and they were so good. They have a lot of options so we went with: hot honey, buffalo, Parmesan, and chimichurri. Best wings I've had in a while. Can't wait to go back!

Sandwich was good lots of fillings.Love oysters. Buffalo wing was great a little hot but I like it and Harrisa sauce was too creamy for me.

Nice cozy spot needed in this neighborhood. Long bar but somewhat limited seating. That said, both times I've been there we have gotten a table. Large selection of beer and whiskey (that's all I paid attention to). For appetizers they have something named "Big ass pretzel" which is aptly named. Otherwise bar food is very good! There are various games to play and a Photo Booth for this kid friendly pub. I recommend this place.

After checking out the famed Feneuil Hall and Quincy Market, my husband was ready to go on a sightseeing strike if I wouldn't have gotten him a beer! The Sam Adams tap room was there, but too crowded and popular. We love indie places so we went back to Distraction & Democracy and it was the wisest decision! The space is big, wide, the ladies working the counter are super helpful and friendly, we tried their Amber Ale, it was great, so we ordered a couple of cold ones. Lots of cool seating options, we got some in the shade at a table facing Faneuil Hall. Hard to beat that view! The beer was amazing, the place relaxing, some friendly folks around chilling, taking a break in action like us! They have clean portable toilets with water sinks and soap. Lots of them! Great experience! Enjoyed our well deserved beer break here! Fun and relaxing, cherished a cold one surrounded by the city's history! Cheers!

The bartender told us the market folks rescheduled at the last minute, then offered beers on the house for our trouble. It's a great location with views of the Sam Adams brewery and Faneuil Hall. All their beers are on tap and I've only had great pours. For food, there is standard bar fare and you'll get a buzzer to let you know when to pick it up. So, while I didn't get to visit the actual brewery, this tap room in the heart of downtown was second best. When you arrive, there is a gatekeeper checking ID's like I am about to go into a nightclub with glowsticks just right off the campus of some college. You even get a stamp on your hand. Beer and food were to be ordered at the bar. I asked the bartender if the outdoor patio was open and he rolled his eyes and pointed at a sign that said upstairs was closed. Sorry I missed it when going through the TSA precheck line. I then asked about flights and he looked annoyed again. I got one anyway. Sorry if you have to pour 4 mini beers instead of 1 big one. Life is tough. Anyway, the beer was solid, and glad I got to try 4 new things that I haven't had. I wish the upstairs patio would have been open as it was 71 degrees and sunny. It's not like they had servers so I can't think of a reason to cattle us all together.

The music, the atmosphere and staff were amazing. The owner, Steve, was attentive as well. He came over, congratulated us on our anniversary and spoke about his vision for the restaurant. Overall, this is a great restaurant with fun vibes. We will definitely be back to try the dinner menu.

Staff were extremely friendly, but just a weird experience (for North End IN Boston). People walking around in sunglasses, loud poppers being shot with confetti in the air, lots of yelling- just a loud, rambunctious scene. Food on the menu wasn't bad (although they were out of certain items); I tried the chicken sliders, the chicken tacos (with mango and pineapple), and the champagne strawberry pop-tarts. Fun (and wide) selection of food; and lots of cocktails (all for show- little alcohol but all had a "fun" presentation). Not my vibe so would not return- but if you're looking for a Miami club vibe, this restaurant is for you. Maybe drink before you get there, if you actually want to feel the alcohol.
