Saw photos of their smash burgers and knew that I had to stop by and give it a try. Here are the items we tried (as of 2/2026) - Chopped Caesar - $13 - Nicely dressed with some bacon bits on it. Overall nothing special. - Basket O' Fries - $8 (for the classic style) - Flavor wise, this was something we weren't expecting. We had assumed that it would be plain fries, but for some reason it tasted as though it was dusted with a Cajun seasoning. While the fries themselves were nice and crispy, we were not fans of the seasoning (there's no mention of it in the description). Be warned if you're expecting plain fries. Not sure if it was supposed to come like this or not. - "Hell Yeah" Burger - $22 - This was what I came here for and once again (there's a theme here), it wasn't quite what I was expecting. The burger itself was pretty good as it was two 4 oz patties smashed and went well with the other ingredients. The thing that was unexpected was the patties being marinated in a whisky marinade. If you love the flavor of whisky, then this will definitely be for you as I did taste a hint of it in the burger. Unfortunately for me, I enjoy the flavor of beef in a good burger and the marinade masked a lot of it. I do wish there was an option to get patties that aren't marinated. - Nashville Hot Chicken - $16 - A pretty good fried chicken sandwich. To me it was a little heavy on the Cajun seasoning but I really enjoyed the juiciness of the chicken. I'd get this again. Another thing to note is when we were there you order at the bar as there was no strict table service. The food itself was well prepared and the prices are definitely reasonable. Nice cozy spot needed in this neighborhood. Long bar but somewhat limited seating. That said, both times I've been there we have gotten a table. Large selection of beer and whiskey (that's all I paid attention to). For appetizers they have something named "Big ass pretzel" which is aptly named. Otherwise bar food is very good! Great vibe! We came in before a dinner party because we saw the Pride ‍ flag. Great service and drinks. Very no nonsense! A giant bar and some fun games like shuffleboard and video games. Go for the $1 wings on Sunday! I love the quiet few in East Boston so I was so happy to hear that the team was opening a place near Andrew. It's a similar vibe inside but bigger. Just like the other location, service is at the bar. Everyone was so friendly and quick with the orders. Went for the $1 wings and they were so good. Killer spot. Decent beer list on tap, a few screens behind the bar for March Madness, April Foolery, or May(be) a First Date, and the belle of the ball - a tremendous food menu. At first, I was miffed by not being able to leverage $1 wings on a Sunday, but I gladly paid full price for perfectly cooked, crisp skinned, seasoned and sauced (trad buffalo and kung pao) exquisitely. They were fatties, too, with drums the size of full-grown chicken legs. Paired with a cold pint, the Mozz-illa Sticks (three giant fried cheese planks sided by cold peperonata salad, marinara and sliced capicola, salame and mortadella, and the Luda-crisps (housemade chips and French onion dip)... It made for a perfect afternoon hang with pals. Guys behind the bar were super chill, and the vibe was funky and relaxed. Definitely planning a return visit. read more

I'm shocked by how few reviews this place has. The food is truly incredible and consistently so. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the best fried chicken sandwich in Boston- period. The service is equally good; bartender Milk remembers everybody who comes in more than a couple of times and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. Small Victories has finally opened in Southie near the Andrew Square T station. This neighborhood sports bar offers a casual fun atmosphere with a full service bar with stool seating, high top tables with stools, tables and booths. There are several flatscreen TVs, beer lights, framed pictures on the wall, a photo booth, and a shuffle board. They were playing a good mix of music from the 90s to the 2010s over the speakers. The food menu offers an interesting lineup of appetizers, trays, bar snacks, salads, burgers, hot dogs, and sammies at moderate prices. The bar menu offers 8 draft beers, canned alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, whiskeys and frozen drinks. They also sell Small Victories t-shirts and Southie caps. I stopped by Small Victories for food and to catch the Sox game on the TV. I ordered the Simple Burger ($13 plus tax) and added a Poutine Side (add $5) and Fried Grillo's Pickles appetizer ($14 plus tax). The food came out altogether in about 13 minutes. There was a lot of food in front of me. I dug into the burger which had a soft grilled beef patty (medium cooked) topped melted cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles on soft buttered bun. The side poutine in a salad bowl had the standard golden French fries topped with lots of cheese sauce, scallions, and gravy. The basket of fried pickles was very filling & greasy which were crispy with a salty taste and a creamy dill dressing provided for dipping. I was also given ketchup too. I also needed a box for much of the fried pickles which I reheated later in the oven to watch the NBA finals on TV at home. I also requested the check after realizing the Sox had no chance of winning. The check was $34.24 with tax and before tip. The service here was laid back and I was able to take my time to watch the game. read more

I absolutely love The Quiet Few and Small Victories brings the same vibe in a bigger space with the same amazing food. I went for my go to the hell yea burger but subbed for the beef patties instead (not a pork eater anymore) anyways it was fantastic as always had fried pickles and they are the best in town hands down. For a pub this place has fantastic food that is also very inventive. I had a sausage sandwich called the Frito Pie Weiner wrapped in pork chili with toppings of jalapeños, onions and more. Wow was it good!. The burgers are top notch too. It was very good for a smash burger. We also got a side order of fries which were outstanding. Topping it off with a caesar salad with chicken was a hit with excellent service. read more
