Surprisingly one of the best meals I've had in a while. The patio setup is quaint and the walls are high enough to separate you from the road. Monday night had live music and whoever was singing was awesome- didn't want him to stop! Our server was super friendly and came by to check on us often, with perfect timing. The food was incredible and hit a craving I didn't know I had. The Jameson burger was massive, patty about an inch thick. The blackened chicken sandwich was on fresh ciabatta, and the chicken was perfectly juicy... I could have eaten two it was so good. Our Parrish bartender, Christina, recommended we go to The Banshee in Dorchester to watch the Sunday Packers game (sadly the Browns won in what should have been an easy win for Green Bay). We were to tell Joy (our Packer game Bartender) that Christina sent us. Joy welcomed us and was expecting us! She was so kind and warm and sat us at a huge table where she promised we'd enjoy other hometown fans. Which we did! 6degrees of separation conversations ensued with people from Hartford Madison Milwaukee GB Kenosha Waukesha Muskego. The AC was cranked so a delish hot creamy clam chowder warmed us up. Moved to Dorchester not too long ago and I found this place just walking by, my new place to watch Liverpool games.

Awesome bar. The Guinness pour was the best I have ever had in Boston. Dooley's is really good. Will have to do a taste test to be sure.

A classic American bar conveniently located in the corner of dorchester that's great for hangout with friends. We got the chicken tenders with honey mustard which was delicious!! We also got dumplings and the screaming banshee for drinks but they're your typical bar food/drinks, nothing really stood out to me. The service was quick and our waiter was friendly. The atmosphere was nice with a moderate amount of seatings and the music wasn't too loud which I enjoyed! I had a great time catching up with friends there. The Banshee is the best. We held our annual Christmas party last week. The food was tremendous. People couldn't stop talking about how tasty everything was. I thought this place was okay. The steak tips and side salad I had were good, but the mashed potatoes I got had no flavor at all, they completely lacked salt. Don't take your girlfriend here on a first date. It is way too loud and definitely a sports bar! Now having said that, definitely come here if you want to shout at your favorite team, spend all day with sports fanatics, and dress up and your teams favorite colors. This place is a ton of fun! Whether those teams are rugby, soccer, football and more you will feel highly accepted!. After getting over the cheers of fans and having my ears adjust, I have to say that their food was honestly some of the best sports bar food I've had in a really long time. This place is a great spot to grab some drinks and catch a game. It's decently sized but on the smaller size. Typical Irish pub with a local feel. Patio, too! Extensive list of local beers and pretty good cocktails. Now onto the food... it's decent. Fish and Chips were pretty good and they gave malt vinegar on the side so A+ for that. I hate to give a one star but I was absolutely disgusted with the fact that so many health violations happened. Your waitresses/ bartender had a puppy brought into the bar and proceeded to hold the dog, play with its mouth then get it water behind the bar where customers drinks are served. She then without washing her hands after holding and petting the dog proceeded to open customers beers, then get my food and bring it to the table. She then again after delivering our food picked the dog back up walk around holding the dog and petting it while we ate and then come get our refills again without washing her hands!! I live around the corner and the Banshee is my "go to" local bar/restaurant when I'm looking for some Cajun wings, various sports games on their 8 monitors and a 'Gansett or two. When the local teams are on they usually crank up the broadcast. Otherwise, Spotify playlists with all varieties of tunes, sometimes a bit loud. Wednesday's--trivia night, even if there is a game on: 7-11 pm. Generous portions and always interesting specials. There is an upstairs bar that is often used for parties or, on football Sundays, to house a large and local group of GB Packers fans. Food was above average, However, service was comically bad, I had the asked the middle aged red headed Irish waitress, do you have Heineken on Tap, real quick to me , she replied , yes, do you want one or not, threw the menus down & then came back later to take our order.
