    Poke salad

I wet here for a first date. I got a little lost trying to find it as it's on the second floor of the hotel and there's all these intersections and garages and skybridges and doors - ah! City-living amiright? Anyways, it has a nice vibe to it, kind of like a finance bro's Chili's. My date and I were so consumed by our conversation that our poor waitress had to keep coming back to see if we were ready - we really appreciated her patience. I ordered the Poke salad, which was pretty good! I got the smaller portion, too. It was enough though! I would certainly come back to try some different menu items.

Quite possibly the worst Buffalo Wings ever. I'm not sure how they prepare them. Heavy vinegar flavor, strange texture. Almost like they microwave them before serving .

Fun vibes!! Friendly bartender who approved our choice of wine from New Zealand and steered us to a very tasty Calamari appetizer. The museum we wanted to visit was sold out, so . . where's the closest wine bar with food? Huge draft beer selection but also our kind of wine! I recommend.

Tried Yard House for the first time at the Marriott Copley in Boston--and I was pleasantly surprised! The food, drinks, and service were all amazing. I say "surprised" because I've heard less-than-great things about the Yard House locations in the DMV area. But this experience exceeded my expectations! They even helped celebrate my birthday with a delicious dessert!

Good beer list. Could have more local offerings. Every single food item came out cold. Calamari cold. Butger cold. Fries cold tacos cold and chewy. Even on a game day that should be unacceptable. Service was okayish. Dont fall for the goofy tall glasses. Lots of tvs with games on. Good atomsphere. I would try again because im a lunatic.

We came to the Yard House for dinner on a night when we were attending a concert and there was a Red Sox game happening next door at Fenway Park. We were lucky enough to arrive before the Red Sox game let out. We were seated right away but within a very short time the dining room and the outside seating area were full. We did find that the host tried to seat us at a dirty table but once we pointed out that it appeared to be in the middle of being cleaned he found us a cleaner table. That is my only complaint-if you can even call it a complaint. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. The beer menu is extensive with many great choices. I also like how they offer various size glasses for most of the pours. We shared two appetizers as our meal and there was plenty to eat. We ordered the Spicy Za'atar Hummus and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts cooked with gochujang sauce, crispy garlic, and served with a malt vinegar aïoli dip. Both were freshly made and so delicious! Even though we have a Yard House location near us, we have never been. We will definitely go back.

I've been to Yard House plenty of times, but this location on Brookline Ave in Boston is easily the worst experience I've ever had. I've visited multiple Yard House locations, both in-state and out of state, and none of them come close to this level of disappointment. We stopped by after the Boston University men's basketball game against Holy Cross, around 10pm on a Monday, hoping to grab a late-night bite. Big mistake. We ordered our usual hand-battered chicken tenders, but when I took my first bite, the chicken was undercooked and gooey inside. I let the waitress know, and her response was that it was just the breading they use. I explained that I've had these before and never had an issue, but she didn't seem too concerned. I also ordered a grilled cheese with fries for my son, and somehow, they managed to mess that up too. The cheese wasn't even melted--how do you mess up a grilled cheese?! For our entrees, I had the lobster noodles, and my wife went with the Maui pineapple chicken, served with white rice and broccoli. Both were edible, but honestly, nothing to rave about. Overall, this experience was a huge letdown, and I'll definitely be sticking to the Yard House in Dedham from now on. This location didn't come close to living up to the Yard House standards I'm used to. Definitely won't be back.

I've come here on two occasions and had a great experience both times! Our servers were always enthusiastic and prompt whenever we needed anything, which fits perfectly with the upbeat and fun atmosphere here. They have a lot of dining and it's easy to get a table on weekdays, but I'd imagine it's much more difficult during major Fenway events. I got the chicken and pancakes which came with a hot honey syrup - I would easily order this again! The spiciness wasn't too bad yet also added some character to the classic chicken and waffles. The ahi tuna sandwich was also amazing and cooked perfectly rare, paired well with the brioche bun. I love coming here whenever I'm craving some good easy food, their menu has so many options!

    Fresh guacamole and crispy chips

Beware if you like a quiet place, avoid this place. This eatery is hopping! We entered at 6:30 on a Wednesday evening and the place was packed. Fortunately, there was a table on the on the 'terrace' - outdoors street side. We ordered matches and guacamole dip as an appetizer. Fresh dip and crispy chips, good enough for three. I ordered the burger with a side order of fries. The burger was medium with a slight tinge of grilled. The burger was great. The Takeaways 1. It's Boston, forget parking. 2. Excellent portion sizes. 3. Fantastic burgers and fries. 4. A must try: the Oreo brownie! 5. A bit pricey but worth it. 6. Service was great.

As a non-beer drinker, all I can say is they have a number of Harpoon beers on tap, as well as a hard cider that I am fond of, and for sustenance, they have a taco truck that I kept seeing people carry away nachos from. The one downside is that it is super LOUD from the performance stage at one end of the seating area. I am begging whoever organizes the performances to turn down the mic just a little. At some point, the live performances switched to a DJ which made the volume a bit more tolerable but my watch was still picking up dangerous decibel levels. We grabbed a table that was the furthest from the stage and I was still hoarse at the end of the night from shouting at my friend across the table. They have some reserved/standing only tables closer to the beer/food at the other end that might be quieter but we came on a Thursday and of course everything was packed. If you're looking to have a semi-quiet conversation, definitely go elsewhere in the park. But this pop up is a good choice if you just want to hang with friends, drink beer, and eat tacos. If you need to use a restroom, pro tip to use the AMC across the street.

But our table was in the main bar off to the side, so it was chaotic but fun. I do wish it was more private but it was still fun, just loud. Our waitress was really nice and did well with our large party. Their menu is mostly apps and smaller plates, so if you're looking more for a large meal this is not your spot. I got the nashville hot mozzarella sticks which were actually pretty good, I liked the tomato relish they put on top and the ranch was really good. Dive Bar Diva was my cocktail which was pretty good. My friends seemed to like their drinks and bar bites. After dinner we went upstairs to the club and got to skip the line (thankfully). The line for the club wraps around the building down the street most nights, so we got lucky. Dance floor is upstairs and it's pretty small, just one room. There were two DJs that night, and the music was really good. Bar was fun, they handed out free chicken tenders at one point and were squirting shots into peoples mouths out of gatorade bottles. It was awesome. Bathroom line upstairs for women was crazy, only one bathroom and it took a long line. I suggest going downstairs... but at least you'll see the famous cheetah print walls! I will say trying to get in contact with the reservation staff was difficult but finally they answered after days of my friends and I trying.
