Friendly service, good drinks. Love the police and fire patches all over the bar. We vote yes

Fun little hole in the wall. Bring your police patch to add to the decor! Townie bar with a friendly atmosphere.

What a welcome sight for tourists who tend to be annoyed by other tourists. It was a relief to find a cool dark place to escape the heat while waiting for a dinner rez at the 200 year old Union Oyster House. At the small bar there were 3 other guys besides us who, to set the scene, I've decided were retired homicide detectives. All over the bar, police patches from literally everywhere. A couple TVs, I think. The bartender, per my imagination and right out of central casting, was a former outlaw biker who decided to leave the life and take a day job. I really don't know because he didn't say much, but he was there when our glasses were empty. 5 stars for doing what other people are complaining about.

    Just a good looking pint.

Proper pint. Served in a Guinness glass. Hard to believe you have to say that, but I've had bubbly topped Guinness in an unbranded short pint glass before. Close to Canopy if you're staying there. Loved the windows that opened up too. Just a good dive bar. Good for drinking. Their well Chardonnay was LaCrema too. That's a nice score for my gal.

This place was super cool. They love first responders and the service was amazing! Bring a patch and they will display it on their wall.

The atmosphere was on point, and the music selection only made the experience better. Every song fit the vibe perfectly and added to that cool, hidden-gem feel. It happened to be trivia night, so people were already lining up near the screen getting ready to compete. We had only flown into the city a few hours earlier, so we opted to sit in the other room for a quieter evening. Not a complaint at all. The energy was fun to watch, but we were definitely in relaxation mode after traveling. There was also a conference happening at a nearby hotel, so the place filled up quickly. Even with the crowd, the bartender taking care of us remained incredibly attentive, checking in often and never making us feel forgotten. Excellent service in a busy room always stands out. We ordered three cocktails and every one was delicious. The Coconut Confidential was creamy and refreshing, basically a liquid piña colada. The Velvet Elvis packed a punch with the Jack Daniel's and Chambord. My favorite of the night was the Sassy Cactus Sip. The prickly pear flavor was fantastic and had me wishing I ordered a second. For food we shared the garlic broccoli, pretzel bites with cheese, and the artichoke dip with chips. Unexpectedly, the real MVP was dipping the broccoli into the artichoke dip. It absolutely hit the spot.

It is super well-priced at $15/person for 1.5 hours of gameplay which is more than enough for 2 people. They have a bunch of interactive dart games, including classic, and we were able to play all of them multiple times. Additionally, they have Rookie/Normal/Pro lines on the ground so you can choose where to stand and you don't have to be a professional dart player by any means to play these games. The staff is also super friendly. The only concern I had was that the staff wasn't super attentive to our dart table, so despite us clicking the request service button a few times, my girlfriend had to head to the bar to get our drinks and start a tab. My girlfriend's drink was not good either... it was a vodka mixed drink with a salt rim and it was just too salty. It would've been much better with a sugar rim I think. Other than that though, it was an amazing time and I'd highly recommend Flight Club for a date night, outing with friends, or corporate event!

I'd definitely recommend it for a fun and unique group experience.

Last summer I…read morechecked out the Deer Tick/Aunt Martha concert cruise on an evening where the weather couldn't have been more perfect. The crowd was crazy into the Deer Tick set, but I fell in love with Aunt Martha that evening - a great lineup choice by the outdoor boat venue, giving voice to a talented, much lesser-known New England act. The sound quality wasn't bad for being pitched around in the wind, there was ample space to move even though it was a sold out show, and while you still spent too much money on plastic cup drinks, good music on a boat sailing around the Boston Harbor made it worth it. I'll definitely be scouring the lineup again this year for good shows - if you can't get on board with a summer concert cruise I'm pretty sure you're a freedom-hating terrorist, and you and I should not be friends. Which for a venue is insane mismanagement. They have one single 3-foot wide entrance (besides the VIP entrance, which I didn't experience other than to see it similarly lacked signage and coordination). The bathrooms had no line management, a terrible layout, and lacked signage so people were confused and bumping into each other constantly.
