The dining tables were lovely - set with votive candles, small bud vases with roses and menus with our group name/logo. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We received a lot positive feedback from the dinner guests who enjoyed their meals and the ambiance of the evening. Taylor, Karim and their staff provided excellent service throughout the night and were attentive to our guests with dietary restrictions. For impeccable service and a memorable meal we highly recommend the Hampshire House for your next event!

She was going to make a terrible day a great one and she did. She gave us great service, extra things we did not pay for like a a collector mug. She smiled and interacted with us. The food was good. BUT she was great! The staff there was absolutely focused on us leaving with a smile on our face and a great experience in our heart. They get an A+ for service. It can be pretty tough finding something so good luck. Seating: It's 3 floors of vibes (depending on the day) but this is no hidden gem, if you're looking for a local vibe, check this place out. Vibes: The nice touristy side of Boston, walking distance to a few scenic things. As for the spot, think Irish bar meets full-on nightlife energy. One floor might have karaoke, another has DJs, and another is just people vibing with drinks. It's lively, a little chaotic (in a fun way), and definitely a younger crowd energy. FOOD/DRINKS: Drinks are solid and pretty affordable for Boston, which is always a win. They've got everything from beers and seltzers to margaritas and cocktails. This isn't a craft cocktail lounge--it's more of a "grab a drink and keep the night going" type of place. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Great! I needed water and they provided it, no problem! TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. I didn't expect to have so much fun on a Monday night (the singing, the crowd participation, the dancing). What. A. Vibe. Maybe I got lucky but I hope you get this experience when you stop by.Fun, high-energy, and perfect for a night out with friends. Not the place for a quiet drink--but if you're trying to turn up a little and keep things moving, this is a solid stop in Boston. TIPS: *They seem to have something going on every night so check their website!

You basically have your own area to play darts but with virtual games attached to it. We had our own server replenishing the all you can eat foods which were yummy--I loved the pizzas! They also came around for drink orders or you could go to the bar yourself. Drinks were a little pricey but good. We were in the corner so had a spot by the window which was nice as it was crowded inside. The mini games were also fun. We had a larger group so it took a while to circulate through the games until we learned you could do teams. Definitely think a group of 4 would be perfect for this place. Inventive cocktails, awesome bartender, the perfect comfy laid-back after school vibe. The place is small but really cute with seats available right in front of the bar. Even with a party of 3 at 8pm, we were promptly seated! We quickly grabbed a few menus and were immediately impressed by their great selection. There's something for everyone! The bartender really puts an incredible amount of care into his craft, and it shows. Great, diverse cocktail list and knowledgeable people that can whip up custom drinks on demand. He was attentive and always had a smile on his face. Oh, and pretty damn cute too! I definitely plan on coming back, probably at a later time to check out the night scene. Overall the drinks at Bewley's Bar are great and the company he keeps there even better. A great place to chat with "regulars", relax and try something new. Can't wait to return!

The music leans toward classic rock--on one visit Black Sabbath was playing, and similar tunes have set the tone each time. The vibe is relaxed, unpretentious, and just the right level of lively. Sports are always on. I have caught the Red Sox, NFL games, and other sports during my visits. It is a great place to grab a beer and watch a game without the crowd or noise of a big sports bar. I have had the French Dip sandwich and the BLT, and both were good... nothing fancy, just satisfying pub food that hits the spot. The beer list is strong for a small place, with local and craft options on tap. It is beer and wine only, which works just fine here. The bar staff has always been friendly and welcoming. Seating is limited, and it can get tight, but that is part of the charm. It is the kind of place where regulars mix with first-timers and everyone feels comfortable. Three and a half stars would be right on the mark, but I will round up to four.
