I was in Boston for a work trip for a week near City Hall Plaza. I decided to pop into this place for a quick lunch. I have to say I really enjoyed it. I ended up coming back there almost every single day for lunch or for a drink after work on the way back to the hotel. I ended up having the lobster roll, their burger, boneless buffalo tenders, fish and chips and clam chowder. Everything was delicious especially the lobster roll and the burger. Prices were good service was fast and it was cozy. My only complaint is I wish I would kick the AC up a little bit because it wasn't as much of a relief from the heat as I'd have liked. But I guess that's what the beer is for. read more

This review isn't even about food. I went into this place bc my phone died and I needed to figure out if it died or just needed charge. I was sick out of my mind bc I was in a city I didn't know and no way of knowing how to get back to my hotel. They let me try to charge my phone and gave me a taxi number. This seems to be a common theme... My group and I approached the front door this past Saturday night and the bouncer was inside so we went in to show our ID. For a weekend night, it wasn't packed so we're looking forward to sitting down and enjoying a beer. Immediately the bouncer said we can't be here... "the fries are burnt, you guys can't come in." I responded, no worries we're not eating. The bouncer repeated himself, "you can't be here." We laughed it off thinking that's a weird reason, then realized after he let the group behind us inside. I'm Korean American and this was absolutely disgusting. This pub is giving Boston a terrible name. We went in after wrapping up The Freedom Trail on a very rainy day! We were soaked but Scotty the bartender told us to come and dry off. Had the chowder and salad and the food was good!
