I was in Boston for a work trip for a week near City Hall Plaza. I decided to pop into this place for a quick lunch. I have to say I really enjoyed it. I ended up coming back there almost every single day for lunch or for a drink after work on the way back to the hotel. I ended up having the lobster roll, their burger, boneless buffalo tenders, fish and chips and clam chowder. Everything was delicious especially the lobster roll and the burger. Prices were good service was fast and it was cozy. My only complaint is I wish I would kick the AC up a little bit because it wasn't as much of a relief from the heat as I'd have liked. But I guess that's what the beer is for. read more

We were wandering around downtown Boston and wanted a drink but not a soda, originally looking for a cool coffee shop, saw this and thought why not? Bartenders are friendly and service is fast, bf had the fish and chips it was awesome! I had the lobster roll also very good! If we are ever back in Boston we will visit again. read more

The Hub Pub one of Boston's hidden gems casual and relaxed pubs. The old school pub was excellent the bartender was totally a good guy. The food is really good had a bowl of clam chowder with crackers and a beacon hill cheeseburger with fries was really good and the fries were cooked awesome. My wife and I are regular visitors to Boston and every time we visit, we have to make a stop at The Hub Pub! We met Scotty (bartender/server) more than a few visits ago and he is the best! He provides excellent and friendly service. His music selection is also on point! He creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere that makes people want to come back! This review isn't even about food. I went into this place bc my phone died and I needed to figure out if it died or just needed charge. I was sick out of my mind bc I was in a city I didn't know and no way of knowing how to get back to my hotel. They let me try to charge my phone and gave me a taxi number. I ordered food and drinks bc I'm not a leach, lol.it was good but I'm afraid I wasn't in the mood to eat or drink bc of my stress.
