Absolutely not. Everything seemed microwaved, chewy and dry. I've had Kraft Mac and cheese that was 10 times better than the dry rubber they served me. There was maybe a tablespoon of cheese sauce throughout the dish. The meatloaf was rubber, the fork couldn't even cut into it. Burger was barely okay. We never got refills. The menu said sourdough bread for the meatloaf and mushroom gravy. My fiancé got a white piece of bread, and pepper gravy. I don't think I've ever been this mad at a restaurant. It felt like I was going to get food poisoning or something. DO BETTER. read more

Came in for taco week. I ordered two fish and two carnitas. I also ordered chips and salsa which I assumed would be served ahead of time like an appetizer. They don't do that she said so, I passed when they came out with all our other food. The fish taco had some spice and good crunch but not a lot going on past that. The carnitas taco was moist and tender definitely just ok. They give you two homemade biscuits while you wait. They're very sweet. I got the little guy that was with me the kids portion of chicken fingers and fries. He seemed to enjoy them. Maybe I'll give it another try sometime for a burger or something. It's hard to believe I have driven by this establishment for years without stopping in! My wife suggested we give it a try - and you know me - always up for a food adventure. The offerings range from blackened tilapia or Mahi-mahi, freshly made soups, a worthy list of appetizers (you can't leave without trying the potato pucks!) and a great selection of local beers to pair with your meal. The homey atmosphere was complemented by a very attentive staff. Quick with the refills on drinks and a server who made our first experience here worthy of a return. I could almost see myself as a regular here! The meatloaf dinner was a healthy portion - it had a smoky overtone and a definite burger vibe going on. I ordered the mashed potatoes and curry rice as my sides. The mushroom gravy was so good, I could have had a bowl full with some biscuits and a great big smile on my face! Nice family pub. Attentive servers and good food. It was pretty empty when we were there 7:30-10:00 pm) but they still had full staff. Nice pub menu - lots of fried stuff, good looking salads, burgers etc. Also lots of televisions for watching the game. I wouldn't say this is my favorite place, but I would come again. read more

Came here for Cincy Burger Week - tried out their Burgerrito - I was so hungry, I devoured the whole thing. I am not a big fan of black beans, so I was about to order it without, but my sister talked me into trying it with the black bean mash. I couldn't taste it, so I guess that was a good thing. Not bad for a $5 burger. So the burger was good, but I docked points because the bread pudding was a let down. It was basically a muffin covered in ice cream and whipped cream. I also got a corner wedge as the bread puddling slice, so it was hard and dry. read more

This is cool place to try for a quick bite to eat where you can sit down in addition to watching a sports game that's on. We were seated very promptly when we arrived which was nice for a Friday night. Our server came over and took our drink orders. It did take a while for her to come back with the drinks but that is expected on a Friday night. Once we got our drinks to us, she took our food orders where we ordered an appetizer and two entrees. Unfortunately our sever must have forgotten to put in our appetizer as it never made it to our table but thankfully it wasn't on our on bill at the end of the night. Overall the food was good for the price that we paid. I would consider going back another night in the week for a second chance at better service. read more

I used to love this place l as a child but I went back recently and was very disappointed. First off there were not many vegetarian options this includes things on the menu or things that could be made vegitarian. I ended up eating mainly sides and they forgot a side I ordered. Arrived at 6:15 for dinner to a relatively quiet and semi- empty restaurant; was shown to the front area of the party room looking out onto Cooper Rd. I ordered the fish and chips and my husband ordered the burger and fries. The food arrived quickly. The fish was okay, the coating was a different, but the portion amount was huge. The fries inside reminded me of a baked potato consistency, which was off putting to me. My husband liked the cook on his burger but thought the same of his fries. I just wasted to shout out our server, Destiny. We were at Slatt's earlier this evening to celebrate a birthday there were almost 30 people in our party. From the second we were seated, Destiny was friendly, energetic, helpful, accommodating, and really attended to our every need (even saw to that the TV's channel was changed to something we wanted to see). Most folks would have been completely overwhelmed by that large a party, but she didn't even seemed fazed. As I sit here at my desk typing this, I'm still in awe. Thanks to Slatts for making out celebration a success, but more than anything, thank you Destiny for being incredible. Came for Cincy Taco week for the $2 tacos. There was a 20 minute wait for a table. Once seated, our server took our drink order right away. My hubby & I each ordered a carnitas taco, a chicken taco & a fish taco. We also got a side of steak fries. Everything was delicious & the service was great. If you are looking to avoid chain restaurants then I recommend Slatts. They have a very diverse menu ranging from appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, fish tacos, ribs, grilled chicken, pasta, and steaks. There is a bar feel(flat screen TVs) on one side of the restaurant and a family feel to the other half. They have a decent selection of beer on tap and good options for wine drinkers. Servers are always polite and prompt. read more

This place was recommended by a couple friends. We arrived Saturday evening wanting a table for 6 without a reservation. Hostess seemed a little hesitant at first and then asked if a hightop would be ok. Told her we would rather have a table if possible. Waited 10-15 minutes and she said she had a table that just paid and we could have that table. Everyone there was as friendly as one could be.The other 2 couples were a little late so we ordered and appetizer (Signature Spicy Chicken Spring Rolls) ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. For our first time at this place, we had the best time! My husband and I were celebrating 38 years anniversary of our first date. We got three appetizers (Fried zucchini, soft pretzels with beer cheese, hummus with pita) and then a couple of drinks each. We also ordered and enjoyed Crème Brûlée. Everything was so good! This meal was terrible! The salad had a bad taste like maybe the tomatoes were rancid and my salmon was "rubbery". If ever I am here again, maybe I will try a burger or some more "pub like" meal. I should know better than trying Salmon in a place like this. I mean it's not Red Lobster ! The atmosphere is nice and it was comfortable. I like the fact that the air conditioner wasn't blasting. My husband and I went to Slatts Pub 10/22/2020. Food was good (a little too salty) but still not bad. Food came out quickly but our server was "horrible". She took our order and we never saw her again until she did manage to come by once and asked if we needed anything, I said we need to go boxes. Again, never saw her again and she never approached our table again, We waited 45min for to go boxes. Our server kept walking back and forth and never once looked over at our table. Never once asked we wanted a refill on drinks. 45 min later, Finally my husband went up to the bar to ask for containers. Another waitress did bring them out. Our waitress only came to give us our check and she was very quick about picking up the payment. Have visited Slatt's on two consecutive late afternoons sitting at the bar. Very accommodating seating with nice bartender service. Had a cheeseburger served with fries the first day. Superb fresh made half pound patty on high quality bun with all the trimmings. Fries were thick cut & meaty. Asked for a spicy aïoli opposed to catsup for the fries & A-1 sauce for the burger. My only complaint would be their catsup is a low quality brand which seems sinful to put on a high quality burger / fries. The next day I had soup du jour of potato soup. It was excellent & must be house made (I would say most items are made from scratch). Later I enjoyed a plate of buffalo chicken nachos. It had plenty of fixings to smear all over the generous portion of fresh made chips. Had a nice kick to it as well which was cooled off by several craft beers from regional breweries. Atmosphere is very nice, pleasant & casual but not too fancy or too divey. Happy hour prices help make things stretch out further if you make use of their deals. Half off drafts as well as half off several appetizers - the nachos were one. There are several TVs to watch the games but the bar crowd isn't packed as say a sports bar. Great neighborhood spot in the center of Blue Ash. Great food, drinks and a small patio for those good weather days

The atmosphere alone, deserves 10 stars! A perfect divide between a family friendly restaurant and relaxed spot to meet a friend for a beer. The happy hour options, available Monday through Friday happen to be one of the reasons that Slatts is my favorite spot in town. They offer HALF OFF selected appetizers AND deals on alcohol from 4-7pm. I live about 10 minutes away so this a perfect place for my family and I to enjoy quick lunch, or a fun date night out. An incredibly attentive staff who are always accommodating. I must shoutout Destiny for her outstanding service and contagious smile! She is one of the many reason I continue to return. The spring rolls are my favorite appetizer they offer but the fried zucchini is delicious as well! The food here just sucks. I am not trying to be overly mean it just does. I have been in there three times. Twice for personal and once for a work party in the food has been horrible. I have always paid my bill and paid the waitress generously because it is not their fault. I honestly cannot believe you charge the price you do for the food that you get. There is nothing that stands out anytime I ordered anything it has been below subpar. Not to mention any time we have ordered appetizers they always come out with the food and I think that is basic 101 that you dont do that. If that happens on accident ones that is fine but every time we have gone in again it's very disappointing.We live a block away from there and I was really hoping it would be a place that we would love. Just got back from this place on a Sunday night during the busy holiday season. Slatts is an official "Cleveland Browns" bar, and we originally planned around that (not being Cleveland fans), but the game was rescheduled to later and even started late. So I called that afternoon to hold reservations for our party of 12. We arrived and were seated promptly in a party room, and in spite of the gameday crowd, our service was excellent. It wasn't as teriyaki flavored as I had hoped and the mango salsa didn't really do much flavor wise either because there wasn't much and it was somewhat dry. I've been to Slatts a handful of times to have a post-run dinner with my running buddies. Usually there are at least 8 of us each time we go, so I suppose the slow service (even to get water!) is somewhat forgivable... ...somewhat. The atmosphere is good, but nothing special. Lots of seating, a big bar, and many TVs throughout the bar area. The food is better than traditional "bar food", with some not-commonly-seen appetizers in such an establishment. How many pubs have hummus as an appetizer option?! I love the fried zucchini strips - they are thin, long slices that are breaded and fried, served with a creamy peppery sauce to dunk it in. So so good! I've had their fish tacos, which are some of my favorite in the area. They use *grilled* fish, not fried! A+ in my book just for knowing the fish is to be grilled for tacos! By far the best thing to eat are their biscuits with cinnamon-sugar butter. Oh, my. They know their biscuits. Slatts would get a 4th star if I finally have a visit where we get our waters within 10 minutes... or our bread plates arrive *before* the biscuits are served... or our silverware arrives *before* our appetizers come... or we're given enough menus for our *entire* party... Regardless, if you're in the area and need a beer and some food (and have some time to kill), check out Slatts. Let's just hope they work on their service a bit more! read more

Hey gang. Just started going to this local Blue Ash Resturant. Giving them major props for having metal mugs for Moscow Mules!!! As for apps the Chick curry & rice balls are great! Also love the pita bread & humus it also includes a feta whip!! Mmmmmm! Mmmmmm! Good! Since I'm watching my girlish figure I got the no carb burger. Nice burger patty that sits on top of a wedge salad. The blue cheese crumbles & wine vinaigrette were both great on it Definitely check this place out. Go after 8 crowd seems to die down. My WIfe & I do a Burger Blog and Slatts has been on our list a long time, many people have told us to try it out, so yesterday we did for Lunch. We both ordered the Classic Burger, with lettuce, tomato, onion and pepper jack cheese, the piece of beef was thick and one of the biggest burgers we've ever tried. overall it was dry & tasteless, it was not bad, it just was not very good, just ok is the best I can give it, the toppings were fresh and good, the pepper jack cheese had no taste to it. the bun was toasted but also not that good, after all, we had heard so good about Slatts, we were very disappointed, it would not make our top 20 in the City, on the way home we grabbed Freddy's Double steakburger and it was awesome, twice as good as Slatts. We both said we would not be coming back here, the interior is a very nice, clean and nice place for groups or maybe to watch sports, parking is very limited in a busy area, very tough to find a place, and a long walk to the door. read more

I had this burger day two of burger week and it was my fourth burger in. Unfortunately it was later bested by another location. But at the time after four burgers it was definitely number one. This was also cosigned by friend who had the burger a day before. I told him there was a burger on the passport that he could not miss only to find out that he had had it already.
