Very good quality food, the service is not bad, but the wait is a little long. We had a great time there!

Almost everything about this experience was disappointing. This place will not stay in business long if it doesn't clean up its act. 1) Service. My in-laws were greeted disrespectfully, because they were 3 minutes early for our reservation. The service was slow (waited about 1 hour for food) and inaccurate (2 mistakes and neither corrected). 2) Prices are outrageous. There is NO reason for them to charge what they are. 3) Food lacked flavor and to make matters worse, the toppings / sauces were awful. - Hummus was fine, but they mistakenly (we did not order this) added canned mushrooms on top which just ruined the flavor - Israeli salad- I don't know how you can screw up tomato and cucumber but this had an awful flavor - Tahini - usually something I love with Mediterranean food, but this had an unusual almost spoiled flavor (between that and the Israeli salad - my schwarma sandwich was downright awful and too small for $15) - Taco appetizer was only highlight of meal- it was served cold but still had decent flavor

So glad I tried this place! I loved seeing all the vegetarian / vegan options on the menu! Mediterranean places generally only offer falafel on the menu (still a favorite) but I'm happy to see other options! I had the vegan shawarma plate which was very filling! The seitan bites they used were chewy & had a texture similar to meat but spiced accordingly! Definitely filling! The baba ganoush & could have been more creamier & smokier in my opinion but was still good! Definitely coming again to try all the vegan options on the menu!

Great food. t dishes. I usually get chicken schwarma and some matzoball soup

This is a great restaurant. I used to go here when they were across the street. They've moved to a nicer place and added a lot of different dishes to their menu. I always get good service. They have a nice beer in wine selection also.

Great place for lunch. Super quick. Wonderful vegan food. Discovered that it's a short drive from my office. Love having great vegan/vegetarian food options nearby. Will definitely make this a regular place for lunch. Update 10/18/18: their online ordering is pretty easy too. Ordered lunch today and

    Portobello mushroom panini with coleslaw

Looking for vegetarian, vegan, or Kosher cuisine? The Kinneret Cafe meets all those needs. Mediterranean lunch and dinner options. I had a lunch special. Lunch specials are even available on Sundays. Choices are a sandwich with either fries, or soup, or a drink. I opted for the portobello mushroom panini, and an order of fries. The sandwich also came with a small cup of coleslaw, and piece of pickel. The panini had a big garlic flavor. The bread was nicely pressed. Fries were crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside. I thought I was hungry, and it all ended up being too much food. Faux meat options are also available. As others have stated, limited parking is in the front, with additional parking in the back. It is a small location. Food is handmade, and does take awhile to come out. If in a hurry, online and phone ordering is available. If you enjoy their food, and also enjoy meat, the Kinneret Grill is also owned by the same family. Both restaurants are closed on Saturdays.

    Amazing vegan Mediterranean food!

The old pescatarian location across the street and the new location on the mall strip have been combined into one now, and this place caters to omnivores, pescatarians, vegans, and vegetarians. Their famous vegan schnitzel and schwarma plates are still on the menu, but the smoothies are no longer on the menu. The owners are nice people who cater to your food preferences. The decor is nice and more spacious than the old location. I appreciate that vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. They are also great with making onion-free items upon request.

Very clean and cheerful space, attentive staff. First time here for lunch. I enjoyed the vegan Mediterranean plate and will return for the vegan schwarma

Pretty good food. Matzo ball soup broth was yummy. Falafel sandwich was huge! Their Kinneret Salad was huge!

Only thing is I wish they could make it gluten free. I got the Mira bowl in a kid size portion and had boiled eggs as an add on. Perfect portion! The bartender recommended the smaller size since I was getting waffles and I'm glad she made that suggestion. Lavender latte with oatmilk was light and delicate. Just what I was looking for. Nothing was too sweet and I enjoyed everything. The inside had a nice airy feel to it. They have a cute little kids corner filled with books and fun stuff for the little ones to stay busy while waiting on meals. They close at 3 so I recommend enjoying it for brunch/lunch!

Being visitor from VA Beach, I asked what's the recommended dish, the server suggested omelette. But I wasn't in the mood for omelette so I saw shakshuka. I tried their Green Goddess version that has spinach (instead of tomato sauce) and feta. The food is a solid 3. I also ordered the Dubai Chocolate latte. It was a 3 as you taste more the milk than the chocolate syrup. I also got their chocolate chip banana bread.

But then slowly everything changed. He reconstructed it to where you order at one place and pick up at another. Ok. New staff, one or two of the original people are there.M The new staff have NO customer service skills. Consistently, always have an attitude when you go to the cash register they look at you like they hate you. They have no training in Customer Service greeting, smiling thanking you for your business. None whatsoever and if they were trained, they're not using the skills when no one's watching them. Slowly the prices went up and up and up, which is true of everywhere , but at one point their prices for their tiny baked goods were insane . It appears maybe they lowered some , but you can't walk out of there without spending a lot of money. Also, they changed the tuna recipe which was their classic number one signature tuna. They're now using a cheaper fish or tasting brand. It's more liquidy and it's a completely different taste. Fishy It's not good. I might as well make it at home I can use albacore instead of their cheap tuna. Their pastries are *tiny and overpriced. They have raised prices ok but they drastically cut the portions they give you . It's half the amount of food that Marks is is known for . Marxx is known for its overstuffed Bagels - no more but they are charging more for much less food. If you're going to charge a lot, at least give the same amount of portions that people who have been loyal customers are used to. Also, they bought bigger containers, but they put less in them. It's so obvious when you buy loose tuna or loose cream cheese it's in a different bigger container with less food in it. Overall, I feel the place is completely gone down downhill! the things that were known for like the tuna the over stuffed sandwiches being able to feel like you got a good meal with a nice portion. All of that is gone. They're inconsistent with the portion sizes they give you and sometimes it's just not even enough. I had ordered containers of cream cheese with salmon in it and tuna and I had company over and what normally lasted did not because there's so much less food in the containers. Unfortunately, the tuna does not taste good anymore and he's probably buying something other than albacore to save money. People notice what you're doing they see that everything is being cut, and that the taste is changing the bagels are much smaller but are higher in carbohydrates . I go to Skip's now as well, and Skip's has much bigger softer. Bagels and their food is actually improved and I still like the salmon cream cheese and a lot of of the food at Mark's and allow myself to go there, but I don't go there as often.

I don't know how long this place been here, but walking in feels like the place just got renovated, very clean, and welcoming, one of the girl is not, seem like she just woke up, even tho is 4pm in the afternoon, maybe she got started her shift My server was more friendly, very nice lady I can't remember what my ordered, but you can see it on the menu. Now I don't know is me or because of what it is now in our country, everything seem sooooo expensive You see in my photo, that sandwich is like $17, you can order half sandwich half side, or the full sandwich like mine for the same price, like I said, is 4pm in the afternoon, this is my first meal, so I'm going for the full. Added basket of fries for $4.99 and a cup of soup another $4.99 Food is okay, nothing special. I'm not a big fan, the reason why I'm giving it 5 stars even tho is not up to my standards of taste, that's because of me, everyone taste are different, I'm not going to let what my taste effect my stars rating, the food still good, place is clean, my server is friendly A bit expensive, I walked out of there $30, for a sandwicH, fries and soup, in a tiny little town of Dayton?
